I wish slowing the simulation down actually slowed it down instead of murdering the framerate and making it impossible to do anything.

When I try to make a stable ecosystem using Herbivores, Carnivores, L.H.s, and Omnivores, I find that after a while LH's end up dominating in the hundreds as the other species dwindle, and omnivores die out. Instantly.

this really needs a larger world: then you'll be able to see a group hunting another group and dying off uf the're not fast enough and one group of the same species behaving completely different than another group because the practically live in another environment

It's so easy to make a stable ecosystem:
Release herbivores in the middle.
Wait till the square you released them on grows back.
Release predators there.

2 put some predatords
and there you have it a ballanced ecosystem

Step 1: Make some Amoebas

Step 3: Put anything else other than more amoebas

I'm having trouble maknig an ecosystem. The Carnivores kill off too quickly, killnig all herbavores, causing them to die out. Help Please?

Suggestion: Make a bacteria that the player can control. It gets old watching microorganisms eat each other all day. Good concept of the game. Its got potential.

I dont understand the amoebas, but I know they keep a pretty stable ecosystem when they blast out my bacteria again xD
