Dear commenters, there is energy, we get it. No need to tell how much you hate it when there was clearly a purpose for it.

Y is this game here? this seems to be copied off of a Facebook Ap then anything else. if i want to play a few missions ill go there, this changes this from a 4/5 to a 3/5! why would i waste the money to pay for "energy refill" (2/5) when i can go play a card game such as Elements or something. If your gonna do something like this send a request for this to facebook.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@assassinbrad, i know this wasn't made by zynga, i know developers can do what they want with their games..i like this game but the energy bar is the stingiest thing i've ever seen outside of facebook. yes they deserve to get paid but they shouldn't have made this game with the energy bar how it is.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
dude fix the regeneration thing! my card has it but it only comes back 2 times, if lucky... the enemys regeneration card comes back about 10 times in a row! wdf man! why wont it die!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
meh, getting boring now, having to wait for the energy to recharge all the time... and the missions get easy. the developer has stolen some of the things from the cards, like the Quad walker is the Mammoth MKII from CACTS, and the Artemis tank is from Dune 2000, which aint cool
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@hektikbeatz no, wasnt made by zynga, and just because a game is on facebook, doesnt mean it cant be on kong aswell, game developers can do what they want with their games
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wtf was this game made by Zynga?? no?? oh this isn't facebook?? get this game off kong then!! take your cheap ass energy bar somewhere else!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Screw this game.
In the nexus land, it costs 35 energy to start a battle. You usually lose. That's 35 minutes spent in a five minute battle. Even then, all the missions need atleast 3/3 to win. Making it take days to beat the campaign without effing spending cash.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Would you wait 15 minutes for a loading screen on a console? No. Then why must we wait 15 minutes between battles here? Stupid energy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only thing keeping me playing this game is the badges. I will keep coming back every 2 hours or so, play 4 or 5 battles, and leave to do some real life activities. Until the energy system is removed (or completely overhauled) I will not be back after the badges are complete and I certainly WILL NOT be spending $1.70 in kreds to refill my energy, nor buy cards! You've brought a 5/5 star game down to a 2/5 star because of your greed. It's a beta game at that ... way to go synapticon!

design change: can only deal damage to an opponent equal to remaining health of the opponent. this way a card that deals 6 damage but only 4 health won't get killed when attacking a 1 health card with counter
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
quite god game, better than most of the other card games,
but i feel a lot of these cards are stolen somewhere, for example, the Quad walker is the Mammoth MKII from Command and conquer Tiberian Sun, and the Aegis tank (i think) is stolen from one of the tanks in Dune 2000

So it's not loading the butcher mission for me. At all, on the second section. It gets to the battle then freezes... :/

Great game, but making people wait nearly two hours to play for five minutes is ridiculous. I can understand wanting to make money for something so much time was put into, (at least on flashy graphics,) but if ad revenue isn't enough, then selling special content should be. At least most other games that use an energy system let you upgrade your maximum amount.

Im hoping for future updates. (more cards, other classes, etc). Also, I agree what others have said, the energy issue has got to be fixed. Though Im not far in the missions, it still takes away far too much energy from the 100 energy total. Perhaps there should be a way to buy energy with gold? Also, it'd be nice if there were achievements or missions that earned you war bonds.
And it'd be super sick if the attacks for different cards had different effects/animations. Im not to fond of the gun animation, its bland.
Great game though. Lots of good potential.

I love this game, but many people will not. Which, of course, is why the idea of badges on this game higher than the easy badge = STUPID/UNNECESSARY! NOT ONLY does it lower the rating by essentially "forcing" people who wouldn't otherwise play this game to play for a long time, but the badges dont actually add anything to the gameplay. It isnt a game where the badges are overly skill based, anyone gets them eventually. WHY? I already have all the badges, in case anyone wanted to say "omg ur a noob whu just cnt get the badge lolz," but I really wanted to point out that badges on MMO games are retarded, stupid, unnecessary, and not fun. Stop badging these kinds of games. + if you agree so greg can see.

Just notice that the rate of this game went down. Guess it was mostly about the energy and how this game is about paying to be able to play it fully time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Decent game. I wish everyone would stop complaining about the energy thing. Do you think you are telling the creators anything they don't already know? For me, I would never even consider paying for this, so the idea just doesn't even occur to me. I see it for what it is; a game that I can play a few times a day and use what turns I have (not the first of its kind by the way). If that turns you away, then stop playing. But quit whining about how 'they expect us to pay for this' because I can tell you they probably don't. They know that more than half the people to play will never pay, but if they can get a few people to pay for 'virtual collectibles' then good for them. Everyone needs to make a living.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Geez, not another Facebook game on Kong. C'mon Kong, you should know by now that people only play them for the badges.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's a decent waste of time. I really like the artwork and theme of the game. The mechanics are simple enough, yet allow for a lot of variation. Like many, I dislike the energy limitations. They restrict playing the game and I for one wouldn't pay money just to reduce the cooldown. Reserving premium cards to warbond-purchase only or granting xp/faction bonuses to paying customers would seem more effective. I give it 4/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'd say that it was mildly entertaining for a while. However, this isn't facebook, and I really tend to disagree with the endless "pay me to keep playing a mediocre game because I'd rather make money than an epic that would make even Homer jealous" crap. That alone gets you a 2/5 in my book.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i agree with the energy system cause it makes game a bit more challanging but the prob is that
evry time you lvl up youre max energy dosent incress
1 energy per min is to long
we should pay gold for energy refills

Meh. Graphics are pretty, but for the most part, it's not a very good game. Stratagy is minimal, and what stratagy there is basically comes down to rock paper scissors; quality of cards seems more important then what cards you have. There's no real resource management, and most cards seem to have another card that's just strictly better then it that you could get if you paid for it. The campaign is painfully easy; at least, the first three worlds are, which is as far as I got before I got bored, and the AI seems to be quite weak, even with such simple decisions as "should I use anti-air units against air units" and such. Out of all the CCG style games I've played on kongregate, this is the weakest.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't begrudge the makers their desire to make a game free and then sell it to you after you've started playing - sure it's completely dishonest, but hey, why not give it a shot, right?
What bothers me is Kongregate creating badges that pretty much require that you pay for the game. Or that you spend a few weeks repeatedly paying for the 'hard' badge. Unless you wanna pay for it, that is. What's next? Badges for buying in-game items? "Avid Consumer!" (Easy badge, but grants 2,000 points) Spend at least 10 real-world dollars on this game through Kreds!

I've 12 years experience in Magic and others card games and THIS one is clearly a good one, it got potential...
BUT : special effects are too much random and sometimes completely dumb (i could have won one hundred time by targeting MYSELF!)
AND, f*ck that energy system ! war bonds are too much expensive (even Magic is cheaper!)
AND why no pvp ? because it's still a beta ? very expensive for a beta
2/5 for now
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Bizor: Lots of people play this game because it's fun (and it is), not only for the badges! They are really easy with some patience, which makes them possible (and that means it will never ever be impossible badges).
