I like the idea and all, but you really gotta get rid of the bugs. I believe they are the reason for the peoples' frustration.

I don't agree with most of the gripes reported here, but the way the ball occassionally just passes straight through the line is major point of frustration. I can work around most of the problems, but how can you adjust for a failure in the collision detection?
Oh, and why not just make the barriers walls/bricks/etc.? It's not like you might get lucky and pass between the "gears"?
Other than that, pretty original and decently entertaining.

please make it so that vertical lines can stop the ball. walls are the easiest way i can think to stop the ball, which is a necessary feature because making a bowl for the ball doesn't work in bouncy mode. 4/5 now 5/5 when you can make walls

there are so many bad comments because people are used to playing easy games. I for one liked this game a lot because it was hard and creative. I haven't played too many games like it, so I had to kind of adapt... 4/5 brightened my mood

well im fine wit the games where it taks up to an hour to beat but i hate game that constently glitch and where you have to repeat the same thing over and over

When someone has to beat the same level 3 times, and it takes at least half-an-hour each, that's the sign you did a horrible job on your game. Sorrry, man. OK game otherwise, 2/5.

1/5 u need to make sure ur players are happy not fustrated that its impossible (although i won) there was no moment of joy the whole time i played or no mute button and the graphics were terrible 1/5 the last badge should be impossible since u got to defeat whole game then bonus hate this game :L

i know, i like the fact that the graphics are horrible enough to have the ball travel through the line rather it ride on top of it. but hey, kongregate made the card easy to get!
