Here is a helpful hint: don't build enough rooms to qualify for the next star until you have saved up quite a bit of money. Once you collect the next star, everyone expects you to have all the latest amenities and your popularity goes down if you don't. Then your rooms don't get full and you lose business and money while trying to buy the latest luxuries. If you wait to build the required number of rooms once you are sitting on a nice pile of dough, then when you level up you can get what everyone wants right away.

Only flaw... 'Add more elevators'. I ended up breaking mine up so that the elevators took shorter trips. But had to delete ENTIRE elevator, couldn't just remove a middle section.

I may have a solution to the elevator problem, but it's VERY costly. Reserve 2 spaces in the middle of your hotel, then stagger elevators so each elevator serves 3 floors. So a shaft on the main level going to the second level, a new shaft next to the first going from the second to the fourth, a third shaft on top of (but NOT touching) the first shaft reaching from the fourth to the sixth, etc. I did this and my elevator complaints were reduced immensely.

Just because something is new/unlocked, the public shouldn't be able to complain about it the moment it becomes available to me.. there should be a bit of a waiting period between when it's available and when they complain.

Good game. Not as complete as "Corporation" though. Would like to see upgrades for elevators and staff. The elevator situation is enormously stupid if you ask me. Can't comment of sound since I turned it off when asked at the beginning of the game. (+1 for that!). Solid 4/5 overall.

I'm not made out of money, you stupid guests! There is also a arcade only 1/2 mile away from my hotel, and same with a gym! We have like internet cafes, normal cafes, plenty of elevators, and your still complaining about that! Oh, and that trash you leave on the floor? PICK IT UP YOURSELF!!! Stupid guests... Still, awesome game, 5/5.

Whats the point of buying rooms when ALL THE GUEST USE ALL THE SERVIES IN THE HOTEL AND DONT USE THE ROOMS!!!!! and yet the rooms still get dirty?!?!?!

Um, it's pretty fun but I don't like that it pauses when I click outside of the game screen. That makes it a little high maintenance. It's kind of boring just watching the money fluctuate while I'm waiting to gain a star. It would be great it I could let it go, or if there were a speed up button.

I have played an older game, exctly like this, but with more upgrades, missions... much better...
If you are going to do a new game, "based" (copy) an older one, why don't you improve it, instead of... well... do something worse?

"The wait time is too long for _____." *Looks at screen* THERE IS NO ONE IN _____! How is there a wait time when nothing is being used?!

On second thought, the elevators at least keep a constant all-the-way-up and all-the-way-down motion, but they aren't nearly fast enough or something. I don't know how they can be fixed outside of being faster or having larger capacities to begin with. It's insane how much is needed to please them in elevators alone. I switched out all the 5caps for 10cap elevators. They're still not enough. They hold 40 people at once total, not including staff, and there's only 120ish in the hotel. Over 1/3 of the people need to be in the elevators at one time?

Please fix elevators. I have four 5cap Elevators and 1 Staff Elevator. It isn't enough? That is 5/11 spaces width-wise that the elevators alone take up. I'm not replacing them with those 25 grand elevators, because they're still only going to move one visitor at a time. They'll go up and down repeatedly per person and will not work in a sensible way, making people wait far too long. I don't need an engineer to know that Elevators are pretty broken.

I don't understand why they are annoyed about my lack of an open-air cafe. I mean, when i go to a hotel, i don't EXPECT an arcade or an open-air cafe or a gym. I expect a place to stay, nothing more. Adding an open-air cafe should boost my income rate and my reputation, but it should NOT penalize me for not building something.

This could be a 5/5 game but there are a few problems. Elevators need to be able to be upgraded/updated. Employees should be smarter, be able to be 'programmed', or default back to a room that could need them. The big one though, is that I haven't seen one guest give me two thumbs up. I went from a 900+ rating with one star, to a 600 rating at two stars; when I check the reviews, they all say "super hotel, but there's no _____" and then two thumbs up; I'm not saying I should stay at 900, but I shouldn't plummet, mainly because less people stay and it's harder to get the money you need for upgrades.

General advice: Always buy the "expansion" before you increase your rating (even take out loans to buy a second expansion before your rating goes up). The way to handle the elevator problem is to have at least one service elevator (your employees won't complain about the wait) and use your expanded space to spread out the different types of rooms so the customers don't have to go so far on the elevators (I agree that the elevators, at the very least, need upgrades).

@ people complaining about lack of pause and game speed: There are pause, X1, X2, and X4 speed buttons on the bottom right corner. Other things not mentioned in the tutorial is the ability to get loans by pressing the "+" button next to your current cash and the "destroy mode" option.

I have two times as many elevators then I do rooms and people are still asking for more elevators. This doesn't make sense, considering the way I designed them, how many i have per floor, and my maximum capacity.

Would love to see this more fleshed-out. Some upgrades, more stuff to do on the play screen, some more interesting goals, Random events, that sort of thing.
