I ran into the problem as well. If you have the browser tab open and [for me close laptop, desktop probably sleep] it will pause the game. To get around it you have to close the game tab and then it will do a time-based estimation of progress.

Beat the game first, then start filling the museum with level 1 items and up. That way you can use the crafting boosts to complete level 10 items much faster instead of struggling through level 10 first.

@noekrb: I donated a level 10 Powerful Trinket. What do I get? It's probably just a bug that get's you nothing since you can't go back and donate level 1-9 trinkets.

I wonder if it's possible for someone to give someone else their savefile and that person getting all achievements instantly. Is there protection against that?

For some reason the game isn't working in the background. I came back to the game almost 5 hours later and the resources were increased by only 15 minutes worth. Also the fuses were still going and there were also barely any items made. Do you need to shut the game down and load the game hours later instead of going into standby and coming back later? Maybe that will cause it to calculate time correctly.

Did you know you can donate a powerful trinket to the museum? From the inventory page, click on your trinket, open the museum sidebar, and click the purple +0.

Ok, you know whats really frustrating? I farmed the double time option and whenever I close my browser it automatically goes off. So why did I farm it on the first place, then ? :)

Finally got the impossible badge! Took me 120 days. You need to be patient, because the last 4 levels are taking a while to collect the ressources. Very nice game, the esthetic is really well done, Kongrats to the devs!

You REALLY want to be careful with crafting trinkets. Set a timer to prevent creating too many because you can sell them back at WAY less money than you crafted them for. For example a level 10 trinket costs 6.7 BILLION gold while only selling for a worthless 500 gold. That's a 13.4 MILLION times reduction. Compare that to other games where you can sell back items for half or at worst 1/10th of the price you bought them for.

110 days, almost down to the last three sets, and I finished bat chunks way ahead of the other two materials because I only fully built the characters I planned to use in the final boss fight, most of which are in that team. Money's not really an issue anymore since everything's already been crafted, so I've been letting them continue while I build up the equipment on my characters with the bat chunks. Once that's done...I guess throw them at whatever's slowest and put the remaining characters on boss fights. Not sure what the fastest time is for hitting 100%, but I think my pace is pretty good.

Actually kind of enjoying level 10 with the museum. I'm nearing the end of the game, and I have plenty of time to craft all of the equipment I need at an easier pace. Definitely misjudged the amount of gold needed, though. Burned through half a trillion already and I'm not even half done.

The Museum Inspection tab should display the resource type and the amount needed and also the gold needed when hovering over a button. Maybe also gray out buttons if you don't have enough, just like how buttons are grayed out in the item menu on the left.

Boss 10 Defeated 29d 11h 49m 29s. Money was my biggest issue while getting gear. Eventually got enough to finish upgrading 4 sets of Epic +10 gear and L9 trinkets. Spent about an hour on boss trophies for a bunch of extra stats. Been crafting 4x Truth Teller and 1 Jaswstriker while afk for money and essence. Fusing to Epic and then desynth gives more essence than 3 rares or 9 uncommon, if you have the cash. Fortunes are definitely worth for epic gear when going for long afk.

Is it considered cheating to download a finished save file? Because I'm seriously considering that with the OUTRAGEOUS museum badge requirements.

100 days in, almost have the level 9 museum section done. Late game advice: If for whatever reason, you have heroes that aren't doing anything important and don't need gold, send a team after bosses so that you can boost your boss trophies. I had too many items to start a new set and didn't have anything in the material group they were working on, so I decided whatever improvements I could get on my team would speed up the material gathering.

If you're trying to beat The Goblin King, I used Neve, Beorn, Alok and Grim ALL with their MAXIMUM skill level with ALL level 9 equipment at +10. Oh yeah, you also need AT LEAST a level 9 Power Trinket on ALL of them. Seriously, TheCongressman, this is getting to be over the top ridiculous. As for adding 6000+ UNIQUE items to the Museum? Forget it! I haven't got the time for a ridiculous goal like that. Maybe if I was 2 decades younger I'd be able to complete it by the time I'm as old as I am now, but at my age,, I'd probably be in the grave from old age before I even approach that goal.

