Under rating threshold (show) x2 stars seems not working well now. ive 25% chance x2 stars. but it hasnt triggered for 15 stages now. there is only 1.3% chance happening this, i will keep testing

Under rating threshold (show) almost zero incentive for players to play again after getting 1 class to stage 100+. and rather easy to hit stage 100 with swordsman, mage, wizard and a few more...

You made/used the backups and still have no save? I'm not sure how that can happen but will try finding more info and add more to the guide if I find anything. sorry you have had so much trouble keeping a save, let me know if you happen to find out why the backup isn't working.

Under rating threshold (show) Would love to see the following: a) Some type of progression on a loss in case we hit a wall and b) Some type of permanent bonus to reaching certain milestones with classes, or the ability to advance each class individually based on how far we get with it/usage numbers/something.

A class upgrades thing is possible, good to know there is some interest in something like that. Not sure when, but it may get added. More things being added to the list of best scores could perhaps help in the brick-wall type scenarios, so more are being added that don't rely as much on going to higher stages.

Under rating threshold (show) With skill cost reduction at 52, it took about 5K stars to get 2x crit chance to 105, which seems way lower than before patch. Also, 105% crit chance ? Is that normal ?

crit chances can go beyond 100 to help against enemy crit chance resist, which isn't very high initially but can still cause trouble for crit-based builds after enough stages, so the crit chances were made unlimited. (you can expect roughly 100 crit resist by stage 200, making 100% chances into 50%)

Under rating threshold (show) well, i would suggest not to change the balance thing too frequently, and without complete considering. its really annoying, ~~~ today morning i played once, lost it. so i keep thinking the strategy the whole day to improve my build, after a few hours, BINGO, i know what i should do now,.... but i found everything is changed when i come to the game again this night =/

Sorry about that..I am hoping to have all of the balance adjustments done before Beta ends so that's why they are showing up so frequently right now. There are some deep problems in character building of late stages that still remain, and they are proving to be very complicated to fix but I'm trying to end that as soon as possible to prevent more frustrations like this.

Under rating threshold (show) 9x Flurry lost a lot of appeal for me since last patch. Cap at 50 and cost a tremedous amount of stars to reach that cap...

Under rating threshold (show) Orangatuan : Until you get a decent amount of stars and gold to start with, I found that Swordsman and Mage are the better classes to progress. Focusing on attack speed / cast speed + cooldown respectively worked well for me. Early on, flurry x3 and cast x5 were also better than flat damage, although now for melee I tend to focus more on critical strikes.

sounds like you're fighting the ghost of your past hero, and a healer ghost is pretty scary, but the next time you load the game it'll be gone. A good tip to defeating a healer ghost is to build high burst damage using multicast from Wizard, but depending on the defensive skills you gained before making the ghost it could still prove very difficult. Hope that helps :)

Under rating threshold (show) Some number displayed are wrong in the skill trees. It only seem to affect skill that have increments of 0.1 and only when it reaches *.8 - *.9 . The increments seems to be 8 --> 9 --> 9 --> 10.

Under rating threshold (show) No, my death penalty is stll quite real. Died 3 times yesterday, got less and less resoures each time. I can screenshot it if you'd like. I cant be playing an old version, Only played it 2 days. Maybe you had a wrong build ?

That is very strange, and makes me wonder if anyone else is stuck in an old version. The new uploads are always tested by me at least enough to tell if they are the newest version, but technology does have a way of making simple things into complicated broken things, so if you have the time, send me a screenshot via PM. I'd definitely prefer if this didn't happen to anyone after release so any info is appreciated :)

the hero mode has been permanent for over a week now, and the temporary one was only around for the 1st couple days of Beta. I'm not sure what play more get worse means unless you are talking about death penalty that has also been gone for a long time, so it sounds like you're playing an old version somehow, or took 10 days to write this :P

Under rating threshold (show) The latest patch has brought back better playability with better sale values and flurries - Perhaps the only suggestions I have is to give the ability to turn off effects (to fix the 100x25 9x3 lags) and also the ability to shift+click in inventory to sell all items (perhaps a checkbox for those items you don't wish to sell)

Added toggles to condense flurry/multicast and an options menu to turn on/off different effects. :) Now sell all and destroy all are added into inventory as well!

Under rating threshold (show) I like this game, if it wouldn't be for the laggs. Please let us disable effects, because once Flurry x3,x9 are both at 100, Castchance x5,x20 at 100 and attack speed/cast speed at over 1000, this game is unplayable :x (I ended my run once i reached lvl ~400+ because all that was left was a diashow..)

The skill cost entropy system is to blame here, since the cost re-rolls only happen once you buy skills from that category. For now you'll have to buy some skills at their normal rates for the costs to start dropping down toward their new target range, but I'll make note of this as something to improve upon.

Under rating threshold (show) You probably already either thought of this yourself or had someone give you this idea, but if you're going to ban insanely overpowered skills but keep one of them on the Scholar, I almost want to see you turn them into signature skills, with each class getting one signature and two Lv10 starters.

I'll try figuring out something for 'banned' skills, like possibly an entire tree for them or having them on classes etc. since I don't really like the idea of removing things entirely just because it's overpowered. Some skills from before Beta may even return if there's a banned skill tree, and the penalty to leveling them might be that highscores/leaderboards aren't saved.

