I said ''that's a great game'' and gave 5/5. Because it was fun and that leader board just keeps you playing. An hour later, I played it again, this time with the mouse sensivity function. A day later, i could set my speed at start and lots of bugs were gone. And still, lots of comments are being considered. It's good to see a responsible developer. :) There are still some bugs though, like some dissappearing obstacles. Anywan, again, a great game.

Whoever came up with the idea of starting at a higher speed is a genius. But on that note, I would think it logical that once you reach X00 you start at X00(ex. reach 801, can start at 800), not needing to get to the next hundred to get the previous hundred(ex. reach 800 start at 700). On another not the "accept" button in the options menu seems to be a bit buggy. To get it to register my mouse needs to be actually a little above or below it instead of directly on it.
As the game is still in development I'm sure a lot of the ways I do things will change, I'm certainly taking on board all the suggestions :) So I'll revisit the 'initial speed' thing sometime :) As for the Accept button, I just noticed it's broken so will fix soon :D

My only other complaint, is that once i break 1000.. I notice im catching edges.. 3-4 dot widths off of the actual edge of the obstacle.. Obviously this is hard to deal with at high speeds and rendering persay "Hit Boxes" But outside the Random Dead ends, Turns that lead into forced obstacles.. (sharp turn with a rotating object, the opening being on the inside/hidden part of the corner) Love it.. very addictive (Currently Rank 31) and suffering from "One More Level Syndrome"
It's hard to see how wide your 'self' is in the game, so that may be the issue - believe me I'm playing it over and over atm to sort these issues out :)

@nikopol & silmarilen - I have seen something very similar to what nikopol describes. Very rarely I see what looks like a solid red barrier ahead of me, then it disappears and something else (or open space) is there. Rarely, but only seen at high speeds (700+), a corridor suddenly changes shape and color. I have crashed because of this - usually from surpise than because it was directly ahead. We probably all play with different sorts of computers, as well as maybe different quality settings - perhaps that affects various visual differences for each of us?

@nikopol: that one about the blue rooms is not true, i never had that problem. maybe your reaction speed just isnt high enough. everybody has a limit.

"current rank" during a game seems to be off by one if your current score is higher then your best. You end up with your current rank wrapping around to 6535(current bottom rank) if you're current score is better then number 1.

Note to dev: after 800 rendering errors show up sometimes: like a red obstacle mixed with blue and black, or a completely black (invisible) obstacle which I can't see till I actually hit it.
Anyways I love the game.
Couple of comments: would be nice if you could put a limit on how many turns in a row are rendered cause I end up at 900+ speed with like 4 turns in a row and in the same general direction which put me and my mouse in a position which no mouse sensitivity can help.
Also, after 900, in the blue rooms it becomes too hard to tell the difference between the first panel and the one after if they have different openings, so it would be great if you could do something to increase visibility.....like making consecutive panels in 2 shades of red rather than just the one that's in now.
Well, that's it for me for now, made it in the top 150 so I'm currently satisfied. will try to get into the top 100 later (my eyes need rest). Cheers

Oh wow, I love this new improved version MUCH better than the last, and I loved the last!
Here's my new feature request - I want to be able to click a mouse button and stop accelerating. I know that is... iconoclastic for Accelerator game! But here's the thing - each of us has an approximate speed that pushes our skills to near the breaking point. As is, the game flies us through that point and ever onwards - we soon crash. But if we could stop the speed increase and just sail onwards at our own personal sweet spots - the addictive quality of the game might be increased for a good number of players, including myself. Competitively, this would not hinder score rankings - you already reached the score you choose to stay at, so you have already "won" that ranking, and just dont improve until you click again and start to speed up again. Thanks for considering the idea! And for all the incredible changes you've already made to this sweet game!

ROFL I was at 459MPH then my mouse hovered over Firefox and the window popped up b/c its Win7 and I crashed. AWESOME GAME.

4/5, fantastic concept and fantastically executed. I find this probably too fast-paced for me, especially after 800 speed.

omg...stop deleting our records please -.- its getting really annoying i finally got 700 something and its gone i was almost under 1000 >.> other than that it'd be great 5/5 your lucky its not 4/5 cause of score deleting
Thanks for your honesty! Unfortunately because the game balance is changing occasionally, sometimes the scores need clearing to make it fairer. I'll fix this soon, and also probably have daily scores as well as all-time :)

hey tenebrousp i know i've commented before but i really liked that speed start thing. went from about 820 to 949 as #218! also youre probably the best developer i have seen. you respond to nearly all comments and update several times. plus you have made the best unity game i have seen (and one of the best kongregate games). hope you win the 2 contests and make some more epic games and updates!
Oh good idea! But I'll sort something out tomorrow cuz I'm tired haha :P - Actually on second thoughts I might do this on my blog... oh, decisions decisions!

sorry for posting so much but i do have a suggestion, I was thinking you could create a mode where you would always be doing a barrel roll (q/e are purposely stuck). I could be an "Insane" mode. hope you make good use of this :) I expect even greater things of this game in the future
A few people have suggested this, and it sounds quite fun so I'll add that as a mode probably, or maybe even sections of tunnel which do this to you :)

BUG: I've only seen this at high speed (900+, with and without the starting speed option), sometimes obstacles will appear out of place. Ive had the 9 circle obstacle appear with only the top 3 circles showing out of the bottom of the tunnel, and Ive had the blue room appear with what seems to be multiple red obstacles inside each other, possible resulting in an impassable wall. I think this might be a loading bug at high speeds.
It's where two tunnels overlap - I'm actually trying to resolve that now :) Also there's a but I introduced in 1.0.5 whereby on a second playthrough some parts of the previous tunnel are left around.
