how come every time I come back to my refreshed arena tokens I'm always back too zero? no matter how many points I made fighting its always back at zero when I come back...

Why does the game keep forgetting my guard setup? Every single day, it prompts me to arrange the castle guard. It remembers who is there, but keeps forgetting where they go, putting them all in the back row!

Azula123, despite the tag added by some fool, this isn't idle crap - though, of course it's still a crap, for many other reasons :) you need to work hard each day grinding to 10k medals. that's what resets are for. so, grind for medals, grind for cards, grind for gems... and spend crystals wisely.

you are supposed to crystal upgrade 1 (DPS) or 2 (DPS + tank) characters and screw the others, make them support or cannon fodder -> if you upgrade others... you slow down yourself

Got the impossible badge a week ago, still less than 2/3 into the Secrets hard badge. Feels like I'm missing something. Starting a new raid seems not worth it, offering less than 200 stars in return, when I can get more in the arena, with additional rewards, with less effort. I really thought there'd be some kind of prestige mechanic. Is there?

There are quite a lot of bugs... for example the healing often does not work propperly - when I upgrade it, its working normal again, but... its annoying.

This is like when you replay the same game but add a new skin. At least when we reskin it is to make the game look better, but this is just like a goth version or something. Every unit looks grumpy lol.

Good news, I did the "report missing badge" on the Squad Power badge as today's BOTD and got a response. Bad News, they went "oops, our bad, it should say "in the arena", so they added the wording and forgot to make it a medium badge.

Squad power doesn't seem to be transferred to server. Battles and medals do. No BOTD for you! But who cares anyways these days...

Okay, so to get the easy achivement you need to get the Arena first, which you do after battle 30. Meanwhile the Medium achivement is to defeat battle 20.
These new achivements frigging sucks.

Adding to Ropma comment: You don't even need to start your 1st arena battle, the badge was awarded after setting your arena squad formation.

The problem with the game - a vague and misleading statement of what you need to do to get the Rookie Squad Leader badge - i.e. unlock the arena!
The problem with some of the comments here - a lot of people don't seem to be reading the numerous comments telling you what you need to do to get the badge!

Reached battle 25 and the medium badge to reach battle 20 hasn't triggered. Maybe that's why is harder than the easy badge of getting to battle 30 and opening the arena?

easy badge needs raid battle 30 to unlock the arena and get 10k squad power, medium badge needs to reach battle 20, makes sense

Sqaud Power Achievement:
- Win 30 raid battles (so you unlock arena)
- Save 1k and build Arena
- Have a team with more than 10k power (By the time I managed to do all this, I already had 25k power).
- Fight your first arena battle (That's when I got the Rookie Squad Badge)

since we get gold even when we lose, it is possible to grind out progress by upgrading the squad - so it's not essential to pay - just need patience and time - it's not great if you are in a rush of course

There is no deference from Total War. There is a difference. This game is intentionally made much harder to make you pay immediately. From the very beginning we are attacked by range type opponents throwing spears who kill us in 1-2 throws, and the helaer has no offensive skill.

If anyone else is having trouble getting the Rookie Squad Leader badge, I think it cares about ARENA squad power, meaning you have to build--and fight in--the arena.
