I feel like the game would benefit by being able to switch fighting styles and perhaps even stances with hotkeys. I've accidentally clicked the shop way too many times when trying to switch to dual blades.

great game. really love the sword fighting animations. and gets a lot deeper the more you play. that being said later game i think the skills need to be more of a % increase. adding 6 to attack when it's already a thousand after grinding away for hours for the skill points does seem like a poor reward.
Attack, Hit and Defend chance is based on the difference between the disciple's stats and the opponent's stats. So 20 points added to Attack late in the game will have the same impact as 20 points early in the game. (Exp: A disciple with 100 attack versus enemy with 80 attack will have the same Attack% as a disciple with 1000 attack vs an enemy with 980 attack.)
Oh, that is a tilde character `~` not a minus. Dual sword damage varies depending on the attack type (right hand, left hand or both hands) so the Dmg value here shows the average.

Here a interesting question I feel is important in decision skill building, can combo attack and power attack combine in any way? As in can in the middle of combo attack can one become a power attack even if it doesn't say so? There no way to tell if there is.
Combo attacks cannot become Power Strikes. But you can change stances in the middle of a combo -- so you can start the combo in Blitz stance and finish it in Power stance, dealing more damage (though hit% will drop a little)

I love the game, but my one qualm is you have to either stay focused on it, or come back regularly. I would love the auto-progress to turn off, and revert one level back after, say 5 losses in a row?

sometimes the math of this game really messes around with me... i have a 69% chance to attack, the opponent a 31% chance to attack... yet he can attack me 10 times in a row. lol
Defend in this game represents parry, block and dodge ability which is made worse by heavy armor. The heavy armor can take a hit though which is why you get the HP boost.

idea: there should be a blacksmith, its lke the shop but instead you chose a bace item (clamore bukler ecta) and a set ammount of gold, then your wepon gets random stats(better ones for more gold),each stat should be green if its better then orginal or red if worse, and there could be some special effects like:
reflect; deal x damege to oppont when you block
disarm; your oppont cant use there wepon for x ammount of attacks
dissapear; randomly go invisable, you gain x extra hit chanse and x more damege and your oppont cant hit you intill you attack
i belive this could help sperate what you want your play style too be even better and could lead to some intresting builds and lets you get amzaing late game wepons.

Save not working at least for me. Using safari. It let's me save but after closing window/refreshing page, all saves are lost and also all progress made.

Commentary: 1) Innovation mastery skill is useless lategame except for the award, as skills seem to be hardcapped. 2) Due to Blitz having percentage based (?) damage reduction, increasing its level weakens Blitz too much. 3) I'm unsure what the Prestige skill does. Increases platinum income? 4) I'm still using the rapier at level 200+ because I hate stat maluses. I'll note the rapier outperforms the shortsword in damage upgrading, but loses to all the other weapons by various margins. 5) Lategame, the most optimal sword-style seems to be two-handed with the barrage stance, solely to kill opponents with high damage strikes as quickly as possible to optimize your duel stats for offline gains. If you're don't rely on offline gains than whatever is fine I guess. 6) Knights and paladins are a frikking pain in the ass. Stupid turtles.
Thank you for the feedback. Prestige skill does increase platinum, I will correct the description. Skills will eventually have a max of 30. Blitz has a damage penalty because it boosts Hit and Combo attacks so on average the damage should be higher (though I haven't done any complex calculations to confirm that.)

Platinum has very bad late game balance - you will make everything else before you even get close to getting better platinum buildings.
Other than that - fun little game, not much to do later on, so waiting for more content.

I have crit ant power strike both at ~ 20%, but have never seen crit triggered on power strike.. I assume crits work on normal attacks only? great game, btw.

I retired my second disciple and expected to get my dozen mastery skill points but instead was reset to level 1 with nothing (except my previously earned masteries). That's a problem.

The RNG in this game is nice and Fair. getting killed by a 10 lvl lower enemy every now and then is just bad luck and fine with me.

Alright, i must say : When i first start it, i thought it would be super boring. "Not a lot to do, prestige seem meh. Not a lot of equipement so probably a short game..." But, it was pretty, and it seem we unlock more and more thing as you progress. So i was still curious. Now, i've unlocked quite a lot, and i must say, it's much more better than i thought. And i'm gonna as far as i can.

Why is it that when I tab back into the game I find myself at the start of a fight against a knight with absolutely no stamina remaining a lot of the time?

How is it possible to get the Late Bloomer Achievement (Reach lvl 50 as Novice) with a higher Training Room that instantly promotes you to Provost?

Why is it possible to buy the basic equipment in the shop while we already have them and that it doesn't add anything beside wasting money?
