I am really enjoying this game. The different weapons and upgrades are very interesting and rewarding. The one bug I have run into several times I have seen mentioned. Sometimes after selting a unit it stays on my mouse even after hitting spacebar. It makes it impossible to save up and spend over 50 gold on improving my units! Please fix that..

dont really see how people prefer the other protector games... this one is finally NOT just a grindfest. My favorite so far... and im glad the achievements mean nothing and have no effect on gameplay. people playing games for achievements instead of playing to enjoy a game is absolutely ridiculous. i miss the heroes from 3 but at least the game isnt full of the horrible skill trees from 4.

The game is not very good. I appreciate that you're trying new things but the current upgrade system doesn't work that well because units will become obsolete, the graphics are way too stupid in appearance, the game was way too dumbed down so it quickly becomes boring and the same strategy can be applied too every level.

Tip: Put the majority of your points into damage dealing then put a few into Master craftsman, and then some in soul harvester. Regardless of the enemies weakness, points in damage dealing will let your initial set of units (I usually make archers or warriors depending on the map layout) own everything the first few levels so you can set up your harvesters and begin building specific units to the weakness of the enemies. Hope this helps!

btw, the best strategies on most levels are using melee guys with splash damage or using massive amounts of archers. In later levels, it works really well to use mages with mana drain (especially the Wizards Pal weapon) and cast Champion over and over. It is pretty easy to end up with +200% damage for all of your units that way.

Game is really well done. 30 (of 45?) maps done and so far no problem. Difficulty is ok, not to easy, not to hard. Seems like impossible to have any problems with first few maps :O And please people stop whining about harvesting only 1 spot at a time - that is REALLY enough!
1) Unbounding items at end of the wave would be great.
2) Bonus for achievments? Nah, that might be pretty hard to rebalance game (and i think that now its pretty good balanced)
3) At Crystal Gardens map there's a bug with a field right to green entrance field. After destroying trees there i'm either unable to build anything there or if i build something there, then it at some point disappear.
4) Another bug - sometimes item description "sticks" to the mouse pointer. So far it happend to me twice, both times with +20% Slow rings. Description "cloud" disappears after finishing map.

While it's a noticeable variation from the earlier Protector series, it still maintains well-polished TD gameplay. <3.

If you use status affect weapons on people harvesting and something walks by without the status, they will target it.

Items should get unbound at the end of a wave, if they are in the inventory. This prevents exploiting micro management with a single strong set of items and still allows flexibility with the item distribution.

Quit button really needs confirmation. Also, roadrunners of dreams map is not only roadruners but also sudden death. Bug?

Here's my add to the feedback you've already received. Fast forward isn't really that "fast". More like "from a snail to a turtle -speed". Harvesting is something completely stupid. Why would you even add that? That's no bonus. You are forcing people to add warriors in weird places just to farm materials. It's pointless. Graphics are utterly horrible. This is just nothing like the good old Protectors. Shame you even released this. 1/5.

I'm pretty sure that "Elemental Plains of Scarcity" which is labeled as a Road Runner map, is actually a drainage map.

I really like this game, finding the right strategy to beat each level is challenging and fun. Harvesting adds some micro-management, choosing units, placement, weapons and who to give items to not to mention getting the the right skills before you even start makes it more then a simple tower defence.
Only annoying thing is equpping an item means you can't unequip it and give to someone else. Also if I decide to change a units weapon or equipment like a mage I can't give the old stuff to a new mage I have to recycle it instead. Also I got a bug 1st time I played where an info panel for an item bugged and I had to finish level before it went. I'm looking forward to seeing how this game evolves.

Quite hard in the beginning, then much easier.
Don't forget to reallocate your skill points depending on the map.
Mana battery is a very good skill for all purposes when you have some good spells (some of them are very powerful)

Personally, I like this better then protector.... less complicated, more entertaining, especially trying to balance between resource and defending

MANN!i dunno why but i got an bug that THERES ALWAYS an archer in my mouse!i put CANCEL and its STILL THERE!!!:( great game but id experience it betta if no bug was in the game!rly enjoyed protector series but this is a bit glitched :(

the harvesting system is annoying. sometimes the soldiers continue harvesting when enemies are in their range and sometimes they don't start harvesting again after the wave.

First Protector needed some work but was otherwise competent, Reclaiming the throne was pretty fun with all the different strategies you had to come up with. Never played 3 so no idea. Mercenaries was a turd cause all problems could be solved by brute force (one mage one physical one archer with maxed attack stats) and grind. This I cannot find words for. The gameplay is meh, the graphics are repulsive and the fun is nowhere to be found. Cmon, you can do better.

I concur with the top comments that this game didn't quite facilitate our expectations. You say 'simpler', but game has advanced targeting / multi-tasking need between harvest and battle / tougher placing of units / tougher enemies. Not to mention no way to grind for better stuff than to beat levels, which become exponentially harder. The tutorial and tips are written in kid lingo, but doesn't match game difficulty. 3/5 imo.

This is so much better then protector. You don't have to place them in the back because they might otherwise lvl too fast. The lvling way here rules. As the skill-distribution. You can tweak it for every lvl. As the use of the scripts. And the lootdrops are nice too. Awesome game.

This games are like wine, with every attempt and after some frustrating maps, I start liking them more and more... And for the fact of not been a sissy, I have keep trying the maps until I start working through it (just like Resonance of Fate, but without the... it's just hard, ok?).
Either way, after starting to survive the maps I realize that not only you have to harvest resources, but that you must do it one at a time... and thats kinda really sucks XD... ok, it's more difficult, but doesn't make too much sense, besides, after depleting the adjacent resources, the best harvesters (at least at this point of my game) become useless (I mean the soldiers with axes). Though, good game.

The game is big fun, but it suddenly gets to hard. The first levels are like: Oh, I don't need units anyway to beat this zZzZ. And after the first few levels its like: Wtf? I nearly got beaten in the first round, how can I ever survive this level?
I think it would be a good idea if units harvest automatically if they don't attack enemys when they are out of range.

People... Known Blueprints / Little Dress Up is a way to browse the blueprints you have found and see how they look. It's Not a way to equip your units before starting a level. It wouldn't be much of a challenge if you could pre-equip everyone in uber gear now would it?
You get the Weapons and Armour during a level by crafting them in the unit window.

Can someone please help me? How do i equip items, i click them and click on map i click back and its back to normal PLEASE HELP!
