at the start of the game they give you a lot of shards to give you the illusion that you are going to get a lot more in the future and waste them all on epic packs so that in the future you wont have enough shards to buy good offers and be forced to buy cards with real money just to continue on the game

the devs made the game then some people plad it then the devs thought they were gods or somthing and stopped caring this game could definately be the 5th best game on kong or perhaps higher if the developers payd half the attention they pay at making money on actually updating the game

game is dying and the devs are censorship kings ad taking away our right of free speech

I don't even really play it anymore. I just auto battle because it's much less fun than most TCGs/CCGs. Just use one out of 3 cards. At least Animation Throwdown has combinations. Although I stopped playing that game because the energy limit was so low that I'd have to play every 2.5 hours and be able to play only two or three battles. At least Spellstone is more fair with the energy limit. I can wait about 9 hours in between playing most of the time. Although with battles costing more than 1 energy, sometimes I have 19 energy while a battle costs 20 for example, so it takes less time to recharge to the energy limit.

Do you guys realize that the upgrade and fusion system isn't made because it's a cool system, but because it requires people to spend 4 times as much money on cards and makes all cards that aren't fully upgraded useless? The free premium cards are useless for example because you can't collect enough of them to become useful. Combine that with the limited inventory space and limited gold storage and it becomes very annoying to play. I can't open packs to use gold because my inventory is full and I don't want to dust cards because I might collect 3 more in the future.

@superhammy: You get shards in the offers. Paying with shards and getting shards back is weird. Gold is plentiful. It's a challenge to use up my gold because my inventory is often full. They definitely don't want to make it easier to use your gold AND get shards and special cards in return.

Premium packs are really overpriced. It's about $6 each and you need 4 of a card to get the strongest version and also be lucky enough to find 4 of the same card you actually want. On average someone would collect almost all cards multiple times before getting the correct card 4 times. Almost any paid game you can buy is worth it more than that. Although that's true with almost all microtransactions.

@TorpedoCXC: I haven't found a paywall. It's really slow and grindy, but I just click auto battle on everything and win almost all campaign levels and most bounties. Too bad a loss takes away 8 times more points than a win gives me, so I'm stuck in rank 17 forever.

A reminder that if the loading bar doesn't say PROCESSING after a few seconds, just restart the game because it's not going to load. You might as well try the mobile version since it starts faster for me and may also for you if you have a high end smartphone.

100 card limit (slowly upgradeable or expensive). 5000 dust limit. 5000 epic pack fragment limit, 5000 legendary pack fragment limit. 4000 arena coins limit. 2 keys per month that expire in about a month. $6 random cards of which you need 4. Do I need to say more? This game is not designed to be as good as it can possibly be. No game with microtransactions is. Stick with the many 100% free Flash/HTML5 games on this website. They are humble and innocent. Not a game made to make as much money possible with as little content possible. Obviously Flash/HTML5 games don't take really long to make, so are not the best, so you can buy a paid indie game if you want a bigger, better, more polished game which still doesn't have any microtransactions. They often have years of development time vs months of simple free games. That means they are often worth the money if you buy a good one.

Can any reasonable person honestly tell that $6 for a single random premium epic card is worth it? Especially since you need 4 of them. 4 x $6 = $24. That's awfully expensive IF YOU'RE LUCKY because you need to randomly find the exact card you want 4 times in a row. That won't happen for many people. So you'll spend even more money. Just buy 6 packs of Pokemon cards. Then you will find one ultra rare on average. There's no fusion going on there, so it will be like an epic card here. Or better. Maybe like a legendary. I don't know. It's a better value and a REAL card though. Digital Pokemon cards cost 8-16 times less, so that will be a MUCH better deal. You can get an ultra rare for less than a dollar.

i wish the matchmaking for the PvP was better. sometimes I go up against really strong decks and other times I go up against really weak ones.

Premium epic cards cost $6 each (with 25% chance of legendary) and you need 4 of them to make them the strongest. That's $24 IF you can get 4 of the exact card you want, which is not going to happen. For 2 epic cards you can buy 3 Pokemon booster packs. REAL booster packs with REAL cards. Or like 24-48 digital booster packs if you buy them from people for $0.25 to $0.50 each.

I find that the matchmaking i nthe areana is NOT taking into accout your rank. I should not be pulling people in GOLD 1 as a BRONZE 3

I am 99% sure that the Devs got bored with TU, and decided to create the exact same game with a different look. Still P2W.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The arena matchmaking is rigged. I can't get past bronze III because I keep getting matched up with people in Gold II and III. The game is also extremely P2W

@JonathanZohD I have no idea. I just refresh and wait a few seconds until it says PROCESSING. Otherwise it won't load. Even when it works, it takes way longer and is way laggier than the mobile version even though my laptop is obviously faster than my phone.

In at bounty rank 17 out of 18 and let me tell you that it takes like half a year to get to 18 and stay there. In bounty rank 17, you lose once and lose 2000 exp while a win only gives you 250 exp. That's 8 wins to make up for a single loss. I'm lucky to even stay at rank 17. I've been rank 17 since at least November 2019. Give the game 2 more badges so I haven't completely wasted my time. 2 hard badges. Like bounty rank 10-15 or reach level 20-30. I don't even remember how long it took to get there.

If you've played this game very far, don't forget to install the Steam and mobile versions for extra achievements. It's also way easier on the go with the mobile version and for me it starts way faster since all assets are stored locally. Even if this game stores assets locally, my hard drive sucks compared to my phone's flash memory.
