Under rating threshold (show) @gonzofly4: Just because your reputation is good doesn't mean you won't be able to go bankrupt. The reason why you have so many good reputation is because you are buying all these fancy rooms, elevators, or employees. They all have monthly payment. Having a lot increases rep, but decreased money. Having too little increases money, but decreases rep.

Under rating threshold (show) Everyone is just doing elevators wrong, have a ton of 3 or 4 tall elevators all the way up, not really long ones.

Under rating threshold (show) Game was challenging (sort of) at the first two stars, but afterwards, it was a breeze for me. Keep a separate story level for each of the special rooms. I places 3 rows of elevators at 6 blocks apart at first, and then kept 4 blocks between for the other groups of elevators. I never had much trouble keeping up with the elevator requests. I guess you just need to make sure they're spread out evenly so they dont choose one set of elevators and clog the entire thing.

Now go forth and multiply and multiply and multiply...!! NOTE ** is elevators and %% is no elevators.. Enjoy ::))

Under rating threshold (show) Maxed out hotel, including 3 staff elevators and 10 capacious elevators. Take a wild guess about the one thing they are pissed about. Moral of the story: if you ever build a hotel, make sure it is made completely out of elevators.

Under rating threshold (show) #1: NEVER take out a loan. #2: Get the hotel stable with everyone happy, set it at 4X speed and then just let it run for an hour to build up cash supply. #3 Buy the land expansions. You should have the 150k expansion BEFORE building room #60 for 3 star rating. (you'll never get in the elevators to serve the 15th floor if you are not wide enough)

Under rating threshold (show) way too easy to go into debt -.- they keep complaining about elevators which don't bring me income, but if i don't make half the building elevators they all leave ):' (note: i did find it more effective to have the elevatos lined up in a zig-zag formation from one side of the building to another, with each only covering 2 floors...so everytime it emptys it reloads and shorter travel.)

Under rating threshold (show) To get your guests to stop complaining about there not being enough elevators: Build the 5000 dollar elevators: one from from floors 1-3, one from 3-5, one from 5-7, etc. Do not use the 25000 dollar elevators, they aren't worth the price. Your customers hate waiting for the elevator but they don't mind having to take 10 different elevators to get to the top floor. You can also try to alternate every 4 floors instead of 3 floors if you want.

Under rating threshold (show) When they say "more elevators" they mean SHORTER elevators. Don't build many 30 floor elevators ... just build short elevators, I had zigzag-elevators each one going maximum 8 floors and Never had anyone complain anymore.

Under rating threshold (show) Also you should be able to click and drag elevators up instead of just clicking, this would help a lot with not accidentally clicking in the wrong place and bankrupting yourself(slight exaggeration), but the do cost a lot. :) good though, and maybe add a casino?

Under rating threshold (show) How to not get "more elevators would be great!": Don't build your elevators all the way up the tower, someone goes from floor 0 to floor 20, and noone can use it until the elevator comes back down. Have one shaft go all the way up (plus a service shaft), then 2-3 only going up the first 5 floors (where your reception/cafes/entertainments are), and another 2-3 going up from the highest service floor to where the rooms are. Or have one set of shafts going 1-4, 6-9, 11-14 etc, and another going 3-6, 7-11 etc. (you might need to do this twice). Much higher cost, but it's about the only way to get enough favor for 5*. (service elevators seem to work well enough without doing this, and when you're going for 5*, you can just hire a squadron of maids)
