The fog is a very painful, ragequit worthy puzzle. Not only are the actual sounds and the sounds from the captions not happening at the same time, and not only are the freaking instructions not clear at all, with no feedback on if I'm doing anything right at all or if I'm completely confused, but it takes ages to try anything (which is perhaps the only truly egregious offense here). I wait for ages for a given sound to happen, and it doesn't. This is severely irritating and it is taking a star or two off the score in and of itself.

So GREAT game up until the fog. Even the fog is like max points for novelty and trying to up the game, but now that you tried it, please don't do it again. I found it basically unsolvable without a walkthrough/hint to use text sounds. I mean follow silence? Seriously? I had my ear to my speakers trying make things out.

Another excellent chapter. I'm not sure if you're getting better at making them or i'm getting better at playing them, but there seemed to be much less backtracking and flailing this time around. the only trouble was with the fog puzzle, mainly due to a lack of feedback.. but on a metalevel that's perfect

Old woman dressed as a little girl making me count to three while a dead man is lying dead on the piano.
One more song, she says.
TIME TO VOLUME DOWN.

I don't have words to describe this game. It's more than art. The music, the storyline, the characters. As a follower of Lovecraft I totally loved it.

I loved chapter 1 and 2 of this series, and before fanboys downvote me repeatedly, I have my reasons. Both 1 and 2 had startling moments, an atmospheric feel, and truly felt like a horror-scenario game. This felt Like a sequel merely by name.
My reasons for this : it lost the atmospheric feel entirely, fans of horror in general realized something was going to go wrong soon as we had to double check the door and peek through, and the fact I had to click the same items repeatedly to get it irritated me to no end due to backtracking when I thought I had the item, because I knew I could get it. I did not get it because of unnecessary excess dialogue. You had a theme going and a great one that was atmospheric, and I can understand a developer's need to experiment with what they are doing, but to try it on an already successful series, even for experienced ones can sometimes be devastating. I hope you do well with part 4, but I am merely giving my input.

I really liked the first one, and even donated, but I feel like these are starting to get a little dull. This was a lot of walking and reading poetry with very few parts that were startling, creepy, or even particularly atmospheric. If you're going to rely so heavily on the literature of the thing then I feel you need to step it up a notch.

I don't know if anyone else is getting this, but I have several audio files overlapping each other when I play the game, particularly at the end. They are lovely, just not playing at the same time...

No idea why, but I thought this will be the last part of the series and after reaching the ending, I was really confused, so the fact that there is more makes me really happy..

@ruyo120 who said “the answer for the final question: what was it that you searched for when you joined the group (or something like that). the answer is: True philosophy. + this so others won't have to go through a whole walkthrough like i did”
—You can just try every option until one is right…

a friendly reminder, in case you don't want to check a walkthrough or don't feel like playing the first one or second one again for the answer... the answer for the final question: what was it that you searched for when you joined the group (or something like that).
the answer is: True philosophy.
+ this so others won't have to go through a whole walkthrough like i did

sigh... I tried to show how the sound name has a speaker icon on both sides with )> but it seems to have disappeared. Take 2: **spooky sound** Wrong sound: **spooky sound. Second Wrong sound: spooky sound**

Fog Area Advice: Go look for the posts by BruskeDragon and Osumsoss. Read 'em and Plus 'em both.
In a nutshell: The Fog area is a hallway of doors you can't see. Doors are indicated when the pointer becomes a Hand icon. Which "doorway" do you go through? Turn on the CC (#2). You're at the right "doorway" if the caption shows the right sound, with speaker icons on BOTH sides of the sound. Ex: ))> spooky sound spooky sound OR spooky sound m a Deaf guy and I got through the fog with their (BruskeDragon and Osumsoss) advice.
