I probably won't have the stamina to play this game long enough to get 51 stars. That's more than 100 battles spread over days... With pay2win at its finest (really, there is no point in playing with the starting deck (cards with 2/5) when you get 22/85 cards with money. I now you can probably play for years to upgrade your cards to this level, but what's the point? It's not even like you could actually play the game long enough if you enjoyed it since the stupid energy system prevents you to play a battle more than once every 20-50 minutes... 1-starred and shame on kongregate for badging that pos.

Seriously? The medium badge is literally just keep playing levels until you get the stars? Not even "replay the level until you win really well"? Just "Replay it and win ten times"? Jeez. Come on, Kong.

Badges are just an easy way for the developers to gain info about how people play their games. Don't trade your time to support these garbage p2w games in any way.

Unskippable tutorial, no way to mute the game until you reload it (except muting the browser of course), couldn't start the 11th mission despite having enough energy until I reloaded the game (again).
I really had fun with Tyrant about 7 years ago, but this is an instant 1/5.

For $5 you can get the card that instantly destroys any opponents cards, as long as they haven't spent money!
I thought idle games were the worst things on the site. You just blew it out of the water. If I could, I'd hack Kongregate and remove this game, that's how bad it is.

Adding on to all the complaints: Energy costs scale stupidly out of control. Mission 21 costs 45 Energy. Mission 28 literally costs 100. That's literally half of the allotted stockpile that takes over three hours to build. Even if you don't play on auto, these battles take 3 minutes tops. And if you lose, that's literally hours of waiting to get it all back. This is outrageous. This is a damn disgrace to the original Tyrant, and to Kongregate for supporting it.

the game isnt the best of these card games but the gameplay is fun. The upgrade and fusion and deck building and collecting are all completely f*cked up. It's a complete mess basically and you spend more time figuring that out than actually playing. People who complain about energy are stupid, you can gain energy by doing battles which also gives gold & new cards, so that system is pretty cool.
It's an okay game overall, similar to a lot of card games though. 2/5

The medium badge would take about half an hour to get if it wasn't for the stupid energy system. Instead it takes multiple days. This is everything wrong with Kongregate.

Got the badges and dropped my 1 star rating. If you manage to get some warbonds click on the box banner on the top of the store page and click the special offer button on the bottom left. It will sell you a card for 10 WB which should make badge hunting easier.

Also, mute buttons is in the deck menu, and promotion points are spent by pressing the promote button in the battle menu and selecting an unlocked commander in the current tier. Once you have unlocked all the rare (tier 1) commanders you can unlock epic (tier 2) commanders, once those are all unlocked any legendary (tiers 3 and 4) commander can be accessed.

How to get badges: Use starting warbonds to buy card(s if there is a deal) from whatever box is current. Make your deck 3 cards so your good cards always get drawn to your hand. There may be a few exceptions to this amount. When you run out of energy for missions, do battles to level up and restore energy. Use gold to buy basic 20 pack. Salvage all commons and rares to upgrade your best cards. Note that this advice is not the best for the long-game, it's just for badge-hunting.

Some hints for those just play for the medium badge: You need to play missions to earn stars. You need energy to play missions. Besides waiting, you can level up to regain your energy (and stamina). To gain level, you need to select "battle", then close the "PvP brawl". Only battle their will gain you level. Buy Odyssey box at special offer with your starting and rewarded tokens. I bought 6. Remove those cards that are a lot weaker from your deck.

Promotion system seems to be bugging. Cannot spend promotion points on anything. Nothing can be clicked on in that screen.

:\ can't even play the game since clicking on the mission/battle opponents to start a battle doesn't work most of the time. probably because the server can't handle all the requests or something...

OMG, so much strategy in this game of clicking auto-play and skip a bunch of times! Victory! Victory! Loss! Victory!- Who cares?
And energy? Love that feature. TOTALLY. It's really fun coming on every day to play a few days of nothing.
I'm sorry, but I'm unhappy that this kind of game got badges.

You know, I've seen Pay 2 Win, and it's terrible and all that. But this really takes it to another level. You have a 2/5 with a 1 turn summon. And then in this...Odyssey Shop which you are bombarded with, you have a 10/52 with a 1 turn summon? Not to mention all the abilities? I mean look, I get it, it's freemium and you're looking for whales to spend money on the game. But man, this is some pretty egregious bullshit.
