Great for an alpha, but here's what's holding it back for me: 1) Levels need to be more diverse; defend/defend/clear gets old quickly. Explore/clear bits are 100% filler - slow and super easy. 2) Difficulty depending on how you spawn - guns/survivors you find - feels too variable, even for a rogue like. 3) Needs harder late-game zombies; especially needs some enemies that actually take thought and skill to fight. Right now the difficulty curve is from hard to easy, which is bad. 4) Not actually enough time to research/craft stuff (?)

so disappointed when its the fifth day but great game wish I could support it please just extend it so I can play it for as many days as possible I know its a demo but please!!!!!!!!

The reason it does not have an auto save is because it is a DEMO. Still feels like it should be a free game though permadeath really sucks.

70 supplies and all survivors at full health. All of a sudden a day goes by and it's game over all survivors are dead. Kinda tired of putting time into this game just to randomly die for no reason.

Nice game, addictive, with a lot of action. Maybe it could be nice to put some auto-loot when a map is clear of Zs, because it's fun to clean one map, but it become boring after ten or more map.

@Ettera it's a rogue-like game. it's designed specifically around permadeath. Look at games like FTL: Faster Than Light and the game this genre's based on: Rogue. That's the core function.

@Dedwynde it's not 3 stages then nothing, it's just you have to wait a sec for the heroes to come on screen and then you do missions to build a car.

Also, add if you can: 21 limit the bullets (bullets are not infinite) and after
you run out of rounds per caliber shitch to melee (no noise). 22 Craft bullets. Loot bullets.
Craft melee, loot melee. Craft gunpowder. 23 Certain loot can be used by certain roles,
ex: electronics + guns = (oversimplified) sentry gun. M. Engineer dead, no more sentry guns.
Builder dead = def of barricades cap up to certain % (of those made by that role), no more
barricade making as cover. etc.

Explore if you can add later: 01 Line of sight. 02 Line of fire. 03 Shoot friendlies if blocking line of fire. 04 Team member area cover. 05 Define team member role (ex:scavenger loots, others cover). 06 Map starts black then gets recon mapped. 07 Team members block themselves inside formation, if they pass through team members it is slower. 08 Dead team member becomes zed. 10 Team members form positions or cover following role assignment or tactic. 11 All zeds reactive to gun noise or noise trap. 12 Zeds positions are invisible at 1st exploring maps. 13 Zeds can be inside objects. 14 Chances to get zed rush from other map. 15 Remove backpack looting screen. 16 Sacrifice team member yes/no to use him as bait. 17 Decisions affect moral. 18 Funerals. 19 Storage of loot, quantities. 20 Zeds AI executes strategies against the team, directing zed rush or blood explosions to infect them into permadeath.

Pretty game. But why you drop the "i´m a infection overlord" (core appeal of infectonator) to dev the "i´m a generic survivor against the dead tide"? Could be fun to amp up the former core idea using this approach.

Okay, if your gonna put pewds in a game, you have to have Cryaotic and another let's player (such as markiplier or cinnamontoastken)! C'mon guys! and why do pewds and marzia NOT have perks?

So now that you're getting all this kick start money AND selling it per-released on steam, maybe you can finally afford to hire an author whose original language is English, and a skilled editor, to deal with your chronic Engrish problems. Also, add a non-permadeath mode. 2/5.

Do not like the idea of having a nuke, because i'm on day 3 with only 4 fuel and I don't and can't spend my time fixing the car, because if I spend any more time on it, I'd probably lose. Please make a hunter mode or free play. Can you add minigames such as healing zombies to humans? I dunno, just please ease it down a little maybe?

Lol they complain about perma-death.. just refresh when one of your heroes die and you can roll back to previous save. (Save occurs at end of days and missions)

game is awful, can only look at screen. cant click cant move, tutorial doesn't work, or if it does its at a later stage that I cant get to because im stuck looking at a screen... really dissappointed

I am probably doing this game wrong due to there not being any kind of tutorial.... the options tell me right mouse move i broke my right mouse button clicking everywhere, all i get is options to search, build, move and cancel. Any tutorial on how to move and stuff would be nice. All i can do is look at a map and that is about it for me in this game.

I love this game, i can't wait for the full steam release but, my only complaint with this version is the full screen button doesn't work. is that a bug, or just firefox?

Fullscreening doesn't work for me for some reason, but a pretty darn good game nonetheless! I suggest increasing the resolution from the options in order to get a wider screen.

This game is really cool and has a great start. I like all the things you can do and that gameplay is split between the waves and the exploration phases. I like the idea of a base building element as well. I only have two complaints. First, characters should move together if I have them grouped. Having my slowest guy be melee with the default group was frustrating. Second, I had no need to use farm and no time or need for research. I just did two outings worth of missions and had all I needed, then put my best search/build guys on the car.