I really like the museum inspection tab. I can just donate an item of multiple forge levels immediately without first forging multiple times without even knowing what forge level I still need.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I haven't played in a while, but I gave it another go. I don't think there's a better UI in any idle or incremental game. Every time you want to interact with an item you can immediately equip it or sell it, there's plenty of auto sell options, and the game makes every opportunity to display the information you need.
I haven't gotten very far, but it's obvious a lot of work was put into the player's interaction with the game.

@Naud1234 Yes, the museum is extremely long to complete. I beat last boss after 55 days, now it's 100 days I'm playing and I finished to donate from level 1 to 8. The main issue is the ressources... Starting level 6, the ressources are very long to get, so it takes a while to forge everything. If I can give one advice, always enable the booster!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
They should have really made the museum available since the beginning instead of when you can craft level 9 items. I've already sold all items up to level 8 except level 8 epic items and now I have to craft one of each item again. And that would only be 1/11th anyway. You need to donate not just every rarity of every level of every item, but also every possible forge "level". That's gonna take extremely long and it's really annoying. One item of each rarity and level would be plenty. And being able to donate an item you no longer need would go a long way to completing it by just playing the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It'd be nice if the items get mastered automatically when the mastering cost reaches 0. Otherwise the game spends all night using resources (maybe even stalling) when it could be crafting the item for free with double odds for higher rarity.

I beat the 8th boss (Krakoptopus) with Beorn (1), Zoe (2), Neve (1) and Revere (2). Numbers are spellbook numbers. Only Beorn and Zoe died. I used level 8 epic items and a level 9 Healthy Trinket for Beorn and level 9 Powerful Trinkets for the rest.

game stats are a little wrong... it's reporting that my lifetime gold earnings are a bit over half of what i have.... on hand.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Something I would like to suggest is the ability/option to break finished items down for their base materials. So, you lose the item (and probably some gold), and get some amount of whatever material is used to make it. Amounts would probably vary depending on the rarity of the item (commons produce the least, epics produce the most).
It gets really grindy at the end; I am literally waiting HOURS just to get enough materials that I can forge/donate an item.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game starts off fairly fast, but ends up being a waiting game. I have it open and occasionally come back for a minute to fuse a few items or to craft different items. Although crafting different items is a hassle if my inventory has filled up and I have to decide what to sell.

Point of data: For me, from boss 1 defeated to museum/impossible badge completion was just under 92 days, with relatively moderate activity (higher early on). Takes awhile, but may be faster than e.g. idling to rule the gods impossible badge with similar activity.

Larger teams are always better in expeditions. With 8 heroes Forbidden Bookstore takes 4 days and 19 hours. With 4 heroes it takes 15,965 days and 11.5 hours! Almost 44 YEARS!!! That's a difference of 3,332 times with only double the heroes! ALWAYS use all your heroes if you don't need them anywhere else.

@knives New characters and playbook side quests are bought in the market. Complete the quests in the town's expedition center to unlock them. Once unlocked, you can choose what playbooks are being used in the adventure section when picking characters by first selecting the character, then clicking the button in the upper right part of their picture in the party section to see playbooks.

I have a question... I am at the final boss and a combination being recommended includes 'Cedric with Righteousness, Zoe with Meteor, Grogmar with Snipe, Troy with Rejuvinate' what are those and where can I find them?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Selling items to the merchant gets you double the gold, but if you need to forge something, you actually get way less gold if you include the cost to forge it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Naud1234 Yep. The museum does create a bonus, but I think it opens way too late in the game to be tremendously useful. I've already beaten the final boss, so I just have two level 10 items running on sell all while I forge one of each item that uses a drop type. Donations speed up my forging, and thus my income...but it would've been so much more useful early on to have somewhere to dump all of my hard work.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Instead of donating all the existing items, which you have to re-craft after being forced to sell them for inventory space, it would be better to give a badge for crafting all items once. Do you seriously have to donate all the different forge levels too for each item?

I decided to just leave the game running in the background to keep the trinket research going. Researching slowly is 10 times cheaper than researching instantly by the way.
