Great game and I'm glad it's still getting updated! Just wondering, why haven't we gotten hotkeys yet? Using your mouse for everything gets tedious.
Its been talked about for a while but I don't use hotkeys much myself and I plan to launch on mobile which doesn't have much use for them. I may end up working on a PC/Exe version first so hotkeys would move way up on the todo list

immortalsergal, you need fighting tactics of unlocked, then just read the trial description and set your stance and tactics according to the hint it provide, for example the power strike trial you use blitz stance while having one of the Fighting Tactics set as Always - Power Strike First.

I'm having trouble with Frederick's 3rd star: I have 20 Resolve, and I get two successful reversals (the words go purple), but then when I win the battle, I don't get the star. I'm not sure what to do?

im a bit confused: in the fighting tactics menu, i cann assign the guard skill, but in skill tree and on the normal fighting screen i cant select guard. im stuck on 0% attack quest because of that :/

BrandontheFalcon: You need to hire rivals for your school. For example, if you have Marshall hired as a rival, he lets you get Guard level 30 when he is level 600.

I can't seem to get my skill cap above 25 for beating the top three rivals (lvl 600). I have all of my masters with their skill levels identical and maxed, as well as innovation maxed. What am i missing?

@RickyRatte Thanks a lot. Yup, downgrade worked. *sweat* *sweat* I downgraded all hybrid skills and got the normal fighting skill points back to the main pool. I was worrying that, once added to the hybrid pool, it couldn't be withdrawn to normal pool.

@voncritic yes and no. You can use skill points on hybrid skills, but you can't spend hybrid points (from familiarity for example) on normal skills. But don't worry, you can always just downgrade any hybrid skills

Somehow, this game made in 2017 in Kongregate is still updating very often. This is something you very rarely see in Kongregate so, I wish the creator of this game keep updating because this game is a gem itself and I can see that the creator of this game has put, need I say 4 YEARS WORTH OF TIME and STILL COUNTING. Splendid, flawless, awesome, ground-breaking job, tovrick!

Do "Hybrid" and "Skills" share the same pool of available points? I'm afraid that I have accidentally spent points in Hybrid that I should've saved for Skills. Is there a way to avoid this?

Why can I not set my scroll research template above lvl 15, even though I have upgraded my library to level 4 and my max skill levels are all over 25?

guys....how do i get more fame? it takes soooooo long. beat all the rivals until i need the 50k fame. i'm at 42 now. all stats maxed, everything researched

0% Attack
-Always >0% Atk
-Disciple Counter Attacking > Stance Blitz
-Disciple not Counter Attacking > Stance Guard

military training 2 is difficult for me to understand. it doesnt matter if i invade or conquer or fallback or retreat, im always 100% by the time i get to the far wall and cannot progress further
You should only be conquering a few tiles to use as bases to explore the map. What I usually do is Invade the first 3 zones then Conquer the zone to the right (Blight 12). I Fallback then Invade the bottom left path, then Fallback and Invade the top path. Fallback again then Invade to the right. When I reach the right side I conquer that zone (Blight 15). Fallback and Invade North, then I Fallback and Invade South. And that's it, only needed to conquer 2 zones.

figured out 0% attack trial for people asking.
the only tactic i used was Always --> 0% attack and manually swapped stances.
stick on guard and as soon as the opponent attacks swap to blitz.
disciple should be able to hit on the counter, and as soon as it hits swap back to guard.
rinse, repeat.

so what's the point in hiring more than one army soldier? they don't fight together or one after the other, they can't invade at different places at the same time... I'm confused

Now I need to figure out exhibition tournament. "Can only be hit by X" and yet guy blocks it and never gets hit.

the tourney quest is wierd, i can only hit the poer strikes first trial guy with power strikes, but i can only attack/hit them if im in blitz mode, with 100% chance of combo attacks, which means i can never power attack.... im so confused

You need to invade until you're far into the Blight, then Conquer a tile. Fallback and now you have an advanced base camp to start from.
