For everyone complaining what a Life Saver is, forever solving that retarded question, is to jump in the water while a bar is full so you can beat the crap out of a random monster in a key combo.

this game almost seems as if it is trying to make me mad, it is like playing an arcade game, they are designed to be addictive...not fun, just addictive
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Inuichi, the "life saver" bars are for when you fall into the water without a shield. You battle a monster (quicktime button pressing) and are then ejected upwards.

This might seem strange, but the lag I get (especially on high quality) really helps me dodge problems and get powerups.

What are those 2 small elements under the health and glide bar? I guess they are life savers, but i dunno how to use them? How do they work?

Hey if this is the end of the world and I went back in a time machine to the dinosaur period and when I fly there's a tsunami going on then why bother to run when you can go back in time and tell yourself to run away? I don't like this game no more.

I'm seeing the "life saver" bars fill with a green indicator, but I have yet to figure out how to use them :/ Anyone mind explaining them to me?

Shield sucks. It should break on the first source of damage, not the first contact with a potential source of damage. In other words I should be able to hit and combo enemies as normal until I mess up a hit and would take damage (then the shield absorbs it). Red springs should also break the shield and launch me (for no damage) rather than be ignored. As it is becuase it makes me totally ignore the next enemy and all red springs until then, it actually is a major detriment to my platforming. On a slightly related note, yellow springs do WAY too much damage, sometimes hitting for half my health. I actually died from two yellows and nothing else once.

Is it just me or do other ppl also have poor framerate issuses when you ''load, die, lvl up, QTE and get a achiement''. It just freezes for a few seconds when each of these happens. Is it perhaps i am using Firefox ?

Those Goddamned Bogflies. I ahve slain the Great Beasts! I Have Flown to the moon and Swam Beneath the tsunami! I've ridden Dragons, Birds and panthers! I have Tunneled through Falling rocks with my Head! and yet these stupid little jerks kill me Every time

I like how my comment got downvoted and hidden but no one says against it. Why would you use the mouse when you can auto hit like with the arrows, and you cant use the arrow keys to input the QTE? I cant see a single scenario where someone would use it.

guys if you hold down ANY key, your guy will attack monsters, so you can hold down say, the right key the entire time without having to push the up key and still beat up monsters :D

Stuff people might like to know about the levels:
1. First aid kits only appear on the lava level, but it also has a ton of hazards. Only spend time there when you're fishing for health.
2. The top level is high risk, high reward. At fast speeds the biggest threat there are the bog flies. You'll only ever enter the clouds by gliding or by trampoline, so stay low for big combos and listen for the dragon. To ride the dragon you need to approach from above.
3. The bottom level is very safe at low speeds, but dangerous at high speeds. Save your lifesavers for later, you'll need them.
4. The T-Rex level and the wave level are fairly safe to fish for items, but otherwise have more hazards than the top or bottom levels. Use them mostly for transition.

God: "Oh wait, he fell into a massive Venus Fly Trap?" "Alright then, stop the T-Rex gushing waters, flowing lava, and billowing clouds..."

It would suck if you were really tall. You'd have a Tsunami, Valcano Lava Tsunami, T-Rex, Avalanche, Thunderstorm Clouds, and a Crapton more to worry about! D:

can someone explain to my why you would EVER use the mouse? When i found out you auto attack by pressing any arrow, and the fact that you have to click on screen arrows for the Quick Time Events, arrow keys are superior in every single way.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wow didn't realize i could just hold another arrow key the whole time and attack everything in my path. Things started to blur by at 60,000 score from the speed lol.

It's not any big deal or anything, but I found a bug. In the achievements menu, for the first one, it says "Use 1 trampoline to unlock bronze." Then, at the bottom, it says "You used 23 trampolines." Like I said, not really anything important, but I thought I'd let you know. Great game, by the way. I don't know how you do it.

Actually screw that, FIVE. With FOUR SEPARATE ADVANCING WALLS OF DOOM. This series gets more and more epic by the second.

The leveling up is a good idea, but it's disappointing seeing as a lot of it is just unlocking the same powerups that were available right off the bat in the previous game. Not bad, but I like 3 the best.
