The second most horrifying thing about this game: Seeing that the developers were so self-indulgent they even wanted credit for writing the dialogue you see when you look at the background scenery. The only thing more horrifying than that: Seeing my own R.L. name among those credits. God I hate this ****ing game.

Hint: Don't try to solve the sound puzzle PERIOD: IT'S ****ING BROKEN!!! Yes, I know what the solution is, and the solution doesn't ****ing work. This game should have been called the Pretentious Horror game, because the only possible explanation I can think of for a game to have been put out in this state would be if the developers were too busy looking in the mirror and thumbing themselves to trouble themselves with any alpha testing. The Game Kitchen can **** themselves all the way to Hell.

So, are you ever going to fix that ****ing puzzle, or are you genuinely just so infatuated with yourself that the very idea that you might have goofed somewhere is far too much for you to comprehend?

Love the series. This one was unsettling but less scary then the previous ones--looking forward to the next! But credit reel says "Adventure continues in Chapter 3"...Whoops? Isn't this Chapter 3?

I usually couldn't care less about the story in games like this, but the one from all the Last Doors just pulls me in.

Looks through keyhole once, nothing....Looks through keyhole again I knew it was coming kept my hands over my eyes.......lol

as for anyone having trouble finding their way through the fog: read the note, line by line. It mentions different things; in the fog the different passages have different sounds, follow the order of the mentioned things. press 2 to turn on sound description, it'll be a great help.

Thank you for making "Momma's Gonna Buy You A Mockingbird" creepy. Between crows and bunnies you definitely got the scare the crap out of the players down pat. (I love it!)

Nice reference to Edgar Allen Poe when you look through the keyhole for the first time, I was already reminded of "The Raven" when there was a raven knocking at the window in Chapter 1.

Tip: The mysterious man will lead you into the foggy area when it is time. Before then, it's a waste of time entering. Believe me, I have tested it on a replay to make sure before posting this.
As for the story, from what I got: the protagonist, his friend from Chap. 1, his theology teacher from Chap. 2, and a fourth guy (I'm not certain but I think it's his face that's scratched out in the group photo in Chap. 2) conduct some sort of arcane ritual in order to gain forbidden/sacred knowledge. The ritual is successful, but the consequence of it is that they all become insane asocial serial killer maniacs. The quest for sacred knowledge is not an uncommon theme and it has a tendency of end with that knowledge leading to the person's demise.

Atmospherically incredible game, amazing how creepy it is. The game play itself is good, but not great: too much to-ing and fro-ing just to get a feather and so on. As for the story: I played the previous chapters, but I don't remember them well, and it doesn't seem to be coalescing into a coherent story so far...

If anyone just want to finish the game as fast as possible to get the badge there are 4 parts on youtube, here is the first one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgwQu6aCZv8 you will find the next 3 ones. I did not made that video nor i do own it, thus i do not asume any credit. I just want to share it with you because it is helpfull.

It's nice to see a horror game that isn't all about jumpscares (except maybe one... totally saw it coming though) and loud noises. Though I am rather confused by the story, the game itself is pretty fun. The soundtrack is awesome and it really sets the mood for the game. Despite the graphics, the game still gave me the creeps. There is nothing like walking into a room and having the ambient sounds send a chill down your spine. The only complaint I had was with the feather. Obtaining it was a little odd (only happened to get it when I decided to use an item on everything when it didn't work on the piano), but that's just a small part of the whole game. Loved playing it, might have to play chapter 4 now just to see how season one ends.

"What was that?"
*looks through keyhole*
"Darkness there, and nothing more."
Great, good bye! What a nice game, what a nice ending.

by the way, it should say, the adventure continues in chapter 4 at the end. not chapter 3. becasue I just played that. hopefully.

I love the Phantom of the Opera references. (Angel of music, point of no return.) I did well without a walkthrough until I had to find the piece of paper and beyond. So almost the whole game. Hooray~

even though there was only like two people in this one it strangely felt more populated than the other ones.
i guess it was just that female beggar that made you feel really welcome

>Braces for jumpscare when looking in keyhole, sees nothing, sh-ts pants anyways. > Sees that I can observe keyhole again. "Oh hell no."

is it just me or does anyone else half expect some epic bullshit that comes out of normal games but since it doesn't happen it just gets you more scared from the anticipation.

@grimgin You can find the music if you want it at TheLastDoor.com. You'll need to donate in order to download it, but these guys are totally worth the money!

well that sure is low res ... so low res that im not gonna play it, compare the best written game to the most crappy recent game and the recent game will still be more fun because old stuff is boring compare to new stuff
