Okay, so to get the easy achivement you need to get the Arena first, which you do after battle 30. Meanwhile the Medium achivement is to defeat battle 20.
These new achivements frigging sucks.

Adding to Ropma comment: You don't even need to start your 1st arena battle, the badge was awarded after setting your arena squad formation.

The problem with the game - a vague and misleading statement of what you need to do to get the Rookie Squad Leader badge - i.e. unlock the arena!
The problem with some of the comments here - a lot of people don't seem to be reading the numerous comments telling you what you need to do to get the badge!

Reached battle 25 and the medium badge to reach battle 20 hasn't triggered. Maybe that's why is harder than the easy badge of getting to battle 30 and opening the arena?

easy badge needs raid battle 30 to unlock the arena and get 10k squad power, medium badge needs to reach battle 20, makes sense

Sqaud Power Achievement:
- Win 30 raid battles (so you unlock arena)
- Save 1k and build Arena
- Have a team with more than 10k power (By the time I managed to do all this, I already had 25k power).
- Fight your first arena battle (That's when I got the Rookie Squad Badge)

thanks @TakashiKurorai - to confirm, to get Rookie Squad Leader badge (BOTD 25 May 2023) - you need to build the Arena and get 10K squad power there

since we get gold even when we lose, it is possible to grind out progress by upgrading the squad - so it's not essential to pay - just need patience and time - it's not great if you are in a rush of course

There is no deference from Total War. There is a difference. This game is intentionally made much harder to make you pay immediately. From the very beginning we are attacked by range type opponents throwing spears who kill us in 1-2 throws, and the helaer has no offensive skill.

If anyone else is having trouble getting the Rookie Squad Leader badge, I think it cares about ARENA squad power, meaning you have to build--and fight in--the arena.

So, I go from 243 arena points to 0. How does that happen? Also, not the first time that it has happened. This needs to be fixed and corrected.

Nevermind I just realized how to figure it out by looking at the difference between the Assassin and Archers cooldown. Also on the Assassin, it says "COLLDOWN" instead of COOLDOWN.

How is attack speed represented? Is a higher number in the attack stat for the cooldown faster or slower? or is it affected by Speed instead?

@gyps Same, it seems everyone outside the top 3 dropped to 0 arena points a few hours before the scores were tallied.

@evoluchien Or you can just cheat like most of the players in the arena leaderboards. If you do it smart its undetectable. Just don't make it obvious like some... *looks in the mirror* ;)

I'm in the Raid 140-145 area right now, and my team has been built around knight + archer... my archer 1-hits but shoots too slow to take out enemy team before my tank and other heroes get taken out. Any suggestions from higher players about what cards to prioritize at this range?

1/5 stars, making simple mistakes as having the overlay for the "upgrade hero menu", COVER the currencies you need to upgrade the heroes - I mean, come on, who does that?

what a stupid game, I'm stuck at raid 33 without any way to progress. There's no reset for me, and the money I get from defeat is way too low to upgrade my heroes. 1/5 stars, I don't recommend this game to anyone.

You'e got to be kidding me with the Town Hall and Market caches.
5 minutes and 50 minutes? Who is goign to sit here monitoring that?
Increasing those to several hours is worth it EVEN IF THE GOLD PRODUCTION IS SLOWER. People can't click "GET" even 5 or 50 minutes. No other way to progress without gold since earlier raids can't be replayed. Sucks.
