I loved chapter 1 and 2 of this series, and before fanboys downvote me repeatedly, I have my reasons. Both 1 and 2 had startling moments, an atmospheric feel, and truly felt like a horror-scenario game. This felt Like a sequel merely by name.
My reasons for this : it lost the atmospheric feel entirely, fans of horror in general realized something was going to go wrong soon as we had to double check the door and peek through, and the fact I had to click the same items repeatedly to get it irritated me to no end due to backtracking when I thought I had the item, because I knew I could get it. I did not get it because of unnecessary excess dialogue. You had a theme going and a great one that was atmospheric, and I can understand a developer's need to experiment with what they are doing, but to try it on an already successful series, even for experienced ones can sometimes be devastating. I hope you do well with part 4, but I am merely giving my input.

I really liked the first one, and even donated, but I feel like these are starting to get a little dull. This was a lot of walking and reading poetry with very few parts that were startling, creepy, or even particularly atmospheric. If you're going to rely so heavily on the literature of the thing then I feel you need to step it up a notch.

I don't know if anyone else is getting this, but I have several audio files overlapping each other when I play the game, particularly at the end. They are lovely, just not playing at the same time...

No idea why, but I thought this will be the last part of the series and after reaching the ending, I was really confused, so the fact that there is more makes me really happy..

@ruyo120 who said “the answer for the final question: what was it that you searched for when you joined the group (or something like that). the answer is: True philosophy. + this so others won't have to go through a whole walkthrough like i did”
—You can just try every option until one is right…

a friendly reminder, in case you don't want to check a walkthrough or don't feel like playing the first one or second one again for the answer... the answer for the final question: what was it that you searched for when you joined the group (or something like that).
the answer is: True philosophy.
+ this so others won't have to go through a whole walkthrough like i did

sigh... I tried to show how the sound name has a speaker icon on both sides with )> but it seems to have disappeared. Take 2: **spooky sound** Wrong sound: **spooky sound. Second Wrong sound: spooky sound**

Fog Area Advice: Go look for the posts by BruskeDragon and Osumsoss. Read 'em and Plus 'em both.
In a nutshell: The Fog area is a hallway of doors you can't see. Doors are indicated when the pointer becomes a Hand icon. Which "doorway" do you go through? Turn on the CC (#2). You're at the right "doorway" if the caption shows the right sound, with speaker icons on BOTH sides of the sound. Ex: ))> spooky sound spooky sound OR spooky sound m a Deaf guy and I got through the fog with their (BruskeDragon and Osumsoss) advice.

Tips for the fog puzzle: When you push 2 to show the sounds as text, they will appear on the side of the screen from which the sound is coming (ex. "crow calls" appearing on the top left means that it's coming from ANYWHERE left of your position, ranging from right next to you to completely off screen). Second, notice that after the first entrance over the bridge, the areas are basically hallways with invisible doors. This means that as long as you haven't clicked on anything with a pointy-finger, you can keep walking past an entrance as long as there's background past it to click. I may be stating the obvious, but it took me a second to realize these things so I figure somebody else will too :)

EPIC game. I really think it would be a fantastic idea to start the game with a recap of the last one. I really love the story but can never remember exactly what happened before. But fantastic job. Truly. Plus so developer can see :D

Damn good game. I'm not sure if I believe some of the names of the description authors, though. "John Doh" and "William Thewolf" strike me as people who may not have been honest about their real names. On the other hand, if they are real, I commend them on having sweet ass names.

Middle of the night in a foreign country walking around the dangerous part of town. what do you do? Walk into an insane asylum and have a nice chat with some lunatics of course!

This game is a sham. I literally walked back and forth just trying to listen for the crow. I had the sound wording enabled. Couple times, I heard the crow and it was centered. I went there and still got lost. Not wasting anymore time in the fog.

to IiDadda: is clicking on the board of the screen suppsed to be an alternate ending, or were you too scared to finish the game? :P epic game I say ol' chaps.

@xCensoredx It's not hard. If it has speakers on both sides of the word/sound effect on the visual audio then you're standing in the right spot.
