Two games of the new, reloaded, version have ended from "oddities", which perhaps are new features? There's occasionally "Stuff" in the passageway at around 650ish speed (I was starting at 100). The first death was from a totally sealed passageway, there was a normal square red barricade with a blue wall behind it (the wall beside it was black). The second weird death was to a new-to-me rounded black projection that protruded about 2/3 of the way into the corridor. It was solid, ran into it to verify that ;p

bugs happen. btw telling people to refresh doesn't always work if they dont look at the top of the page and cant refresh too see the comment you should just say something like found and fixed. also the loading is a little buggy. i crashed into a wall that was from the track splitting. try to make this impossible b something like you only an crash from hitting the inside on the tack or making the track go away faster.

Exploring interesting bugs (and then reporting on them) is itself a form of game too! Thanks for the mutually unplanned and uncharted adventure, as well as your continued work on the game and the community you are creating around it!

One last semi-reliable means of triggering this bug, spamming pause during the initial countdown (which does not pause the game) can sometimes cause the straight corridor to disappear, leading you straight into the northing. Turning to try and return to that corridor once you can move is -very- hard to do, possibly impossible, the best I could do was find "some other" corridor, sideways to my flight path (and not possibly my original tunnel on my original heading!) which disappeared as I neared it (about 1 second from impact into the side from outside) and gave me the no escaping message that ends the blackness.

More evidence that the escaping bug relates to previous tunnels, or some error in drawing new tunnels - After additional plays of turning around as often as possible, I managed to turn around and "escape out of" a tunnel immediately after reentering it. This turned that tiny section of tunnel (how to measure? About 1 second of movement at 200 speed, abouts?) into a single space of color suspended in a universe of blackness. I sailed through it, turned around, sailed through it, until about 630 speed, then successfully crashed into it's wall and died with a normal, score-enabled ending.

OK, after some experimentation, it appears that this escape-during-countdown glitch always happens when I set my starting speed to the maximum possible, and sometimes when I set my starting speed to 100-300 less than max.

Hmm i seem to be stuck at the beginning of 800 because i keep loading out of the tunnel with an all black screen. Hope it gets fixed.

Am also seeing something new, that may be bug-ish - am turning around repeatedly, flying into and back out of the nothing, and am starting to see small (about the size of our "ship"? Maybe barely larger) black squares - mostly sqares, looks a bit like a square made from "Lincoln Log" toys, the corners are not flush but extend past the junction. They are floating in space, and attempting to ram one sends my ship through it unharmed.

I seem to be automatically escaping during the starting countdown when I set the starting speed to certain numbers. I'll try and work out which numbers it is.

Starting from very slow speeds and turning around, nearing but not hitting the walls seems to tend to trigger it. I managed to "fly into" the dark area a bit, turn, see, and then re-enter the original tube I left, it had this large opening into "the nothingness". a few seconds later I hit the wall while trying to turn again - but it was a normal death and not a no escaping error.

I am occasionally getting the no escaping bug even while starting a game, just got it now on speed 100 during the three second starting countdown - before any walls could be run into because we cant turn yet. Hypothetical cause - we are somehow entering tunnels created from previous plays? My first play of the new version played from speed 100-900ish without triggering it once, but I am getting it a lot ever since.

I seem to escape most often I'm moving too quickly and run into a wall at too steep of an angle. The turn sections are the worst for this. I've also escaped in the turn sections by taking the turn too sharply, and running into the inside of the bend.
Also, the blue rooms went from being the easiest rooms, to just about the hardest since I last played. Quite evil of you. *Shakes fist*

Too much tinkering with a great idea. I liked when everyone had to start from zero. Now the game is just who can keep going for 30-35 seconds. A bit boring.
Enjoyed the game much more with just the mouse sensitivity added. All of the updates after that point seem to be unnecessary. Keep it simple, man. ;)
Thanks for your comment :) It's certainly evolving as I take on board everyone's comments, so I'm sure it'll settle down into something agreeable to everyone soon :)

at about 890speed the game jumps me out of tunnel and I can't see where I'm supposed to go and then it kills me and tells me no :(

so... here it is:patch needs some major polishing (been getting those no escaping non stop), hmm you should change it that after a turn the player would get at least a sec or 2 to recover because you really cant see whats coming and its really hard to play like this (makes the game based on luck). last thing is that you need to re-mute each you go to another window\tab so either change it or get some decent ambient music for crying out loud. but over all (once again) this game is so much fun and never have i returned to a game that much. my 5/5 has been long given... and way beyond this game, getting responses from the creator is like a fresh summer breeze. thank you!

"You can now set your initial speed to the highest multiple of 100 you reached" - This is a bad idea IMO, it means that all you have to do is get 100 down the tunnel and then rinse and repeat. I think starting point should be capped at 1000. But its up to you :D

So this is the game that really makes me wish there was a 4.5 star option on the rating. I don't want to give it a 5 because it isn't really my cup of tea, but a 4 just feels too low :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The new version seems to have some collision problems , I escaped 4 times now without trying.. around 1000 speed and mostly in turns if I remember correctly.

LOL I wish I could program this good... Most complicatid thing i've programmed is Tic-Tac-Toe in Visual Basic. :P AND It's exe so I cant upload it. *sigh*

I would prefer a dot or something a little more simple and a little less Nazi looking http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wehrmacht Thanks for the quick response! You're amazing!
I'm 0.01 and 1 day less than 3 weeks away from winning $3000 - but I am honestly trying not to think about that. If other people vote Spectromancer up over Accelerator then that means it's players think it's a better game, and I am certainly not one to take that away from fighter106. So right now, all I want to do is listen to all your feedback, plan some neat things I hope you'll like, and focus on the game :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
LOL You can get about 100 free speed by setting it to follow mouse, and high sensitivity, and putting the mouse at the very bottom. you just go in circles! (Maybe this should be fixed?)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i don't know how hard this would be to implement but it would be really cool if you could see the people's names who's scores you are passing on the walls as you beat them.
