Divine Hunter is actually wrong about the shadow under the enemy. The shadow appears when you are withing striking distance. It doesn't signify anything but that.

For those who want to see what slightly higher levels are like, try PWs: spread good, disorder. Anyhow, a lot of this game comes down to timing. It would be nice to have some sort of upgrade system and weapon selection so the battles aren't so redundant - there are only so many sword vs sword or sword vs spear fights you can do before it doesn't feel like you're playing a game anymore.
