@awsd7 how does charmer knows who is the strongest enemy? ... Just compares the hero's power number? So, can I set a tank with huge amount of hp with no dps being my max unit power to fight in arena against a team with a charmer?

Absolutely no artistic merit, soul, or care at all within. Just lazy in every dimension, can't even make an inventory system and equipment limitations can be overcome by just trading the generically named items around the generically named heroes. This poor excuse of a, no not even a game, addiction creation app is graciously awarded 1 star.

@BushidoDK arena team setup is used for defending(this also applies to castles), when you are attacking you use current team setup, but with highest stats you have obtained
yes its annoying to fight in arena after doing event raid

@xuchal DPS only increase melee damage, if you want stronger archers you need to invest into special attacks, BTW you can swap artifacts between units, so try to give HP item to tank and high special item to archers and healers, high DPS items to secondary melee units, like ninja

@Wariat117 event raid seems to be based on max team power, so upgrading units will make it harder, on my first attempt I completed 90 event missions, got green arrow and finished last 10
in the meantime I upgraded my units and now Im struggling past mission 60

there are 3 types of badges:
main raid progress - just beat as many missions as you can
medals collected - beat missions and upgrade units, then reset and repeat
team power - just keep upgrading units

Dear developer, I have been using this website for a LOOOONG time and I don't comment much, but this game has the absolute worst background music going on. I always play it muted.

the feeling when your 100M army defeats 2B castle, but lose to 13.7M castle, all because of charmer randomly picking to charm tank or dps

Am I missing something or I just have to leave the game overnight by constantly LOSING a battle to farm money? Not a fan of that. Also this might be the longest easy badge on the site. I think the new badge system is absolutely terrible, there are a ton of badges with apparently no difficulty calibration, they are just put at random.

@roza05 - tbh, it's a pretty time consuming for an easy badge but it's doable and they did leave it as the last day for BOTD - 1 week to get it done. 10k medals isn't a lot since that's the total amount of medals you need to get the final daily quest done. Winning any battle = 10 medals and you gain 1 medal per upgrade (heroes stats, buildings).

Impossible Badge: The only "Easy" Badge that can't be done in 1 day is Badge of the Day. To cite Alanis Morissette: "Isn't it ironic?" ...

@archerbob - if you're talking about PvP, then it's because of enemy Charmer. (pink fairy) - it causes a unit to fight your own team between 2sec to 4 sec. Charmer will always go for the highest power hero, it sounds good on paper but it gets countered easily by making the tank your highest power hero.

@Fabdlnltc - that badge is earning medals. (the stuff you use to earn the daily quests) and that's just your cumulative total.

I think I need a Walkthough for these badges. Been playing the game for multiple hours during 3 days, and still don't understand them,
WTH means "Gen 1 - Become a Generalissimus! - Best so far: 16525"?

OMG!!! Longest. Easy Badge. Ever. I hope this isn't a fundamental change in the time it takes to get an easy badge, and just a mixup (ie added an extra zero to the target score). Easy badges usually were earned in 5-15 minutes. -Pip

I finally got the Hero Material Badge (BOTD) and it only took me 8.5 HOURS! Pursuing this BOTD was the worst mistake of my life, but I didn't want to give up. It should have been a hard badge at least. Get out of here with this garbage BOTD decision. There are plenty of actual easy badges to choose from. Even the medium badge High Power Squad Badge would be a better choice. That would be 15 bonus points instead of 5 and that one took me 3.5 hours to earn. Still too long for a medium badge, but WAY better than 8.5 hours for an easy badge. By the way, pro tip: don't be afraid to use your portals on high level fights. You get 100 badges for each of them if used at the beginning.

I just got stunlocked in a fight with an archer who was shooting my healer who healed faster than that archer could damage her. And my archer was standing still. That was the most boring minute of my life. There should be an option to end a fight. Or a free (no banner!) fast forward option. Or the ability to turn on walking while fighting.

