um, I don't know if anyone noticed this, but when you see this game on the home page, it kinda looks like that robot thing off portal 2 except red. XD

decent game, it is however flawed, missions need to be repeatable and create your own ships and stop using obvious ripped designs. Althoughi do give you credit for making them look good.

I guess we're supposed to ignore that you've just ripped off ships from Star Wars and BSG instead of making your own.

I was going to give this game a playthrough until I saw that the first two ships were shamelessly stolen from Star Wars. I'm pretty sure that's some sort of Copyright Infringement.

Beginner tip: Upgrade energy syphon on the Hulk ship. As of right now energy syphon is probably the best attack. The attack costs 40 energy to use, but while using it you instantly regain 20 energy making this attack actually the cheapest of every attack. Energy syphon also deals 1 more damage per level and can hit many opponents in 1 attack making it very useful for crowd control. Last but certainly not least, energy syphon drains 1 more energy every time you level it up. After a while this attack will cripple your opponents' ability to attack giving your team more healing time.
By level 20 you will be able to drain 23 energy per attack per opponent while doing 27 damage per hit and if you've maxed out energy regeneration by that time you will be able to use this attack continuously without ever having to rest.

Good concept, but a little too easy, and need a little more variety of ships. for now 4/5...but has the potential for better than 5/5 ^_^

Great concept, but a few significant flaws keeps it from being a great game. As stated before, the difficulty scales very quickly, very early. This is mostly because of the level cap, which you hit almost as soon as you reach a new system. Caps are a huge pain, as they usually don't realistically portray the difficulty of each system. A lack of repeatable missions makes buying and leveling new ships almost impossible past a certain (early) point, as they start at level 1. Each mission is a juggling act between sending green ships to level them up, and sending veteran ships so you actually complete the mission. I'm starting to wonder if anyone has actually beaten this game, and how many times they had to restart to figure out the minmaxing necessary to do so.

it would help is there were a way to check how the upgrades go. I meean, a few of them are at maximum strength at two upgrades. it's easy to hit the upgrade button and do absolutely nothing. Good game though. I am enjoying what I can do, some of my lucky picks.

Love the game. But rather hard. Immediately. And i'm at a loss as to how i level up my new ships. Ill keep trying i guess. But it isn't an easy task by any means. All in all. The concept is great. I like the engine. There is a fair number of ships and different weapons. Very enjoyable game at the start that tapered off do to a high difficulty. Maybe i just haven't figured out the game yet? Idk. Great job. I enjoyed your game :D

I find myself using only the hulk, bomber, and kongregate ships for every level.. and even needing the kongregate ship for most of the later levels @@ it was pretty fun at first, but as soon as you get past say.. level 25, your ships become nearly invincible and can usually just 1hko every single ship in the enemy fleet :p also.. please clean up the enemy stats a bit in the briefing screen.. that kinetic defense number is usually different from what you see on the actual battlefield

Tip for all those complaining about the difficulty curve: Move on to new systems as soon as possible. You can buy level 1 ships there and bring them back to weak systems later for leveling up. Right now I have 8 systems 'saved up' full of old crappy missions.

Is it just me or is this guy stealing the skull you see when an enemy blows up directly from arkandian elements. They look identical

BOG: The defence values displayed in the fleet section differ between what's on screen at the top, and the text at the bottom.

BUG: When I reload my game, often my low level ships lose upgrades. My fighters lose their rail barrages constantly, and because I can't go back to a previous save, I'm screwed the rest of the game.

547843, There is no functional difference between bleeding a minimal chunk of the reward to a player and allowing them to replay past levels in this game as levels don't offer special rewards.

@Undefined I usually love the games you come up with, but this one seems to be a little low for your standards. Sure, your other games have a little lag here and there, but it was still fun to play. This one doesn't catch my interest, even though you are a great game developer. Overall, I give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10, just out of respect for you.

I like this game, I really do, but it's ridiculous after some time how hard the game gets, with enemies that are both more durable and stronger than your ships.

Very confusing layout. Based on experience, I think the ships protection is kinetic - energy - plasma for your ships, but kinetic - plasma - energy for enemy ships! Would really help if they had icons.

Either this is a deliberately hard game, or we've been trolled. Without some way to level up the ships you can buy and the really small fleet caps for the missions theres just no way to get more than a couple of systems in because you simply cannot survive battles, let alone win them.
Solution: Repeatable and/or random missions in each system.
