@KeeperBvK :: Oh, so you're simply going to ignore who actually implements badges on the site so you can keep blaming the devs? k
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Andreia: In "recipes" you can access all items. Also lower-level ones. As for your "hop order" question, I am not sure what you are asking. If you have chosen an item to supply to the merchant, and you don't have additional empty slots, then you first have to clear all orders before you can choose a different item.

1- My shop order is blocked, how do I remove the items I already have so the others can arrive?
2- I killed the lvl 5 boss without having all the lvl 5 items and it changed to the lvl 6 items. How do I go back to finish the lvl 5 items?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I killed the level 5 boss somewhat early, and didn't unlock the level 6 staff. Is there a way to go back and get it. for completion's sake, or do I just push on to level 6?

Nobody forced the devs to implement those badges. That's the correct POV. They decide to have the badges AND they decide on the requirements of the badges. Kongregate just gives a frame.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@keeperbvk, maybe they do, but it's not their fault Kongregate chose to use those two badges and they have the final say on which badges to use. You can blame the devs all you want, but they didn't force Kongregate to implement the badges.
This is correct, we made the badges within the guidelines kong provided (including quantity and mix of difficulty), but I have zero input on which badges kong uses as a carrot for their site promotions.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@daexion: That's simply not true. Just check this game's discord widget to see the developer himself confirm that the badges are made by the developers. Kongregae just gives out general guidelines.

There could be a "craft" button on the museum items... Or am I seeing something wrong? Because if there is not, i have to go back a craft every recipe manually? C'MON!

After 152 days, I finally got Completeonist badge. I might be only one who actually liked the museum. :D (tip: you can forge items through item's museum inspect side screen).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i just lost my saved data. I think i would be able to defeat boss 9 because all items lvl 9 and upgraded to lvl 10+9+8+7. Museum lvl 9 items completely covered already :( ....
im just sharing this is a FYI, do the export thing, or loose all like me.
Still liked the game a lot.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@akerson: Thanks for the reply. If teh museum was never meant to be completed, then why have 2 badges that require a whoppin' 6000 items to be donated, or even all items, respectively? Wihout these badges, it would be fine, honestly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
At first, I really thought you had a neat little concept here for an idle game. I could even look pat most of the many UI problems. E.g.why is it so difficult to find any item's flavor text? It should be a simple mouse-over for any menu. Or why is it not possible to see an item's type anywhere? Good luck figuring out that "Words" is a "Thrown" item. Or why does the mouse over for materials on the right side of the interface not show you the friggin' name of the material? Anyways, the real downer was to see that this game has you basically do the same thing for 160 items, just every level it takes longer. The final nail in the coffin was the museum. Doing the same stupid thing now 7,920 times? Who ever for even a fraction of a second thought this was agood idea? I consecutively lowered my rating from 4/5 to now 1/5.
Museum is meant to be a long term incentive that'll carry through the ascension system that hasn't been realized yet (due to some... Unforseen things that have come up in my life that are preventing me from working on it). The intent isn't/never was to complete it between tiers it was unlocked. I'll write down the UI suggestions, thanks for playing regardless!
Hi sorry! We aren't in control of this, and we use the same game save strategy (localstorage) as every other browser based game and this issue is only affecting kong users. My only recommendation is to use the other two forms of save backup just to make sure you've always got a revert when disaster strikes!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When you're done with the game, craft level 1 items. That pumps your item crafting numbers up way faster for a high score. Then come back like a month later to see the score.

Hi guys, lots of you have been reported losing your long term saves in F&F. Unfortunately, it's not clear to us why it might be happening - the game is stored in localstorage and that file is linked to our subdomain not kongregate, so I'm not sure what's causing it to happen. If this happens to you - DO NOT clear your progress. Hop on our discord and we can see if we can help you troubleshoot it. Clearing your progress will make it impossible to solve this issue.
As always, it's recommended to use the playfab system to backup your saves or just take period exports. Thanks friends and I hope you find forge and fortune!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Rackox :: even if you don't think you need a backup, you should make one periodically. It's just good practice to back data up.

Something to point out, if you have two of the same item in your inventory of the same grade but different forge levels, if you do not have one of them selected when donating to the museum, the game might eat both of them as a single donation possibly leaving you short one if you were crafting enough to fill the museum for that item. I noticed this happening multiple times as I've been crafting enough to fill the museum for that item before moving on to a different item while waiting for enough materials to donate the previous item to the museum.

@Steamos: Thanks a lot! Daexion sent me a PM with the same advice, and it's really a big one. It's making the museum so much more bearable. I wonder why the designers hid so many nice QOL shortcuts without ever pointing them out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@keeperBvK, for donating items to the museum you can simply open the "museum inspection" tab. You can find it in the overview on the right side where the crafting slots can also be found. Click on it and then on an item in your inventory. Now you can choose the forging lvl you want to donate on the right side, it will forge it for you automatically :D

Wow, those powered up boss trophies are strong! Thousands of HP or hundreds of attack! Beat those old bosses as many times as possible to get better trophies to make the final boss easier. Also don't start grinding for the museum until you beat boss 10 as fast as possible so you get a better time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Trophy Hunter Supreme Badge is easy once you are far enough in the game. I got it by battling 3 bosses as many times as I could without using a strategy. Let alone having to spread it out over 10 bosses. Just try to rebattle bosses as soon as possible to get the badge earlier.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game eats so many of my mouse clicks, it's really annoying...I am forging items for the museum, but pretty often I end up surpassing a required item level, because it wouldn't register me clicking on a different item. Oh, and the museum is a terrible idea in itself.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Powerful gear is obtained by synthesising an item increasing health. similarly, one obtains bulky items by synthesising an item increasing power. You can do so in the magical synthesizer.

@Naud :: The numbers are easier to read when they are abbreviated as opposed to when they are not while being 9+ digits long. They start getting truncated for display when they go past 99k and not right away even if you craft a single item.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The numbers in the hall of milestones start off as full numbers, but when a single item gets crafted, they abbreviate. Might as well show the full numbers because there's a LOT of space.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@daexion: I've been doing exactly the same as you described, and it always worked just as well, but this time, in this one specific dungeon, my heroes are unable to clear even a single level. And they all have the previous level's highest gear. Just, the enemies in that particular dungeon have really unfair abilities and synergies.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I recently started on Lv10 and I'm seeing that it's worth it to go back to the early levels and fill out the commons in the museum to get a 16% ~ 20% speed boost before moving on. Possibly before finishing level 9.