I'm happy that the rogue event restarted. It makes it really easy to get some quick medals. The first battles are over in seconds. In the time it took me to write this comment, I won over 10 fights.

for the ones complaining about medals. Raiding the main campaign is just one source. Other sources: upgrading buildings, arena, collecting resource. As a trick what you can do is do the event and progress as far as you can, then repeat AND lose battle the best raid event (since this progress doesn't reset when you click 'new raid'). When you have the desired gold amount upgrade your non-gold building first if you can then upgrade the gold buildings. And when you hit the limit, new raid and rinse and repeat.

Why did you decide that "Hero Material Badge" is an easy badge? It takes many hours and multiple "new raid" restarts to earn 10,000 medals.
"Brutal Training Badge" (500 medals) and "Worthy Badge" (2000 medals) come before it. Don't those take long enough to become BOTD?
Friday's BOTD was "Goblin Slayer Badge". Really easy. Just 10 raid fights. Then "Kingdom Defender Badge" (20 fights) and "Ogre Before It Started Badge" (50 fights), which I also got. Either of those could be an easy badge for today. Actually today's easy badge should be just as easy as friday's since not everyone who plays today played friday and it's dumb if those people have to earn friday's BOTD along the way to earning today's BOTD since they would have wasted those points. Instead this challenge is harder than getting the medium badge "High Power Squad Badge" for 1 million squad power.

Oh cool, lost a fight to rng, retried it and won, and got a "Hey, you did a hard fight, rate us 5 stars!" ... yeah, no, if I hadn't one-starred this p2w game earlier this week, that'd 5-star beg alone would have made me do it -- five stars is for an amazing game, which this ain't.

is there a way to fix the "archer" so he shoots melee enemies when they come close to you? It's a pain when I have to watch last enemy charmed unable to harm archer, and archer fully charged and doesn't do anything, no running away, no shooting, just waiting for defeat, even funnier when priest spawns skeletons and mob focuses skeletons... so it's 5s+ of archer afking lol

For those who haven't see it yet, they added a speed up button in the top-right corner of the battle screen before you start the fight. 3 chevrons is the max. It also looks like the battle can run even faster if you make the window lose focus. It would've saved me a lot of time yesterday had I known this sooner.

Either add interactivity in fights like in Swords and Souls or allow us to fast forward the fights during the fight for free like in most idle games.

I reset the raid multiple times to redo battles 1-20 until I got enough character cards to recruit more party members. Rinse and repeat until I could do battle 30, 40, etc. just from using the gold for winning battles to power up. The rogue limited event was very helpful with getting money and hero cards too. Still, it's quite grindy and I did it while watching a show in another window.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You might as well reset the raid at one point since you can't upgrade many stats without enough crystals. On the other hand, you'll have way more gold than you need after upgrading the buildings a bunch of times and doing something else in the meantime while you wait for the gold to be generated. So you might as well reset when the fights get too difficult. Then play a bit, upgrade buildings somewhat, start the game later to collect gold, upgrade buildings and wait, etc. until you can upgrade your characters all the way and beat the easy fights while doing something else in the meantime (2 windows side by side so it keeps playing). That way you can get this BOTD. Otherwise it's gonna take longer and longer to get the medals since fights take longer and upgrades are fewer.

I you try to upgrade something and a popup appears with a "deal" and you are willing to buy it, don't. Cancel the popup and a 50% off deal appears. Still don't buy it though. Spend money on better games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It costs money to be able to speed up the slow battles. So the developer is purposely making the game worse to try to get more money. Besides of course it being a game with microtransactions, which incentivizes the developers to make the game excruciatingly grindy unless you pay.

"Hero Material" is the star medal with the purple tails. You get it every time you win but you ALSO get it every time you upgrade or reupgrade a unit level or a building level, PLUS every time you grab a building generated resource. So to get today's badge of the day you need to run to the wall on a raid, upgrading everything as you go as much as you can, then let the raid go mentally and reset it, then upgrade and push, reset, upgrade and push, reset, on and on. It is theoretically possible to do this in a day, it will just take hours and not be fun to have to do.

hero material badge, How is it classified as easy along with 2 other less tedious badge that required the same points but way lesser amount?
