Keep in mind this powerup system is tried and true, In Soldier Blade you lose all you're powerups, Same in R-Type (And you get to redo the whole lvl =/ ) And in gradius you just die and respawn with a pea shooter

Absolutely terrible system of powerup loss on death. Many manic shooters have this, but the slippery slope here is taken to the furthest extreme. Could care less if it's not retro, lmb should toggle fire. 3/5

this has to be the worst power up sytem ever..... i had like everything full and at one boss BAM down to anti virus lvl1 2/5

Fun game. Nice visuals, very cool upgrades, can be simple at times, but also can be really hard if you lose your upgrades.

This game has potential. Beautiful graphics. I'd work on the gameplay a bit. I'd like to see a "shield" or something in play so that surprises from the edges of the screen don't instantly kill a player and force them to lose a life. Otherwise keep up the good work.

Make the controls tighter, the character smaller, and rewards based on points rather than based on designated enemies. A few extra different levels might be nice. Loved the computer references.

Character should follow cursor faster, now it's really easy to go outside game screen, and it usually cost few lives.
You can hover over hud in lower part of the screen, and this mans extra mouse move to move character up (everything becouse of character not sticking to cursor, but following it).
When You loose live, You loose whole upgrade too, that sucks (I had x7 firewall, everything gone after one hit).
Becouse of this flaws, I can give only three (movement is main problem).

Very good, but I'd like to see an option to use the keyboard to control. Mostly 'cause I've played a bit too much Touhou.

5/5 .. i liked because if i use up/left/right/down arrows my boos finds out that i'm here.. mouse clicks is good..ahh

Good job. My only critique is that it's a bit too easy ... and for extra credit, maybe it could use better music ;) 4/5

2 problems
Way tough in the beginning, like no powerups
and losing powerups is too easy, I lose my fire wall X 5 but keep the magnet X 6, I'd rather have fire wall :-\

very smooth gameplay, overall a nicely polished shooter, but after playing for 20 minutes or so it gets pretty repetitive. 4/5

Nice game, it needs more work in the enemies and in the main character, more music, and the enemies are too big, you always hit them, maybe an life bar will be ok, 2/5.

getting hit is too penelizing! I still give it a 5/5, but one hit and you lose a life. when you lose a life, you also lose an entire upgrade. EG antibody7 goes down to 0. That really sets you back. I would say have a health system. I mean all the other ships take multiple hits to die... But I really hope this gets badges. Also, where in the world did this get it's name?!?!

Now, this is what's called a retro look as opposed to the crappy pixelated look. The levels are a bit lengthy but I liked the difficulty curve. Overall, it's not perfect but nice. perhaps some more room for movement (either larger playing field or slightly smaller ship perhaps) would be helpful.

I didn't expect to have so many mp3s on my hard disk ^^
Anyway, the game is not bad. A slighty taller game windows would be nice.
