Congrats! Who cares if it has badges or not, that doesn't stop you PLAYING the game. You all are just too pickey. Just too pickey. Who really cares if it has badges or not. WHO FREAKING CARES! There are hundreds of other none MMOs out there with badges, so stop complaining and go get THOSE. Gosh.

ok im starting to get into this game. its actually really good! the badges are rather easy to get, really not worth the complaints they get, and honestly the waiting periods are not too long so that the game gets extremly boring. great game, admins take a LONG time to answer any questions, but overall, great, good game:)

One work of advice. On your first playthought do NOT do really well. This was my first playthrough, I was playing on Fantasy 1, and I had topped the charts as the most powerful character bit a significant margin. At the beginning of the 5th day I was banned by Seth (the admin). Basically he said no noob could do so well his first time wihtout cheating.
It isn't a hard game if you put time to it. Indeed the ingame achivements give you in game bonuses when you get them (so there is a sort of advantage you have if you are doing this your first tmie, as you get more bonuses vs experienced players who have already gotten their achievements).
Not usually a fan of MMO, but good game. Poor adminstration. Would have rated this game high but for the admin. So need to give it a 1/5.

uh guys who dont want mmo badges and want greg to read your comment to remove it.... the kong mods hardly read comments... go to the forums or just keep your thoughts to yourself because we get the point that you dont want badges, we dont need nonstop spamming to learn what you are trying to say...

I miss the days when this game didnt had badges, and fags werent spamming comments of "Dont put badges on MMOs!". Ok, badges in MMOs are bad, we got your freakin point, now shut up! Besides, youre lucky this doesnt has a hard badge like Heroes of Gaia or Sacred Seasons! In fact, HoG has 2 HARD BADGES AND I DONT SEE ANY1 COMPLAINING THERE.

Stop complaining about the badges, its your choice what you game you play. If you don't like them, have a petition to have them removed, because noone on Battle dawn really cares how you feel about the game. So go do the petition or don't try for the badge and complain about it.

I agree, I hate the rising tendency to add absurd badges to MMOs. Heros of Gaia, Caesary and recently SacredSeasons2 all take EONS to get, EONS of grinding. These badges here are okay. Doable within a few days, with reasonable effort, and not really beeing able to get stopped just because some random guy got a pick on you.

A game has badges because a lot of people play it, not the other way around. Play the game if you like it, and don't play it if you don't like it. The badges are just extra, and you should be grateful that Greg even added badges to any games. Maybe he likes this game, so stop being rude!

Agree with kingisle555, didn't mind getting conqured as it allowed for time to work on medium badge. Checked on stuff last 3 days and finished badge.

Really simple just for badges. Easy badge just follow the tutorial and medium, go to a place that like just started getting ticks and every day you'll get like a bunch of resources. LOL EASY MEDIUM BADGE!

to all the people saying this game takes no skill wat so ever to get the badges well your right on that but the badges gegt more players into the game and if you havnt realized they want you to continue playing the game. dont be one of those people who just go for badges actually play the game and see if you like it... if you hate if dont keep spamming the comments about it just leave

So usually MMO's with badges suck... this one is pretty good, but it still gets one star because We need to make a statement that every new MMO should not get badges.

Quickest way to get badges:
Join a newly reset server, with a low tick rate (<500 ticks at 2 ticks/hr or something).
Blast through the tutorial, this should take a matter of minutes.
Build troops until you have 10 of each for the first badge. (You may quit at this point, the next badge takes a while).
First off, build gold and lumber production things (the second 2 lines in structures), your priority is maxing these out.
Now, each day, on your castle, click tokens then free tokens, click all of the links and vote for battledawn at each site.
Every 24 hours you repeat this you will net 24 tokens, when you have 100/130, spend them on gold and lumber. Within a few days you will be able to max out every building. [+] this to help other badge hunters.

Looks this game isn't for everyone some people hate it for this some people love it for that but people need to know to some people this game is good. I know this will probably be getting the minus sign since alot of people who don't like this game are trolls. Not all just some.

@95 Wave MMO is Massive Multiplayer Online. Is it a massive Game? Yes. Is it Multiplayer? Yes. Is it online? Yes. Therefore, it is an MMO. It can also be an RTS as well. It can be both. MMO is it's platform, RTS is it's game style.
