The Greek did have great stories, didnt they. I was really annoyed at that last part. I'm one of those look back jumpers to center the jump type jumpers. That restarted me many times.

I just noticed that this game was based on one of those Greek myths (cereberus the dog is here, though he should have three heads). The idea was that a musician (forgot his name) was devasated at the loss of his wife and risked his own life to save her in the underworld. Hades told him to not look back at her else she would not be able to leave the underworld, but he did anyway out of worrying that she was not following him.

Difficulty - child's play: Trial and error to the point of absurdity. It isn't so much "hard" to beat the final boss, so much as you just have to repeatedly do the same thing until you (through luck) kill him.
Concept - quite interesting: I like the idea of 8-bit graphics, it's quite a refreshing look at gaming.

Not nearly responsive enough for the challenges presented. Music is ok, can even accept the collecovision graphics, but when there's significant delays in player movement and the AI is moving so quickly, it's basically luck when you finally pass a number of the screens. 3/5

I hate this game with a violent passion! I don't care how great the storyline is or isn't (I haven't finished it yet), but the gameplay is so horrible that it has me roaring in frustration. 1/5 so far. Maybe 2/5 if the ending is as good as everyone claims it is.

I wonder if this is a bug or intentional. But on the black level if you climb up the left hand wall and walk around for a bit, then walk right you can skip past most of the levels (right past the badge as it happened). :) Cool game though

this rmeinds me of a legend a flute player lost his wifes life so he went to the underworld and made a deal and she was there but he could not turn around and if he did she would disappear.

Great game. I thought the game was very fun, well executed a good difficulty level and a great concept. The second half was just a brilliant idea that I'd never seen before. My only complaint was that I would've like a bit more of an ending, but still a great work. First platformer I've played and enjoyed in a long time.

I particularly love the feature that if the game loses focus it auto-pauses. Nice touch on a nice game - perfectly sets out what it tries to accomplish (in music, controls, story) - my only regret is that it doesn't try to do more :)
