Yes the front gate of the home is locked. So I break into the house unannounced I go through their kitchen and steal a lamp, Go to the backyard WHERE THE GATE IS AND WALK BACK TO THE FRONT DOOR. Time to leave

Game plays itself, but won't let me let it play itself. Also annoying because pixels represent lack of commitment, and no character development means the story options are clearly not really choices because optional content is only for games where the developers aren't lazy as shit and basically in the wrong business. Oh, and the soundscraped

Not as creepy as some of the earlier incarnations, but I definitely liked the weeping angel vibe. It's something you haven't done before. I did find the jump scare to be much too obvious to be effective.

Pretty cool. This one was easier for me than other chapters. The hardest part was remembering to click objects twice in case one became interactive after the description. This was better than EP3, though I think EP1 was the best. This did have your best use of sound effects though. Great music as always.

It's a great game and I mean nothing by this but if you have to update to fix any bugs, I thought you should know of a couple of grammar errors: 1) The painting on the floor right by the exit of the cellar, "mold and dust cover the portrait..." Mold should be capitalized. 2) The empty room with the invoice for the clock says "This seems an invoice" instead of "This seems to be an invoice."

You know what's great? Just when I'm thinking "oh damn I've forgotten what happened last time" you include a PERFECT recap sequence.

Fears this game has given me: crows, rabbits, little girls asking to play hide -n- seek, and people with masks in yellow robes

Scary part1: Take the Acid from the greenhouse but linger a little too long after you point out the glass has been broken,
Scary part 2: Go back to the room with the angel picture after you get the photograph/after you find Alexandre gone
Scary part 3: Try to leave the room with the telescope.

What a lovely surprise when the rat-masked people came out of the painting in the midst of red light. It nearly killed me.

Playing this game when an honest to god crow decides to swoop by and then hang-out on a branch outside your window is too damn horrifying

After entering the place with the telescope for the first time, walk back out to the lab/animal enclosure area first.

Once again... It's really impressive how this game creates the wanted atmosphere, and with such simple graphics. It's a piece of art. 5/5 off course !

When I look at the key with the lens, it tells me that it is half a fencing sword. I can only assume that this is a bug.

I love when the game still continues ( chapter 56789................(the devoloper died at this stage and his genration must continue)...................................................................... no end

Somewhere out there must be a person who's sole purpose in life is to spread notes, letters and diary pages all over the place.

I love the way that the puzzle rewards are nonsensical (get the item by messing with the clocks), but the *solutions* are all things that follow logically from the clues.
Except for the things that trigger based on moving around.

These games are awesome! very nice environment and mood setting with the proper lighting and sounds. It brings me back to the old days were a game was a good play by having a great story and great music and sounds. There are not that many games here that put that much effort on story and soundtrack.

Nice enough game, but some things didn't make a lot of sense. *SPOILER*: I got stuck in two places. The vitriol acid is in the greenhouse and when Alexandre screams, he isn't in the forest as you might think, look in the cellar instead.

I'm sorry I cannot get into it. For starters, the chapters seem to be disjointed with one another. I'd MUCH more prefer it if it were made in such a way so as to make the ending of a chapter more seamless with the start of the next. "What did happen after I met those hooded figures? Forget that, we start from here now"
Apart from that, this seems like a filler, much less interesting than the first one. It feels as if the quality of the writing is going downhill.
