Okay I've upgraded all the graphics, when does it stop looking like a badly compressed .JPEG? Also disappearing drops, shame on you 1/5.

In my opinion this game is just a shade of what it could be. The gameplay and strategy is about 2/10, the uppdrages was nothing new from last game 4/10, chat logs+ending 7/10. If just the developer would have made a bigger effort trying to make the gameplay more innovative this could have been just as epic as the other ones.

By the end of the game you're basically flying around a giant gun.
Also, if the lightning gun was powerful in the previous games of the series, in this one it's just over powered. Simply load up on lightning guns, a few coin magnets and sit at the top of the screen until you need more hearts, grab some and repeat as necessary.

while i may have disliked the game itself, i most certainly liked the point that the author of the game was trying to get across. pay to progress games aren't games, but thats all that is being made anymore which is quite sad

Just like everybody else, very disappointed. 2/5 There seems to be a trend that third game in all series is the worst.

Very excited to see another upgrade complete, but I have to agree with other comments, somewhat disappointed in the difficulty (too easy) - I finished in about 25 minutes, only completed wave 17. I love the humor, the poke at micropayments, etc, just wish there was more content / longer upgrade paths. Also, and this is important, some statistics? I have no idea how much damage a level 3 Blaster does compared to a level 1 laser

all my life, i always knew i had some special instinct.... i found it.... i got the pointless upgrade first. also this is all over a bit of oil. like a pond of it. seriously!

take an original fun concept, then turn it into a lame, boring, childish commentary on something that we all already knew and had the same opinion on. Oh upgrade complete, how far you have fallen.

This was an alright game. There was no "wow" factor. For the most part, I just had to click on the upgrade buttons, wait a few seconds, and press the upgrade buttons. With the electric rod thing, it was impossible to lose. With no sense of urgency, and no real consequences for not playing well. This game didn't do well. I finished in almost 15 mins and only went to Wave 16.

The battle screen needs to be fixed as in locked in place. The zooming out/in is silly. I thought you would be able to upgrade it so you could see the whole spawn zone. Maybe add a sensor add on to the ship or just fix it so you can see the whole area.

isawrawr, the weapons can overlap each other.
I just finished the game. Decent, but nothing special. Sorry, but it was not as enjoyable as the first two. The money bomb starting at like level 17 seemed a bit out of place too, and seemed to only serve the purpose of ending the game.

I got stuck in a laser on the left side of the playing screen and that was it for me. Couldn't move, get hearts, GAME OFVER...

It took way too long for this to finally make its way to Kongregate, but now that it's here, I don't feel like it took long enough. Relies heavily on rehashing the same basic gimmick as the previous two games, but exchanges the game component for something much more tedious. And the plot is just... Okay, I get what you're saying, but ironic crap-posting is still crap-posting, guys. So I'm going to go ahead and give this a 2/5. I typically reserve 1/5s for games that are nonfunctional, since there's no 0/5 option, so that's basically as low as I can give.

Gotta agree with most of the other commentors- tried too hard to be cute/funny, and didn't pay enough attention to balance or game play. I really liked UC1 and 2, but this was a bit of a let down. Awful? No. Replayable? Nope, not really... and mixing in politics there at the end was sorta pointless. 2/5

Very disappointing compared to upgrade complete 1 and 2. This one had practically nothing new except for field of gameplay which wasn't even that good like the scrolling wasn't nice and the collection of hearts sucked. I would have liked to at least see the whole field to know where there are hearts. But I did like the easyness of the game, it was simple and relaxing

@densch there is no absolute right or wrong about pay-to-win, but most people prefer winning without paying as reflected in all the free games here. Obama is certainly a dick.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I somehow think that this is mostly a parody of many different things.
Be it the pay-to-win thing, that certain guy in the end scene which is presented as a nice guy but actually is the greatest dick I know, etc.
So I guess this is mostly a porady of many things that are not right in our world.

loved 1 and 2, but this version is just crap. First the unskippable "FTOE" and then gameplay. One really needs to see the whole screen. 1 Star, never play it again. Because of the first two games the devs have potential, but this game does not show it. Or anything.

@jhett123 all the video games that really reflect real-life-level difficulty are failures. people clearly prefer easy winning.

not sure what the message people are referring to, with so little details given. probably the message is "even obama needs an auto money sucking machine, so do you?"
