floor 3: It'll take more than invisible platforms to make me GIVE UP!
a few floors later, I can only see the platform because it's the only area not covered in my blood. This game is more creepy than I expected.

Was it only my controls that were laggy as heck? It messed up the controls so badly, I just wanted to go back to play the first one instead...

Having some of the traps/enemies being reset while others aren't is a burden. 1 because you are not able to do the stage by "memory" and 2 because sometimes you have to just stand there and wait until everything get in position otherwise it is impossible to do it.

Wonky controls, bad visuals and buggy lasers. Bad Leveldesign espacily in the second "Stage", just annoying and no challenge. You're better off playing I wanna be the guy.

the saws that go TRHOUGH THE FLOOR and the elecetricity WALL are game breaking because its hard already to reach it and if its on you will lose many times

The real problem I have with this game is that whenever you die, all the guns, bats, electric floors, and fire jets get their timings reset, but none of the sawblades or axes do, making whether or not the room even has a possible configuration almost entirely luck.
Really only matters on 29/30, and maybe on some of the higher 30s levels. But I do hear you and do understand this sentiment. Unfortunately, at this point, we aren't going to be making any changes to gameplay. Maybe for Give Up 3!

Well, while the first game was a fair and frantic minimalistic platformer, many additions in this game make the game more slow and tedious (looking at you, bats.) This is not entirely fair from a game that is supposed to make players quit fairly. But it's still good, and yes, I took that damn cheeseboard.

If I click double jump, I expect the game to double jump. Force difficulty from intelligent design, not flawed and/or delayed mechanics/

The difficulty curve is poorly developed. Some of the earlier levels were much harder than the later ones, and vice versa.

corner cannons in 19 and 20 are really annoying. they could be a bit more fair (i find it difficult to move predictably around them meaning I just apply a "this works most of the time" pattern to them and it often feels like chance rather than skill when i do get by them. also, 20 adds nothing to the top half of 19, meaning when you get half done 20, you feel like you already did this.
minor stuff, but stuff nonetheless
You can try low quality. Or going to the Game tab (instead of chat) to try and reduce lag. I've also noticed, on occasion, Skype can cause minor lag. Hope that helps!

Would be nice if you got different rewards for giving up at different points in the game. I don't want a 15$ chessboard for giving up at 2% or 90%

glad to see the sequel here on kongregate... Unfortunately during the time it was on armor games I gave up... a few levels away from the end. Fun and hard game, not recommended for casuals.

Tasselfoot told me to promote this game while it was still under judgment. I resisted him for a while, but then I guess I just sort of... gave up.
