Fun and pretty easy until it abruptly isn't anymore. I never did find a good strategy for the blue screaming ghosts that stun you. Found myself in a room with 2 of those and 2 plants that deal over 100 damage with max armor. I walked in it screamed I died. Full to dead with no recourse. Can't block or move while stunned, can't block or dodge the stun. Harder than anything else in the game, including the bosses.

I remember playing this game while watching Dragonball Z: Battle of the Gods on my other monitor. It was kind of fun for a while, but then it got to be pretty tedious at the later stages. I guess that's kind of a metaphor for life itself, actually. All exciting at first, but by the end you're apathetic about pretty much everything. Except seeing your grandkids and stuff, that always seems to be the highlight of an elder's week. Too bad there weren't any grandkids in this game for me to get excited about.

Oh you gotta love groups of enemies that guaranteed stun you for 2 seconds, through walls, at any distance, every 10 seconds.
And ya gotta love when there's enough with just perfect timing, so you get off stun right as another finishes it's cooldown.

I loved the game... then I died. Then realized that there are no checkpoints when you die. I dunno if it's supposed to be like that.

Fun game, but I think the badge is broken (I'm not sure it should be possible to get to level 19 and the second boss without having killed 50 things).

This game reminds me of The Enchanted Cave... And I love The Enchanted Cave ;) It could've been a 5/5 game, but sadly, these aspects took it down to a 3/5: The instructions were unclear (had to figure out M=map by myself, is X the same as space? What does upgrading shield-benefits do?), items can be hidden by objects (and not easily picked up), and you can't see whether you've got any more to pick up if your health is full and there's potions, and last, it's fun at first, but gets repetitive towards the end. Oh yeah, the boss tactic (mainly "wait") is pretty annoying/boring.

I dont understand the hate comments, i LOVED this game lol. wish there were more. SEQUEL SEQUEL SEQUEL! *p.s. if there is a sequel, and i can't find it, let me know

magic makes this game way too easy but it remains tediously long anyway. I'm not at risk of dying at any point but I still have to slog thru these rooms tapping away at hotkeys. This is so terribly dull

Oh look I accidentally went down to floor 2. Now I can't return to floor 1 to continue exploring. Also, there was no warning I was leaving floor 1. Did you even play test your game?

Fireball at spell level 0: 7 second cooldown. After 25 spell levels, each granting 0.2s reduction, fireball has a cooldown of ... 5 seconds. Shenanigans.

...why is there a tablet on floor THREE that explains how to move, block, and attack? And you don't get told how to equip spells until after the floor 3 boss? Go take 5 minutes to think about basic UX, Jesus Christ.

I don't know how many times I accidentally got too close to the stairs before exploring a floor ... basically every single level, with no way to backtrack. Boss fights are boring, moving around is way too slow Could be a fun game but there are a lot of annoying gameplay issues.

Only giving me shield and a 8sec cooldown attack at the start of the game is pretty boring. Auto attacking is pretty damned uninteresting

The concept is good and the skills are nice but the pace is tooooo slow. I actually timed myself and roughly 1/20 of the time I'm just standing/running around doing nothing. Waiting for recharge, waiting for enemy to attack, then mostly moving around maps.. It's like playing an action game with only 1/20 action. That takes a big chunk out of the fun. And running is seriously slow even with full upgrade. More than half of the time mentioned above is due to running around.

I've gotta say, this would have been a lot better as a run-and-gun sort of thing. You know, moving with wasd and aiming spell attacks with the mouse. I never liked auto-targeting, and I like it even less when it can't actually hit enemies consistently.

It would be useful if you could click on a room on the minimap and then you would navigate there automatically. It could make it easier when you need to backtrack to find a merchant or a potion.

For those of you not seeing how many enemies killed, its because chrome disabled flash. Enable flash and you should see the counter go up on every kill.

I recommend Fireball and Ice Shard (fast/strong), Earth Drop (slow/powerful/ auto-hit), Earth Engulf (strong/auto-hit/likely curse), Rain Flame and Hail Storm (powerful/multi-hit/auto-hit), Healing Light (duh). The barrier style spells are useless due to their poor accuracy. The lightning spells are useless because they deal pathetic damage unless you chain 3+ enemies (very unlikely). Earth Summon has an unbelievable cooldown, is locked to a single room, and deals almost no damage.

Magic is OP in this game because the magic upgrades are exponential (due to also reducing cooldown time), magic is the only ranged option (and every enemy description tells you to fight from a safe distance), and there's no mana system (unlimited power!). Bosses are less threatening than dungeon minions, which can annoyingly stun lock you in a corner as you're torn to shreds. Half the spells are useless due to lack of homing, poor damage output, situational usefulness, and long cast times. Movement speed is also sluggish even after upgrading. This game has potential but I rate 3/5 because it was boring as hell. Being able to return to the last boss floor is nice though.

Could you add in something that lists how many enemies you've killed? The badge isn't working, and I don't know how to prove that I've killed 50 enemies.
