I mean I get that people are upset about the P2W aspect, but at least the game's difficulty curve is not that steep, so it's quite okay to not purchase cards. The mechanics of the game itself are somewhat common among TCGs, but I still had an okay time playing it. 3/5

Easy for badges. Can just auto and skip and get the easy. Medium: I continued to auto and skip what I could win and when I earned war bonds and gold from missions and battles I spent those for better cards and repeat. Later if you're into it a but then play on.

The art is quite good compared with many other CCG, and the gameplay is not bad. However, heavy P2W feature screws up everything. 1/5

Energy system, MMO, grinding, and *extreme* pay-to-win. From a business perspective, I understand Kong badging this game to drive up Kred sales, but this is far too much. Without paying, it's a tedious, grindy mess that relies too much on RNG. With paying, it's a pointless arms race where the only challenge is others who threw down cash.

As mentioned by a lot of others, the blatant P2W in this really drives me away. Additionally, the game itself in the free version isn't even challenging or engaging. I set it to auto-play and just clicked next to getting the easy badge and have no incentive to come back to it. I get wanting to badge a variety of games, but Animation Throwdown is already a P2W card game with more players, could have added a hard badge.

Buy Premium packs with the free currency they give you and faceroll through the badge missions. I remember playing the original Tyrant and it wasn't this... P2W abomination.

Since I'm only here for the badges, I used my free warbucks on a quadra pack, which allowed me to improve my deck full of 2/6s and 3/8s with 4 copies of a 19/75 (with Counterattack 19). The badge is trivial after that. Has synapticon ever heard of balancing?

Maybe league system in PvP would solve some problems. Like if your deck has OP cards in it, you can't play in the beginner league. And the starting mission should cost a lot less energy.

I remember playing this game a lot when it first came out. I completed all the missions and had some pretty nice decks. Well, I came back for the badges, some of my original material were still there but l lost a lot. Auto play is nice if you want to skip, I shut it off to make the game more interesting. The "grab bag" feature (you can get one of OP cards for super cheap) is nice to lessen p2w aspect. Without it, you have no hopes of competing in the PvP mode.

This game is bad and everyone involved with it should feel bad. Honestly, only reason I still come back to kongregate is to get badges of the day and check if there are any new idle games (sry, I like those =P). Lately, most of the badged "games" on kong are chores, not fun in any imaginable way. Whose idea was it to badge this waste of bandwidth? That person should be fired. And the person that badged those papa's pizzeria "games", that would be better described as an unending stream of diarrhea than a "game", should be burried somewhere shallow.

Played for 2 days and I already have a deck that rips through the early battles and removes all strategy. This is now an idle game as you wait for more "energy"

And on top of everyone's p2w complaints? When you're just skipping through games on autoplay to get stars THERE IS LITERALLY NO GAME in this game - you're just sitting watching the computer do everything, while you drum your fingers, because there are zero interesting choices to make

I probably won't have the stamina to play this game long enough to get 51 stars. That's more than 100 battles spread over days... With pay2win at its finest (really, there is no point in playing with the starting deck (cards with 2/5) when you get 22/85 cards with money. I now you can probably play for years to upgrade your cards to this level, but what's the point? It's not even like you could actually play the game long enough if you enjoyed it since the stupid energy system prevents you to play a battle more than once every 20-50 minutes... 1-starred and shame on kongregate for badging that pos.
