yeah. game is poop. war metal was cool but this is just stupid. I guess if you are the dark triad type (narc, machi or psychopath) and need to grief other players by spending hundreds of dollars, this is the game for you. though you should spend that cash on getting professional help. cant buy power in HS or SE

@Brodst3r: Being free to play and well priced means exactly that. You can play for free and earn cards quite fairly, and be competitive, although you can also spend cash to gain packs. Hearthstone and ShadowEra offer fair pricing models, which don't equate to pay to win. You can be free to play (I am in hearthstone, but spent money in shadowera) and be competitive. I am a legendary ranked, top 400 player on HS, never spent a cent. I liked war metal, it had some problems but the concept was good. This game here is an affront to gaming and the war metal fanbase. The devs or diehard loser fanboys can create as many accounts as they want, to downrank new comments. The top comments are still there for all to see, and echo exactly what i stated. The devs can rot in hell, they are guilty of greed at its worst. ishadowera is just good fun that i wanted to support the devs, by giving them money (they arn't super rich like blizzard) this dev deserves nothing

Can't say if upgrade cards system is good or bad. On one hand, everyone loves upgrades and making some cards OP. On the other hand, in the first tyrant most of the time win or lose depended on your skill of making deck, and now you can lose because you somehow got into a fight against someone with 10 fully upgraded legendary cards.

do yourself a favor, go donwload Hearthstone or Shadow-Era, both free to play and well priced card games (made by professional developers) that dont screw their fanbase over

It's a crap game, especially compared to War Metal which was fun. At some point you will get to the stage where you can literally only play 1 or 2 matches before waiting for your energy to refill. You can only play 5 PVP matches before waiting for it to refill. You can only guild war when you have decent cards as you are required to have 5 members before fighting, so starting from scratch and fighting with other low guilds is not an option. Store prices are the most ridiculous thing I have seen in awhile. You don't buy packs with this game (which takes the fun away) you buy single random cards and have for a gold or pink. The tournaments dont exist! One of the best parts of War Metal, GONE! The UI is slow and matches suck compared to WM. Again, the store is the most digusting thing ever, a single epic card will set you back $10. I spent money in War Metal, I wont spend a cent on this piece of crap game

Not only are the prices outrageous, the card art is horrendous. Besides the WMT art they carried over, every new piece of art looks like something pulled straight outta power rangers.

The Dev's are constantly striving to improve this game. Brawls, Guild Wars, Less energy intensive events, soon to have pvp quest should make this game more accessible to free players. It does still require a fair bit of money if you want to play at the top end.

Pay $4.99 to get two 'Virtual' cards that are 'rare'....
Yeah I'm not that stupid, 'Uncommon' cards is what they should be called, and they shouldn't cost 2.50 a piece when it's the 'epic' and up that actually matter in this game.
Either lower your prices, make the game less grindy, allow energy to be purchased via Gold/Salvage, or You're going to lose with this business strategy.
Unless of course Thousands of teenage kids are using their parents money to fuel the money-grab tyrant has become...

Love the game. A little aggravated at how slow it is to build SP, and I am wondering if I will ever be able to catch up since I just started playing. Additionally, during wars and brawls everyone should start at 10/25 for players that are sleeping in other countries.

ctghost: Please play the game first before rating. Given your reward pack, I know you didn't play the first tyrant all that much. Therefore, you may not understand just how bad this game is compared to the first one. For me, who received a better loyalty package than you, it's "take everything bad about the first one, and make it much worse".

I had a message in my mailbox saying: "As a loyal player of War Metal Tyrant you might enjoy the sequel, Tyrant Unleashed. To get you started we have given you an exclusive package that includes a Vigil card (Epic Righteous), 25 Salvage Points, and 50 War Bonds. Just start the game to receive your gifts." I did not receive any of these gifts upon starting the game...if you can help with this I would be very pleased! Already gave the game 4 stars since I have played Tyrant before but with the help of the gift pack I would be able to give it a 5 star rating :)

I actually thought I was going to like this game. Even after I figured I'd need to grind 30+ runs to upgrade 1 card 2 levels. Then I realized that there was energy. So if you want to seriously play this, be prepared to burn through 20$ a day or so? Umm... no thank you.

I would be compelled to award the developer with a reboot of the original PC port if it weren't a literal copy of the previous game's design, buy-ins, and grinding atmosphere.

Decent game, but its a mobile port gone awry... No tool tips, energy (honestly what idiot decided to keep energy in a PC PORT?!?!?) and massive amounts of "buy currency or die" shit..

how are you supposed to win any matches against paying players? my cards take 4 turns to be active their 1 my cards have 10 health their 20 to 50 with some kind of superpowers too my attack 1 to 4 their attack 3 to 6 even the tyrant war metal wasnt that big pay to win i could actually get some wins from time to time but here not a chance unless i throw money (that i dont have) at it. good concept but poorly executed just go and play hearthstone u might even have some fun while playing and its cheaper too.

Looks like they sacrificed a lot of the quality of the game to make it fit for the mobile platform. Signs of a mobile game: big interface elements, lots of money-grabbing tactics, simpler gameplay. Rather than a sequel I'd say this is more of a Mobile adaptation. Back to the original I guess?

A not fun game with a obvious P2W system, discouraging honest play and rank progression. We all want to be rich but make the game fun as well. I suppose you the devs will find out where alienating the game core audience of the prequel will lead

I liked tyrant before it became a huge money grabbing game and even after it I still liked it. This new version though feels like it's only purpose is to grab money and not even care about the gameplay.
I am sad to say I won't play this game. Could have been a good game, but the blatant and I would even say corrupt money grabbing is just killing everything.
