On day 2, when I noticed that gold price fluctuates, I immediately fired up a new Excel sheet on my second monitor and began tracking max, min, avg, and 75th percentile gold prices. Any game that encourages the use of external data analysis gets a bonus star from this geek.

Hold on, why are all these guys living in tents when i have built all these shops for them? Is there an option to build a massive house for people to live in? Because I can't help myself to just destroy all of the tents and then make them all live in the shops...

i'd like the ability to at the very LEAST have the gold exploded to bounce off the edges of the bought plot of land so your not running around for 3 minutes in complete dumbfounded astonishment of not finding all the ore -.- so sick of losing nearly a half ton (OR MORE) in possible ore because it flies off screen.

@8560 (and anyone else who has this misunderstanding): Running out of fuel before the drop-zone doesn't matter; when you can reach all the gold, you find that the day ends as the truck reaches that last bit of ore--NOT when you bring it to the drop-zone.

typo on the badge 'became' should read 'become'... and what do i need to become a boom town? get all achievements? i'm stuck at 1982 population no matter how many new buildings i throw up-and i'm running out of funds :P
