Suggestion: make them level up on their own as they get XP, make them movable, and the expense of moving one around should increase by the level of the moved unit. So one would need to place the new units where they can level up, but moving the high level units away from there would be costly.

GUIDE: As said, the PRONE spell negates ALL immunities from monsters, even though it lies and says only trap-negation!!! This makes it mandatory for any map past the first one.------There are only a few viable strategies in the game, so grind not needed. WARRIORS are key! Huge DPS, hard hitting to get thru armor and cheap. Spend all manuals on warriors. PALADINS are the second key. Upgrading them has no real effect so don't bother. Place them at the end of an endpoint or pier, where monsters have to go past them, around them, and past them again. The Mana Drain traps are by far the best as they generate tons of mana mid-lategame. Use Midas Touch spell on high armor foes to get extra cash out of them(and make it easier to kill). Dont bother with long mazes, the 5% regenerators and high barrack cost make these bad. Instead focus on upgrading that main Paladin, then some warriors.

Ok, these wraiths (unhittable by ANY of your units, only the worthless traps can hurt them), are some total BULLSHIT. What a terrible terrible idea, and not even a spell or unit to deal with it in any way. No good direct damage spells either. Bad design.

I agree with many of your comments, this has the makings of an extremely good and addictive game. Sadly, it was poorly made so there aren't as many features as we would have liked and it often lags. I believe that if game developers decided to make a Hordes of Hordes 2 and fixed all the problems this would be a fantastic game.

Some serious bugs with "Rain" spell, especially when used in conjunction with bombs & slow, made my game run with heavy lags and super slow. You can just remove the graphics effects for those spells.

Its far to hard - I dont want to play the first 3 levels more then twice just to be strong enough to beat the last wave of lvl 4... needs to much time.

The prone spell removes more immunities than just trap immunity, BTW. Plenty of things like that are not mentionned and must be discovered with costly and slow trial and error.

Kinda sucks that you can't upgrade your troops without beating new levels or somethin apparently, at least at the start. This makes beatin even the second level just a liiiiiiittle bit hard.

Hm...dark sprites, completely unable to be targeted but there isn't enough cooldown time for traps to kill the condensed line of them. Might need a bit of rebalancing on that.

Amendment: Perhaps a little tooltip that says what the upgrades will do as well. I like the game so far, will play more.

Some suggestions: Trap cooldown reset on Send Wave button hit, possible 'alternate path' line that shows where the path will go when you block it, when you upgrade the litlte menu to sell/upgrade stays until clicked away from. Other things: Perhaps upgrade 'trees'.

Was it me... or was there a group of monsters that can't be damaged?... none of my units attack them, they just run right through the path... lost 30 Life in an instant... can't do a thing, not even Spells work...

I did note a critical point of slowness as the level numbers crept up. I don't think that that would make a much faster throttle undesirable even if it had little impact in the late game. Also, perhaps some setting could exist to make the computer think faster. However, this is only likely to work if the problem is graphic... which, I suppose it could be in some cases... rather than mathematical...

potential fun but for the boring grind. i don't altogether mind grinding so long as it isn't boring but this grind is too slow for such a small reward

Hey, Beegum - you will find that even with 2x speed, the game slows (and sometimes even crashes) in the "endless" mode, when the entire screen is filled with monsters and defenders. I believe that it is a fundamental design problem that would require a major rewrite to correct. (That ain't gonna happen). So get something to read, or listen to a newscast while you wait. As another poster so aptly put it, "Anonymous games tend to be a grindfest".

undefined, I have played and enjoyed many of your games. Some of them need a super speed button for people who would otherwise play your game much longer. After running a level a few times it gets pretty boring and you're making microchanges to your setup. At this point people would still play if there was a super speed button. When you resist, you close your game off to these people and only retain the super hardcore.

I would love if there was an 'undo last barrier placement' button. Right now you have to guess how a barrier would affect the path and not all of us are good at solving optimisation problems in our heads.

one little bug: after finishing level if you click on place where your barricades were placed you will get a message saying that you can destroy them only between waves

Good game. Either I pressed wiped data accidental-like or it wipes data automatically when you complete the last level in normal mode. Would be nice if there was an 'Are you sure you want to wipe data?' after button..

I hear a lot of complaints... the game is not perfect. SO WHAT. Life is not perfect. Suck it up and get on with it. This game has a lot going for it: here is a tower defense game where YOU GET TO CREATE THE ENEMY'S PATH OF ATTACK. That's kinda new.
A lot of the complaints I hear are from people who don't yet understand the game basics. Sorry, but if it was easy, it would be boring. This game rewards a thoughtful approach.
So here is MY challenge for you wannabe heros: I, FROGSPIT (The Mighty Conqueror), am the holder of the All Time Combined Top Score. Let me see you beat it. Come-on, I dare you. I know for a fact, that there is potential to improve my top score.... I even promise that I won't boost my score until September 1st, 2012. Just to give you a fair shot.

well, its a new undefined game, for sure. just wish he would work on making some of the other games better rather than churning out more. i can think of a few that wouldnt need much work and would get a much higher score for it. all i want is some updates and patches like other people seem to be more willing to do. if you take time to listen to us players, we wouldnt be so bitchy about your latest games.

News Flash: the "Endless Mode" isn't truly endless.... There are 300 waves on the first map.
When I got to wave 250, I looked to see what was ahead. The final wave was Shrooms with over 800 MILLION hit points. I made it only as far as wave 261 when I was wiped out by a wave with the infamous "Anti-Magic Field".
Score for map 5.47 million. Reward: pitiful.
