Eragonandsafira, I think in a broader sense, Pandora's Box symbolizes karma: Be careful with what you wish for. It is quite possible that you lose all your points for nothing, you know, I think that's already evil enough for now.

i agree with all the other complaints, but here's a really good one: if your wall + catapult are destroyed, but your soldiers still win, you receive a 10100% damage received stat. this puts your gold at -90000 or so (depending on how much you had.)

An ok game, but a little glitchy. It keeps telling me that I've eliminated the enemy when there is obviously more coming, like in the middle of the second wave. Other than that, it's a good distraction for a while.

1.) Catapult control is sloppy and loose. This is inexcusable for being your single primary defense.
2.) Annoying "oh noes we're being attacked" popup at the beginning of EVERY ROUND that you have to take the mouse OFF of the aim control to click OK on just to get the hell off the screen. BAD MOVE.
3.) Piss-poor reload speed, and annoying-as-shite complete control unresponsiveness while gimpface is shoving in a new bag of cotton or whatever useless projectile material this thing uses.
3.) Inability to shoot enemies once they get past your gate. If you're out of cash or they're stronger units, once they dogpile on your catapult you're fu(ked.
...and of course the complete lack of available resources at the beginning of the game making this scenario unavoidable. You sadistic prick.
Did you even play the game you wrote? This garbage is GOD AWFUL. 0/5. Keep your day job.

its kinda fun.. until you start getting further on. i'm not sure if the enemies start getting faster, but i swear as you upgrade the catapult you start fireing so much slower, making it much less effective at the small enemys -_- nice enough game tho, just annoing at times, 3/5

I would have liked to be able to shoot the catapult behind the barricade, cuz after it's gone and they'res a boss, your screwed.

@wammyflammy I know that archers are only good for delaying, but they don't do much of anything. They barely delay anything, especially when I have my wall upgraded to the level with the spikes. The spikes hit them, and then the archers miss.

Beat the Ogre General...and it won't let me win! I've killed all the enemies, no more are coming, so...should I restart the level, wait for time to run out, or something?

Vatic, archers are really useful for delayign enemies in later rounds sothat your catapult/better units can go in and dealdaamge to them before they deal damage to your wall. it helped meresist hits from closeup units in the later roudns quite a bit.

It was pretty enjoyable, but stupid things that could have been easily fixed should have. Winning battles with enemies still on the field, the dark elf being called an ogre when it is announced, all take away from the game.

It's a great game if you know what you're doing, even more so when one actually does the tutorial or reads the instructions in the description (which I doubt some people have done). I personally love the game except for aforementioned problems. I'm giving it a 4/5.
Bah, stupid character limit.

Another problem I have is that the Archers don't really help much, if at all. They only fire right next to the gate and by the time things get there it's the general (which they don't do much, if anything, against). Of course, being able to hire more elf archers would help, but that would be a bit too powerful – they almost always hit whatever they're firing at. The humans archers wouldn't.

The bug where the battle just ends ("all enemies defeated") while there's still plenty of guys onscreen is odd.
Also annoying is the fact that traps are useless (you lay down several, and one of those sprinting guys shows up and removes them all.)

Also, as freshadow said (somewhat) it would be nice to be able to fire the catapult somewhat closer. What if you guys died and you can't send/hire anymore?

And while I liked having the ability to customize my army each turn, it got a bit annoying knowing that I'm essentially wasting gold/stone/crystals to get new soldiers each round that just went away at the end of the round/turn. Maybe we can put the ones that survive rounds on reserve or something? They would always be there, but they would cost less and not have a population cost until they are summoned. Something like that.

Also, I agree with "Ohbye" on the ridiculous cost of the mine. The stone needs to go down a bit. Even with the bonus points being spent in the market it's ridiculous. Even moreso when you get such a small amount even when maxed. 100-500 stone, at least, and 20-50 crystals would have been a lot better for the costs you have listed for the mine upgrades.

There are some problems with the game. Every once in a while it'll say you won by "Elimination" when there are a couple (or more) enemies left. This appears the most, for me, when there are traps or enemies are in traps.

Oh also don't save up for stuff just buy every thing you can because the rounds get really hard if you don't have a lot of upgrades.

If you don't want to risk using pandoras box do this after a battle save the game then go to the market and get pandoras box if you get something you don't want refresh the page load that game that you bought the pandoras box and when it loads you have the same amount of points and you never bought the box because you saved before you bought it. P.S. When you reload the game don't buy pandoras box again because it will give you the same thing.

This is fun! Though I agree, it needs serious debugging. Many battles end with enemies on the field and not all waves sent. It's tough ... but I've made it up to 5-2, with only some frustration.
