Alright, this roomba bullshit is the only reason anybody loses. It completely ruins all use of melee weapons. Fix it. Seriously.

They have the best, non-glitch AI's known to man. They simply get into a range that their gun can handle and fire at their programmed target. This AI fits the storyline well, actually.

To everyone complaining, this game was made in 2007. Thats 7 years ago, of course the Ai isnt going to be that great, the badges were added years ago when there weren't as many games on Kongregate as there are now.

You guys need to just quit whining and actually use your freaking brains, if you think about the challenges and actually watch the AI's attack patterns its really not that hard, you guys are just pissed that you can't beat an incredibly simple game, it only took my 1 hour and 30 minutes after I realized that. You need to actually READ the challenge titles and there description, they aren't called Tutorial for nothing. your all just hating on a great game because you all suck at it, and this is what Kongregate has come to, a bunch of achievement hungry babies.

The controls. Suck! Very little actual control, they go back to their horrible ai as soon as you release, and, for the love of pete, they wander around like lost 4 year olds! One just wandered off in the middle of a fight, moving into a corner and doign nothing while it and my other bot were just destroyed, and had just been about to win! The only reason I'm playing this is for the badge of the day. Disgraceful. There have been many games like this, most, if not all, much better.

At least give me restart button, so I can restart challenge 4 quickly.. without waiting for the shield to die.........

Well this game sort of had my respect, then i landed in a place i like to call, my tanks are too tanky for area 1 and i'm broke

The worst game I've played here. Career mode is somewhat ok, but challenges made me give one star only. If you could prevent your bot from moving after reaching destination, I would give more stars. For example in challenge 4 the shield tries to hide as far as possible from the enemy, yet the sword wants to be as close as possible to the enemy even though I gave exactly opposite orders. That clearly doesn't make any sense.

Ha, I realized fast that you can tell your robots where to move, btw, if you want to mount someting on your robots you have to buy one of these chips, buy a plating and a weapon, then select your Chassis(chip) and select the paltin, then press mount, make sure to enable your robots before fighting, you can use different weapons platins for your preference and keep in mind that there is someting like a 'weight limit' for the robots.
I personaly liked this game.

Does this game have,
A. Horrible AI
B. Horrible Controls
C. Huge difficulty ramp because of A and B
D. All of the Above.
Hint: It's not A, B, or C.

Just after I finished the whole campagin I realised you could chose where to move them yourself.. If I knew that I would beat the game pretty much faster.

I almost lost because my robot refused to shoot an almost-dead enemy and started attacking another one with full health. That says everything about the rest of the game.

Pre game stategy option would be nice.
Bot 1. Attack closest
Bot 2. Defend weakest bot on your team
Bot 3. Attack highest health bot.
Bot 4. attack weakest.
ECT.......

Hey, I bet the dev doesn't even read all the great suggestions here. I really hated this game. It could be awesome and ended up being awful. If challenge 4 wasn't so rigged against the player by the dumb AI maybe we could just play the game and hope for the next one to have better controls. (before making another game, improving this one would make people look forward for the next one) By the way, I feel frustrated and full of hate. Games shouldn't do that.

What's with the terrible robot aiming? Robot is right on top of mine, 1/5 of my robots hits hit the robot because the other 5 having him shooting at nothing at max range instead of point blank range like he should.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, one more thing. A weight limit? Really? Maybe that would make sense in real life but in a game, that's a terrible mechanic. If I want difficulty, I want it to be because the game is actually HARD and not from forcefully imposed artificial difficulty.

To add on, the controls are kind of poor. If you're going to make a game with controllable units, either make it so that you pause the game whenever you choose to change the command or be able to choose more than one unit at once.

The UI is very... Eh. Not very good. Robots are not very good. Game kind of repetitive. The colors are not nice to look at. Dark colors are out. Cheerful colors are in. Backgrounds are ugly.
Kind of surprised this got badges.
Having to quit out of career to get to the settings is just bad design.
Gradients only look good in Anti-Idle: The Game because it's SUPPOSED to look cheap. I think this game deserves a 2/5, 1 being unplayable and 5 being Bloons TD, Sonny or any game by jmtb02.
Please, TheWaste, if you'd fix these, your game would be vastly improved.
If these are fixed, I'd be willing to play it again, but until then...

Thank you Shield for protecting Sword. You're my best friend.... >:(
Suggestions for controls:
-include a pause button because I want to control my bots every movement
-include a stay command or have an option to do only what I say, no automatic AI just sit there if I don't give a command
-for follow have a distance to stay away from the target (after the follow command is given show a line from the bot to the mouse and however long the line is when the user clicks is the distance the bot will try to maintain)

Not only do I have to PRAY that my AI doesn't derp so hard that shield runs away and sword rams it's face into dragon, once sword dies, I have to wait while dragon slooooooooowly kills sheild.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I forfeit on account that my bots are complete idiots. They seem to run away from enemies while being fired upon, deciding it's best to hide and not even try to fight back. They also believe that hiding in a corner facing it is the best defense.
