Bug report: Last type of tactical battles may be bugged. I face several enemies, but in the middle stands one that looks identical to my main Hero, and the hit chance on that guy is always NaN, and then the game freezes soon after.

blacksmith weapons are crap, you can get better weapons in tatical battles (i got a sword and a book with 6D12 and decent buffs) or buy it from shop and make the weapon with the buffs that you want, all that you need is the dice potions (take some time to be able to caft but worth it) to increase the number of dices. My weapon atm have 21D12 =p

David, the store weapons are better with extra dice rolls. Extra dice rolls affect higher base damage ones more than the end blacksmith items. Therefore, store items > blacksmith at higher dice rolls. So store items > blacksmith items.

Doesn't seem to want to load in FireFox. Not having trouble with any other games that I can find so I don't know what's up.

Very enjoyable. Might we see skill discriptors in future builds? Perhaps a rollover or a click for what the skill effects or some such? the basics are easy enough to understand, but things like mysticism are less straight forward.

FYI to those asking, if it's the same as last game, the Elixer of Twisted Fate (Divine Intervention) is death protection. If you drink it in a battle, and die in the battle you're saved (no death penalty).

I found a bug.
conditions:
equipment menu is open
standing on stairs
hit the go down button
the equipment menu will go away, but it will maintain the functionality of the menu with all of your equipment and items superimposed on the dungeon. the buttons on the left work as if the menu were still open. the only way to fix it is to exit the dungeon.

Wanille, the first number is the number of dice rolled and the second number refers to how many sides the die has, a weapon with a damage score of 1d6 rolls one six sided die for a damage of 1-6, while a weapon with a damage score of 2d12 would roll two twelve sided dice for a possible 2-24 points of damage (before bonuses).

To be corrected: the order of display in your bag. I do not count the number of times I've sold items because they're not appearing in a linear order!
To be added:
1) A way to sort out the content of your inventory/store/bag. Both by types (potions, weapons, etc.) and by value. This will help when equipping your character or squad.
2) Possibility to sell the whole content of your bag at once.
3) A way to create items or experiment faster as it is much bothersome to click again and again just to improve a little bit your skills.

Just a question, why are there no left hand weapons? Does the game just assume that there are no left handed/both handed people in this world?

@elzargh: Use the furniture bashing hammer to remove the furniture that's blocking the way. Wall hammer doesn't work for clearing a path.

@qlzqqlzuup The prison dungeon does indeed get very very hard. I don't know why you didn't notice how it goes to demons that have around 100 health, and can do 45 damage a magic shot to you.
Alchemist also increases very slowly.
@olinn A Main-Gauge has been a weapon in fantasy games for decades. :) Nothing to do with the real life one. Don't complain about video games.

Maybe someone can help me out here. I chose vampire for the inherent bonus to "life drain" (which I assume meant life leech), but I see no bonus or benefit from this.

just a thanks---i've played most of your games and all are between worth playing and great and i haven't seen you change to the (add pay content) phase yet---(i respect that)---also will there be a Cardian 2?

main-gauche as right-handed weapon? *FAIL!* main-gauche is a parrying dagger used with the off-hand. the term "main-gauche" comes from the fact that main-gauche is french for "left hand"

Some of the dungeons that are supposed to increase their difficulty as I complete them over and over don't do that - blacksmith's, taylorer's, alchemist's and prison being some of them. Feels unfair to beat 5 skulls dungeon so cheap.

what i'd like to see is that an artifact is a 1 type of a kind, its annoying to get 5 x the same artifact in a row :/

There is a bug, in game, that make those battle with your squad way to easy (especially if you use more ranged characters). Here it's how it happens: When you have someone without enough "energy" to make an attack, you only need to make that same character "move" to another square (the distance doesn't matter), in the mean time you'll have the option to use "rest" on, and if you use it, the turn will not end for a short time, and with enough energy you can make your attack :)

I'm having problems with some of the awards. The Claim 20 Walls and the Reach floor 50 haven't updated for me. I'm not sure if I've claimed 20 furniture yet, but if I haven't I don't have that one either.

I played this game for over 4 hours... It is good, just a few suggestions; My Squad: I have 6 different people to equip, without an auto e-quip feature with my best equipment, this takes an age!... The concept is great but I spend more time trudging through junk items then playing the game... Playing the same dungeon over & over for Alchemy/Tinkering gets a little tedious. I used two spells, G.Heal/Heal. There are so many battles with enemies that I auto attacked everythng & felt no need for other spells. I love gaes from undefined & think they're amazing, A great base, I just feel improvements could be made.

@Xelestrial and @Patrick45 Please look up Probability theory before complaining about something that cannot be fixed at all. You both suffered from bad luck, extreme bad luck. Not a bug.
A 50% chance to hit can roll as a miss 4000 times in a row. :) It may not be likely, but it can still happen.
Also, the best way to avoid those issues is to stop attacking things with less than a 85% chance to hit.

@lycium No, the in store items are nowhere as good as the weapons in the Blacksmithing group. I have no idea how you can think that. The best store weapon is 3d10. The best blacksmithing weapon is 12d6 How can you think 3-30 damage is better than 12-72 ever? Also, you need a lot more than just artistry to make those potions. You'll need almost 800 Alchemy. Which will take a long time. Also, it takes forever to get a high chance to extract gems from items. Even at 1000 enchantment, it's not a 100% guarantee. So that advice is not good.

Boss, there's an intruder in the secret hideout!" - "What kind of intruder?" - "It's a mindflayer wearing bunny slippers and a pink hair ribbon. And it's wielding a carrot, sir." - "What is it doing?" - "It's killing all the guards and robbing all the treasure chests, sir." - "Then we must all stand still, hold our positions and not move an inch until it walks up and attacks us!

Tips: (1) Avoid blacksmithing, the in store weapons are better. They have more slots and a higher base damage Level artistry asap. See (2)
(2) There are potions to increase dice roll, none for base damage. Max artistry asap to get a huge success boost and start cranking out those extra dice potions. Just go to experiment the put a cheap ingredient in and grind, takes 10min
(3) Avoid leveling party members and just recruit the OP ones from the last difficulty of the party dungeon.
(4) The easiest skills for the Jack of Trades award is (Skill in whatever you use to attack, Weapon Defense, Anatomy, Leadership, Observation, Artistry, Scavenging, Mysticism, Bargaining, Enchanting)
(5) Try to aim for the top gems that you get from breaking down the artifacts found in the final levels. Like 25% magic damage+ and stuff

In-game achievements seem oddly bugged. I got the Tailoring recipe achievement well before I had 20 recipes, and I have reached level 90 of the unfinished dungeon without getting the achievement for reaching level 50.
