I haven't finished it yet, although I'm fairly certain who the murderer is. I liked how everything combined makes a good game.
The ECI thing can be improved though.

Loved the game. Though the proving of innocence was a bit, well, strange, the overall feel of the game, artwork and storytelling-wise, was quite good. Looking forward to the sequel as announced on their site. :)

The game overall is fun to play, but it did have some weak points. I liked how you had to present the different clues to the right people to get them to share more information, but the "look them in the eye" mini-game was totally useless. Finding clues was not insanely difficult like it is in some of these games. There definitely was a detective feel to the game as you had to return to various places as you gained more information. The music and the random grunting were definitely annoying after 5 minutes. I think the end game was actually the most well done. You not only had to identify the murderer & weapon, but you had to show that you actually followed the clues as well. Overall, I give it a 4/5. I'd definitely like to see more games!

It was pretty nice. A lot of people may not have noticed it but it was a pretty fun short game to play with a really good amount of detail in it.
The whole plot, and especially how the characters reacted involved a lot of thinking; to get down the body movements and tiny little body language clues.
I liked it pretty well. It was interesting to say the least, though I will say some of it was cliche (hey, who could blame them), though I likely wouln't have expected Pete at first without the body language and his reactions and such.

Hm, it didnt took long time to find out Pete(mechanic) was the murder, but it took long time to find clues and get everyone Innocent exept Pete(mechanic) :D Totally unexepted that the Pete(mechanic) did it, he seemed like a nice old guy :) But he wuz a friggen MURDAH!

I must add.. there are much better detective games out there for all of you with the low standards. Try the Nick Bounty games (they clearly are a tribute to Monkey Island) http://www.otterarchives.com/cotc.html

A horribly done game. It's all to obvious, the characters are just stereotypical and cheesy, and the things that prove them innocent.. really wouldn't necessarily do so. Throw in an unlikeable protagonist, obnoxious animation, and painfully stupid dialogue, and this is what you get!

hmm..........pete did it VERY interesting...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xD:

took me at least an hour...... I knew who did it at the most 1/3 of the way through Just use deduction of body language and movement and jsut the things you see... you don't even have to get all the clues to find out who did it.... although you have to find all of them to finsh the game.. which I thought was not cool....-----maybe the developer should change this----- *cough* *cough* *ahem*
It's good though 5/5
