by the way, it should say, the adventure continues in chapter 4 at the end. not chapter 3. becasue I just played that. hopefully.

I love the Phantom of the Opera references. (Angel of music, point of no return.) I did well without a walkthrough until I had to find the piece of paper and beyond. So almost the whole game. Hooray~

even though there was only like two people in this one it strangely felt more populated than the other ones.
i guess it was just that female beggar that made you feel really welcome

>Braces for jumpscare when looking in keyhole, sees nothing, sh-ts pants anyways. > Sees that I can observe keyhole again. "Oh hell no."

is it just me or does anyone else half expect some epic bullshit that comes out of normal games but since it doesn't happen it just gets you more scared from the anticipation.

@grimgin You can find the music if you want it at TheLastDoor.com. You'll need to donate in order to download it, but these guys are totally worth the money!

well that sure is low res ... so low res that im not gonna play it, compare the best written game to the most crappy recent game and the recent game will still be more fun because old stuff is boring compare to new stuff

For people stuck on the fog puzzle, make sure you're not trying to get through the fog too early in the game - if the character says "I need to find a way to orient myself," there are still notes to read, people to talk to, stuff to ste...take.
@PadAbum also has a good idea about pressing 2 for the sound description

It's a good game, but not as great as the first two chapters. Also, the fog puzzle really annoyed me. It donesn't fit the typical "yay that's a very hard and challenging puzzle, great". It falls into the "ok it annoyed me so much that I will get past it anyway, I have to". And it's not good at all.

To be Honest, i hated the game at first (Not fan of horror games) then i considered finishing the game to get that Badge.
Now i got the badge......... "GREAT GAME" xD

A masterpiece for far more reasons than can be listed in a single comment. I can only wish there could be more games carefully worked to this quality.

Great. Simply great as the other 2 (three) chapters. Really a masterpiece. A little easier, but it's a good thing, 'cause in the prequels i got stuck sometimes. Also, always great soundtrack. A fully deserved 5/5 sir.

Secound time it took exacly 5 minutes XD there is a whole part you don't have to do really(the library but there are clues there so if you can't really guess the shortcut and it's interesting anyway XD also not as scary the secound time.

Its shame your fog is bugged so I can't give more than 1/5. I come to spot where crow is calling on mid screen and I still don't get anywhere.

Entertaining as ever but I still fail to see the millions of bucks the dav quoted as a necessity for development. :P 5/5 for the short but intense fun.

The most horrifying thing of all in this game is that it can be as shamelessly broken as it is and still get an average score above 4/5. I repeat: The fog puzzle DOESN'T ****ING WORK!!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Everyone complains about the fog puzzle, which I had absolutely no problem with even though I had to use walkthroughs on the previous games. Stop whining like a bunch of babies. If my four year old laptop that suffers from lag when I'm just searching on google can handle it then none of you have the right to whine like little girls about it. GREAT GAME. The eye through the door caught me way off guard and nearly pooped myself.

*Goes to the door where the laughter comes from* *Sees curtain* *Clicks on curtain* *Turns away from the laptop* *Dares to look what was behind the curtain*
Me: Oh. Getting scared to death for nothing...

*Sees things that would scare anyone and walks right toward them* "Herr doctor your patient is in trouble"... I wonder where this is going ;)
