The game seems to really hate when it isn't the focus. If you are browsing in another window -- it stops reporting progress. If you click on something it tends to jump but it is one of several potential causes of things frozen at 0 and you can't get them.

Is there a wiki somewhere for this game -- trying to remember where I found the gems -- the jeweler is going to be NASTY to level as I didn't hold onto them before.

hey tylerthedesigner, I don't know who you are, BUT i do know this game was created by a studio called: "Retora game studio", so if you have no connection to them, atleast tell where to find the original game.
Hi emppu07,
I really appreciate that you're keeping an eye out for scammers and plagiarists.
I'm the sole owner and operator of Retora Games, so no worries there.

Timers got stuck > nothing finished > reloaded > no save? Both timers & saves (if there even are any) should get a fix ;)

So, basically it's https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bearface.games.merchant Played that game long time ago. Was really addicted, but got bored. Then, a 3D variant was announced for Steam - but never came out. So... if you're the developer of this game: How about the Steam-version?
If you played the game quite some time ago, there are a ton of new features we've added over the past two years. Skills & Abilities, Customers, 2 new crafters, and more.
The 3D variation is still on hiatus, but we did announce a new game recently.
You can find more information on the Reddit post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MerchantRPG/comments/8vbirx/a_new_game/

@tylerthedesigner "As far as full idle mode, that is not currently something the game offers" then remove the idle tag. it's wrong to call it an idle when it's not.
While it isn't fully idle, there are certainly idle elements, which is why I chose the tag.
From what I understand, the tags are crowdsourced based on user input?
If my thoughts on it's idle-like structure are not reciprocated, feel free to downvote the tag.

Selling ingridients by its own is sometimes more effective than the combination... potions for example. I think it should not be that way.

a lot of errors. too many needless waiting animations that you will have to click through thousands of times. why? why do you do this to your players? have you played the game for any amount of time at all? has potential but you make silly decisions like this that kills play-ability.

First off: Love the game so far. I don't know if this has been mentioned but if you reload the page it keeps giving you the skills have been unlocked pop-up despite there being nothing new. Thanks again for the great game!

Question on permanent potions -- can you remove them from slots? IE if you get the ability to use better permanent potions -- or once you use it your slot is filled forever -- permanently so to say.

I'm really enjoying the game so far, but there are some issues keeping at 4/5 - the crafting bug is a show-stopper: tabbing away while an item was crafting, then tabbing back and it is stuck at 100%, unable to complete. There are plenty of places to improve the UI - filters for item level/type/etc would be super helpful, as well as a way of doing some item comparisons based on equipped items for a given hero. All in all, a solid base for a great game.

I should be liking this game, but i dont like it that much. You have to pay to get material, then pay again to make some crafted material, pay again (really) to make something etc.. etc.. Way too much management and really poor return on selling stuff.

Definitely needs some kind of way to auto-quest, to get a hero to repeatedly go to the same place until they are below a certain % of hp or something like that. I do not see any real idle aspect to this game.
As you get deeper in the game, the timers increase (as battles get harder) and you unlock the ability to send heroes on multi-quests.
As far as full idle mode, that is not currently something the game offers, but I'm certainly considering it for browser.

Boy, this looks exactly like an android app I saw, what... four years ago. The reason the pixels look too big is because it was made for a screen smaller than Kongregate's game window-I guess he just expanded it a little too far.
It was indeed an Android game ~4 years ago. It was built for a 640x960 resolution, but is currently downscaled to fit on browser (480x720). What resolution would you recommend for Kongregate?

It has happened on several random quests (when it happens they all aren't able to be retrieved) Yes I have skills set.

Neat now there are pages -- really scared me tho -- I had my quests freeze which has happened 4 times -- reload fixed -- this time it took oh 2 minutes before it loaded me into the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh and it has gotten locked on quests before -- they are complete but can't be clicked. You then need to reload the window.

Also it would be nice if recipies were done by tier. Scrolling through all of the tier 1 recipies to see the tier 2s you know is ...
It's something that has been considered quite a bit, and is on the to-do list.
For now, if you tap sort in the recipes screen, it switches from ascending to descending.

The alchemy profession tends to lag well behind the others. I had to dedicate a hero to just low level gathering for a long while to get it to the next level of potions. Maybe seeing as there are so few potion recipies -- they should give more experience per use.

Fun game, awful lot of clicking between menus though. Make a bigger window, shrink the pixels and you could fit everything in one screen
