I found something out! When you tap/click to harvest, you don't get the harvesting bonus. However, if it's harvested automatically, you do get the bonus.

Please DON'T remove the big rocks (500mil). I don't understand why people want these out, they are by far the best way in the entire game to get gems.

Love the game, but the 500M rocks are a major wall! Even with grinding out levels this is a crazy hurdle to overcome. Good work overall though and I appreciate the quick bug fixes and updates. Keep up the good work Dev.

Game balance at town level 13 and up is out of whack. Each new days, it takes me 2 secs to get all the gold I'll need but forever to smash the large rocks even at maxed pickaxe. And the worst part is smashing rock is require active play. So the game is not idle anymore

Enjoying this game a lot, and looking forward to seeing what else you do with this game.
Some quality of life things i would like to see...
1. extra options for upgrading, instead of "max" really being "next bonus", have a "next bonus" and a "max" that spends all your money on that plant.
2. after a couple of friend levels, make it so we don't have to click "automate" and just have them start helping.
3. a "buy all" button for the magic seed shop

I think other people have mentioned this, but after 12 time shards, you can't immediately see how many time shards you have (you have to check daily tasks)

@simple56: Actually, you can sort of figure out the optimal crop layout without a gold/s counter. The pixie always rewards you with an amount of gold based on your passive gold/s. Every time you test a new layout, catch the pixie; if the gold reward is higher, that means the new layout is more efficient.

Why is this not good? Because removing my effective x16 speed bonus (2 sprinklers + full grid + Codex) would only cut my profit by 60%.

There should be a tool tip to indicate what is the multiplier given by the "major" level up, makes it easier to decide if we should spend money on upping a crop x25 or just upping a higher tier crop by 2.

So after being afk for about 4h I got 100 clicks worth of gold. Usually Idle games have to nerf the amount of gold earned while afk, but here it needs a buff and a big one. Both online and offline, because at this point there is nothing really Idle about the game. I suggest upgrades to gatherers. (more than their "Friend Level Up's")

Character tasks use same counter as daily tasks. So if i have 1500/2000 corn done and new daily task appears to get 2500, it resets character count to 0 too.

The progress value for the task relating to obtaining certain amount of gold is store in the same place for each friend and main task. If you already have a task for obtaining gold and you get another one from another friend/main task, then your progress is reset, rather annoying. I'm unsure if this is the case for all tasks, as I've only taken notice of it with the gold ones.
Heya Shano1321. Yeah, this is a really frustrating bug. It will happen any time you get a new task of the same type. We are working on a fix for it and will patch it as soon as we can!

After reaching 12 time shards they stop fitting into the placeholder and only 11 shards are displayed, without any indication of the total shards amount. This doesn't seem like a feature, and I'd like to see how many shards I've got.

Really enjoyed this, for a while...but the "town level" has increased so quickly that the cost to actually do a reset is essentially unreachable at this point. I've left it for like 24 hours now and not even getting 10% of what I need. Progress essentially stalled. My next step appears to be "forget this game and come back in a couple weeks and see". Or, hard reset and try doing it different.
Heya Nynniva! Thanks for taking the time to write out some feedback for us. Getting 1000s of users to try IdleHarvest has made us realize that our soft reset system is not working as we wanted to. The intention was to have it scale and be a soft wall to hit, not something so drastic. Thanks to all of your feedback, we think we have a better solution to this, but it is going to take a few days before we can patch it in. If you do decide to step away from Idle Harvest, we hope you check back in frequently as we are working hard to roll out patches quickly to address the feedback we are getting from you.

Some more quality of life improvements: Make an "Automate all" button, and "Buy all"/"Buy all available" in The Magic Seed shop. Or maybe after a certain town level just make them permanent upgrades. It should save some time later in the game. (It's not a money problem to buy carrots when I have tomatoes, it just wastes time)

You can click rocks at roughly 10/clicks per second to mine them without losing stamina (the clicks/second could be a different number), but activating a (dirty filthy cheating) autoclicker drains stamina, these two mechanics doesn't seem internally consistent? Holding down the mouse on a rock still drains stamina. - Ps you can still us an autoclicker, just set it to a slower pace, like say 10 clicks/second.

theres 3 changes the game needs imho. 1. corn balancing. 2. stone health balancing (at least the last one) and 3. friends need to be WAAAAY faster. totally useless starting at the blueberry. i gave it a 5 out 5 instead of a 4, because the orn rush at the end was satisfying. if you remove that you need something else at the end, like a super pickaxe upgrade that multiplies crit even further.

So my strawberries are supposed to give "1.21B" gold, and Avery is supposed to increase this by "200%" (or +200%? the interface have a tiny + :S). Anyways, Avery only generates 1.81B which reflects a 50% increase. I don't math often, but this feels wrong ;)... ALSO, I have 0 in the strawberry income upgrade (codex of strawberry sweetness) -

fun little game. took me 2 days to clear (playtime around 10h). once you get to the x7 corn profit multiplier the game finishes itself. that with the x2 corn multiplier will guarantee that you can always reach the next 10-corn-step. i could grind out diamonds and buy all upgrades, but theres no reason to, as i already have more money than id ever need. the only negative thing is that the last smithy upgrade does not provide a good damage bonus for the pickaxe. basic damage is 13-15k, crit is 1.2-1.5 million. at 500m hp it takes about 380 crits to clear a big rock. by now my field is almost full of them, cause even with an auto clicker it takes AGES to take out one.

When placing a plant, I sometimes loose it when dragging - I think it's because of the lag we have.
But instead of the grid being put back to the menu it just stays where it was. I don't loose it, I can pull it again from the menu. But it stays there and blocks the screen. Even after starting a new day it's still there. Only thing that helps is a reload.

So, I collected some gold for Avery but then, I've unlocked a new quest for collecting gold with Rosemary and all my gold from Avery's quest disappeared. Black magic ? Well, kind of, I guess.

The first friend-skill of the strawberry gal says "200% harvesting gold", but she's not actually giving me that number when I harvest.
Right now shes harvesting for 897k, when my strawberries give 519k naturally...?

I had a x2 bonus on my farm from what I assumed to be having 2 carrots and 2 strawberries on it, but I grabbed a strawberry and moved it and the bonus is gone. Maybe this is a bug

Nice game so far. I haven't noticed any bugs as of yet. I do have to say, though, that the 500,000 HP for the largest rocks seems very excessive to me. I've barely made a dent in just one of them. I've pretty much run out of space to plant crops because it's taking so long to just remove one of them.

I am town level 6 with all buildings at level 1. I need to upgrade them but i need 3 green coins, where as I have only one, cant get anyother.
Hi HakanO36. Time shards refresh when you start a new day. You can unlock new time shards from completing main tasks, reaching new town levels, and a purchase in Avery's shop.
