Bruh, even the demo is already fulfilling. I don't know how much the full game would be. I'll buy it full price when I have the chance. That is, probably a year or two. Damn.

This game could top in *Top 10 Online Games of 2020* well you know, since flash is going down in 2020... Already downloaded the game, but any way, the thing with this game is, that, first it seems small, and kinda boring, but then just after you pass the first 3 nights, it became's fun and addictive, and as you progress through the game, the game expands into multiple islands and /from what I have heard even galaxies/ , about that, was new or bonus in the paid version?
I'm glad you think Aground could be a contender for the top of 2020! Aground is HTML5, so it should not be affected by the end of Flash. The web version is the same as the demo, which includes the first 3 islands. Everything beyond that (including travelling between planets) is only in the paid/early access version.

Terra0nova I know that you need to make money for the studio, but could you have a sale for free for like a couple days because it's almost Christmas? I would really appreciate it, and i'm sure that other people would to. Thanks you.
We are participating in the winter sale this year, but the game will not be free during it (nor will we ever give away our game for free - we spent years of hard work on it, and it's worth more than that).
The downloadable version has the same content as the web version, but you can download it here: https://fancyfishgames.itch.io/aground if you want to play the game offline.

I'm over here now trying to get all the achievements for the game. I defeated both bosses and have full cyborg armor, but WTF is a golemech and where is the dragon armor.
When we launched the early access version a little over a year ago, we stopped adding free content/bosses (we still add updates with bugfixes and new features though). There's a lot of new stuff in the Kartridge full version if you want to take a look!

"I'm afraid we can't let you stay here until the power comes back on" but we'll skip the night for you anyway, because that's how hotels work. You go in there and poof! The night's over. Sure, you'll still feel tired af but at least the night's gone

in my opinion full game is kinda short the demo seems to be almost half of the game and it gets more tiring late game
You probably changed the difficulty mode to one that gives less skill points per level. You won't lose your current skills, but you won't be able to get new ones until you leave the negatives.

"I'll try this for probably just a few minutes" I had thought to myself, after a long, long while later :D I found myself wanting to get this game on steam when I get back home. I enjoyed the theme of the gameplay I have seen so far.

Thanks, Terranova. I'm using Kartridge now and loving the game. I guess I'll just have to ask for it for Christmas ;)

I played this yesterday, slept in the hut (saved?) and today all my save slots are empty. it looks like a fantastic game but I'd like to play it a bit more before buying the full game - partly to check that saves are working! Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?
I can't actually see how to get to save/load/quit controls from in-game. Is that because it's a demo?
Saves in the web version depend on the browser - they can easily be cleared by accident (or if you switch to a new browser/were playing incognito). Try the downloadable demo on kartridge, itch.io or steam - that keeps the saves on your hard disk and are much less likely to be lost. You can also use Aground Cloud or the import/export function in the options menu to have backups in case your browser loses the saves.
Kartridge has a demo (which is the same as the web version), and a greatly expanded early access version which will transition to a full launch early next year.
