Restarting Chrome fixed the speed (it was on about a third speed I believe, but the timer was still in sync for some reason). My apologies.

I just played Give Up 1 and completed it without too much hassle (died 200 times or so?), however, Give Up 2 seems to be so much slower (Both enemy projectiles and player character) that it seems like it's almost in slow motion (Compared to Give Up 1). The timer was just fine and my CPU is on like 2-3%, so it's not like there's any FPS issues (Even tried setting from high to low to see if there's any difference, just in case).
Give Up 2 is really not for me while I thoroughly enjoyed Give Up 1. A shame.

Pretty good, but it has two issues.
1. The lasers don't go back to their original position immediately after you go behind some cover, unlike in the first game. This is extremely annoying to some one who has played the first game, and is used to them doing that.
2. The blood looks like chunky ragu.

This is way worse than the last one. Atleast after some tries you could get trough, and there was a smooth learning curve but here I gave up at FLOOR 9.

The last one at least felt fair. This doesn't. Things have appearance that poorly reflect their hitboxes, it's annoyance of constant death is multiplied many times over having to sit there and wait for bats to slowly drift up and down, wait for flames, wait for shockers, wait for blades...then I get most of the way through, die, then do it all again. At least the last game was rapid pace; you were almost never standing around, and dying never set you back far, there were no absurd winding hallways. Also, claiming the saws or axes don't matter is ridiculous. Waiting for an axe to slowly spin around or a saw blade to move changes the entire dynamic of the level. This is just frustrating and unfun, and the theme makes no difference to me. To me the "Look how hard!" route games sometimes go is gimmicky and an excuse not to have to worry about making any of it enjoyable. I'll give it a 2 or 3 for graphics and fairly smooth play, but as an actual game this is pretty worthless.

(Before playing Give Up 2 for the first time) HA!!! You didn't make me give up last time, what makes you think this time is any different??

how to win on harder levels: do it one short bit at a time, watch whats going on over the whole screen till you see a good opening then go for it. i found it works.

Game's controls are just WAY too loose and sloppy for the precision required to pass the levels. Rather than feeling challenged, I just feel frustrated by the game getting in the way of my enjoyment.

Unresponsive controls and no timing resets on traps, making each try for each level different? Did Tasselfoot take lessons in Bad Rats school of game design?
