There's something I like about the fact that the people who wrote descriptions of certain hotspots were included in the Credits.... Aside from that thing, great game! Like someone else said, I love how the puzzles are logical. and not too easy, not too hard. I ALMOST needed a walkthrough, but I wasn't stuck for long enough to look at it. I love the music and ambience. It really sets the mood. Great game!

I really like this series. Great story, excellent score and tense atmosphere, especially in a dark room. The puzzles are all pretty logical without being too easy. (I've not needed a walkthrough on any episodes).

Guys, relax. I made only one mistake in the fog puzzle - I thought cicadas' chirping was the silence so I had to run through again. The puzzle is on the easy and obvious side (well, the whole trilogy is like that, but that's ok with me), but the presentation is good and pretty clever. The poem, the fog, the sounds - I personally really liked it (and had no problem with, they could screw it up easily but they did not). The ending was very underwhelming though so it's a 4 out of 5 for me. Well done!

@CountRuben - "Cool game, however same problem as with the rest of the series: Its too big for my browser window and full screen doesn't work (I'm using Google Chrome)"
Use CTRL + minus key (-). It will zoom out the page, and in your case, reveal the whole game. CTRL + plus key (+) will zoom in, and CTRL + 0 will restore it back to default zoom (100%).

To all players who complain about the slow movement: you can warp through any door, passage, staircase, ladder, basically every exit you have gone through once. Just double-click where the hand-symbol appears and bam! I think moving a bit sluggish whenever we are in a new area is necessary for the atmosphere and I found the zipping to be a good solution.

During the fog puzzle you should stop the soundtrack, although she is amazing it makes a lot harder to hear puzzle's sounds.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The fog puzzle isn't broken; you just have to turn your sound up all the way to hear it. I had the CC on, but it doesn't really match what sound is currently playing. See the guide I posted already. It should help.

the fog puzzle it's easy once you catch the trick, you just have to walk a bit around the paths with the sound caption on, follow the sounds in the order of the poem and viola! no way to miss it (hint, walk clicing on the floor, and see from where te sounds are coming from above the screen, when the sound you want it's in the middle then go on)

No wonder the fog puzzle is pissing people off (myself included), it's broken. Heavily. First thing you have to listen for is the wind. So you walk into the fog, listening for the wind, and hear nothing but birds cawing until you get booted back to town... wait, what? Ok try again... this time you hear the wind! And successfully move on to the second section, now you have to listen for birds cawing... you hear... the ocean waves... and get booted back to town. Nothing pisses people off more than a puzzle where you know how to solve it but it's so broken that you just can't. It was mildly entertaining right up to this point. So I use the "2" to enable sound descriptions and... the descriptions are definitely *not* what is actually playing. And even if I click when it says the correct thing, it still boots me back to town. Miserable puzzle of the year award goes to... this game! 2/5.

Turn off closed captions immediatley and stop trying to pick out inaudible sounds! They lie! Instead, listen to audible sounds, the area where they appear houses the door.

Outside of the bogus fog puzzle, this would be a pretty decent point and click. Unfortunately, This broken puzzle is going to stop me from getting the badge because I dont have time to waste on it. The hints to turn on the captions is rather unhelpful as the sounds dont sync up with the captions at all. It pretty much just all comes down to chance.

this game is so F***ING STUPID! the fog maze is so frustrating. if there were a way to rate it [-]stars i would rate it -5. if it weren't for the badge of the day i would've left this game and never touch it again. thanks kong, for turning my 'relax and enjoy' time into a f***ing nightmare DX

How is Devitt not fazed at all by any of this? I would've turned around and never looked back the minute i saw those crows in chapter 1.

Was it really necessary to credit whoever wrote the few lines in the bathroom mirror description and every other ultra-minor contribution? I mean very good game and ambience, you have put a lot of work on it, but the whole let's credit every single little detail goes a bit overboard and makes the game look very unproffesional, methinks. It's like going to a restaurant, having served exquisitly served, the food is great and in the end right before leaving the waiter yells "hey you!" , and as you turn around he flips you the bird.

Having completed this game on another site, I know full well just how long the game is. I mean, not too long. It's a great game, and I enjoyed playing it. But as a badge of the day? And without the other two chapters first? WTF?

at 3rd attempt in fog puzzle (so many because its too easy to click on action at the places with souds tbh >.> ) instead of sea i get cicada sound which makes it impossible to finish

The fog puzzle is ridiculous! I walk all over the screen, there isn't really a silent part. The sound descriptions don't seem to sync with when the actual sounds play on my monitor. I've been trying to get it for an hour now. This logic-less puzzle wrecks an otherwise fun game.

Incredibly boring, awful design ideas! Why go with a larger area when you're a low-resolution game, it makes it harder to see what the big blocky pixels are supposed to be! And let people click out without pausing while waiting for long cutscenes and fades rather than having the 'attention whore' approach, people DO multitask these days. Good ambiance and great music, but takes so long to get to it that I've lost interest before it gets interesting, and by then I don't really care.

PATTERN: WIND/CROWS/STORMING SEA/SILENCE. IF YOU HEAR THE CORRECT SOUND (for example, in the first part of the fog puzzle, you will have to find wind first. Press 2. It really helps. If you find the correct sound (wind appears in the middle of the screen/can hear from both directions)), click on the doorway to continue the puzzle.

Thank you very much for the adventure, this game just shows that it is not all up to graphics if you want to tell a story and a good one at that i might add. 5/5

These games are kind of annoying. Just tell the story if you want to tell it. I'm surprised there wasn't a button for each footstep or to faint.
