xJem: about getting attacked while travelling... Get the most expensive vehicles and avoid them (20 Kmh Hummers), unless you're travelling up northeast with bunch of angry motorcyclists.

Newgroundbrawler what you said is complete nonsense. My comment was just to say that it is a good game but it could be even better without that slowness in the desert and in battles. See it as a complain if you want. If comments were just usefull for children to say "Excellent game i love-it-it roxxx xtremlllolilox" or to insult people like you did, that would be completely useless. Play barbie.

Haha, you can begin the campaign for desert patrol, have two patrols for guarding and then simply earn looot of cash without being attacked even once x]

The story is interesting, but there is a few very annoying things:
- Shops are too frequently "not interested" in what you have to sale. Hey, take my old gun for 10$ but I least I don't want to throw it away ;)
- Moving in the desert in sooo slow, even in fast mode.
- Most of the game time is spent in battles. It is almost impossible to travel without being attacked 3 times. Ok but again why is it sooo slooow ? The fast mode is so boring ! Is the slow mode for masochists??

GIVE ME MORE BADGES! Also I found an infinite money glitch (=fun), making beating the game easy. Don't try that to get the badge though. Because you technically don't have a specific amount of money with the glitch. Ask me for details if interested in said glitch.

This game rocks! It has a pretty steep learning curve, but it's the most in-depth flash game I've ever played. Please make a caravaneer 2.

Catgravy, When outside of a town go to the little symbol in the bottom right hand corner. Click it, it should have the "Save Game" option.

in caravaneer 2 it should say how much water food fuel and forage u need to get to another town

This is very similar to Fallout 2, wasteland, even the combat system (action points i.e.) but is very very addictice :]

great game, I just wish it were bigger. Maybe with smaller profits too, once you hit the Qubba area it gets kinda easy. A "silk road" kinda thing with two groups of towns separated by a vast distance would be cool.
The one gripe I have is the lack of an undo feature in the combat mode. (Or maybe I'm just missing it) it's very easy to misclick and send one of your guys charging forwards into a hail of bullets.

Haha, before you attack a caravan you should know that doing that makes you an enemy of the state, every police unit will attack you and they WILL destroy you.
I'm almost at the end of the game, and it is only now that i have to attack a caravan. I have hired every man or woman from every town and they're all driving a hummer.
The plan now is to take the government down...

TankerToy, I hate to burst your all knowing bubble but the M1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle was the leading sniper rifle in WWI. It had tremendous range for those times but it's nothing compared to nowadays. It didn't have as good range as you thought in WWII, seeing as the Lee Enfield equipped with a scope would have far better range(the scope would be for seeing not actually enhancing range). Also in WWII a Kar98k has better range, in the future please don't make things up. Also, a M1903 would indeed be the most accurate but because they don't make them anymore they probably would need constant maintenance if you owned one and used it.

Great game over all, but fyi the spring field rifle was the leading sniper rifle of wwII. naturally it has a geater range.