Under rating threshold (show) Seems that every aspect of how I learnt to play has been nerfed this latest patch. Item drop, item worth (stars) flurry , atk speed, multi hit, all took a big hit. Now not making 10% of the income I was pre-patch. big hit in one go :/

Sorry, this patch isn't that great for gameplay it seems. . I mostly wanted to eliminate the lag as much as possible and got carried away, but it looks like I'll be able to revert back to having good flurry/multicast and the old charges soon considering some other optimizations are working :)

Under rating threshold (show) The new charges required for magic seems to hurt casting a lot. Basically, it takes twice as long to cast but the cooldown remains the same, adding to the lowering of damage output.

sorry, there seems to be a bug related to the new ghost mechanic causing this for some people. I am still looking for the exact cause but it should be fixed soon.

Under rating threshold (show) needs a bit more balance... as it stands really its just about getting a good 25-30%+ healing item then going after the best damage items you can find whle pumping all yor stars into HP

True, I have suspected healing% on items is too easy to get and often too powerful for their rarity (100+ healing % at rarity 300+ for example), and it makes regen% seem useless by comparison. Any other balance issues I'm glad to hear, of which I'm sure there are many :)

surprised it took so long for someone to mention this :) It probably wont have sound just based on how chaotic everything gets late game.. a small test of adding sound was a disaster (100's/sec), and it slowed progress a lot trying to compensate for the problems so I just decided to skip it and make more game mechanics instead.

Under rating threshold (show) Well, this game is rather interesting, and I think it can become amazing. Just an idea, maybe make it so that it would be easier to focus on a utility-based class, because I tried a merchant, and I got more than a few items that had no good effect (Basically, did nothing or worse.) So, maybe make a skill that starts to eliminate the cost ability on items, or greatly increase the chance of everything else, or maybe something else. Glad I could beta test this though!

It's true, merchant class is really hard right now (especially if you use it as soon as it's unlocked). I have some item changes planned that could help this a lot, but I'll be sure to check an item-based utility build after I add them just to make sure. Thanks for the feedback!

Under rating threshold (show) When you go to store and into the shield, sword, bow, potion shops there is no way to exit out of them without buying anything, but what if i don't want to buy anything, there should be a way out.

You are 'drafting' an item from random selections, so you can't decide not to buy anything because you pay before you see your random options (refund could be an option, but it'll have to be a %). I'll try making it explain the drafting aspect better in hopefully a more intuitive way like visually rolling the items, or uncovering tomes, etc. Thanks for leaving feedback :]

Under rating threshold (show) i like the improvements explicitly the class starting system however i think item rarity and acquisition rate should improve as the spider gets stranger as is the norm in RPGs also i liked the death penlity and think it should be reinstituted in some way

The average item rarity does go up ~some~ depending on stages, but I'm afraid to give much more since utility has so many item rarity skills that are pretty untested. Death penalty I think can return, but I'll try having a better list of high scores that increase star/gold powers before.

Under rating threshold (show) I enjoy this game a lot. I love the randomness of the skills, it adds a nice difficulty factor. I agree with the Auto mode suggestion and MAYBE further reducing the death penalty. I do not however totally agree with the temporary Kred purchases.

Under rating threshold (show) good game a few things though need a way out of the endless stages that become possible in the cases where your passive health and shield regen best the spiders total DPS and the same it true vise versa it leads to a never ending stalemate otherwise i love this game

Under rating threshold (show) Get rid of the penalty for dying; idle games are meant to reward you after each reset, not potentially make it harder. Fun game overall, but would give it a 1/5 for the death penalty.

Under rating threshold (show) the game automatically adugsts for quality. However, id like the option to change quality. Normally when i can't my cpu starts to heat up and lag my computer. This is no exception. The upgrades are nice in this game. Mostly idle with a little but of active rpg. gets a favorite from me.

Under rating threshold (show) After playing this for quite a bit i got a few suggestions to improves this game: 1: On death one should be allowd to pick one item to be carried over to the next run - maybe 2 for kreds if you want to keep premium content. 2: Allow switching of quickbar slots so we can order them. 3: Higher stages should give more stars, gold and better items and especially better drop chances and not worse like right now. 4: Please remove already unlocked skills from the pool for the skill tomes it's realy frustrating to buy a tome for 1k+ just to see only unlocked options that give a small upgrade

Under rating threshold (show) From my experience playing this game. The best tactic is to restart game until you get the best item most likely a 1cd item that does decent damage.(Always use your items since once that wave is over the item refreshes.) After that you play through the game and go for more dmg/low cd items(3) then get a decent healing % potion. Spent Star power on health once you get your good healing potion. Once thats all done just keep spaming your Dmg items and heals and you should get a decent first run. After you die you'll get bonus Star power/ Gold power. The replay value isn't that great, if you get bad RNG on buying items/skills. Due to this there's a way to save your good item if you pay kreds.(only way to save item.) This game was pretty fun. ( I played for about an Hour Got highest stage of 20 on my first death.)

Under rating threshold (show) Like the idea of the game. I like the skills and such was just turned off the fact of clicking this game for the idle tag, and this is very farm from an idle. I do agree with total deaths having negative effect being questionable. This would lead people to just clear their game/cache and start playing over again, and that's not a good thing.

People most likely are adding the idle tag after playing a pure defense Knight, which is about as close to idle as it gets here. Also deaths no longer have any negative impact on starting stars/gold :)
