Love the protector series, but this isn't what I wanted it to be. It has some cool ideas it brings to the regular formula, but a lot of things aren't executed as well as they could be *cough harvesting cough cough*

The game is fun but i think they should change the upgrading system a little to make it a tad bit easier and that the harvesting process should also be changed, not sure exactly what, but there is something that needs it. Fix some of these annoying aspects of the game and i would give it a 4/5 but for now it is a 3/5.

No one is too weak for a map, I do every map with normal starter towers without upgrading them ('part from giving them several rings from drops) and I do alright. It's just about finding the right tactic.

Towely: "If i change the equipment of my little protectors in the "known blueprints / little dress up" it does not save!!! after selecting another menu, the equipment is been set to the crappy start equipment!! what am i doin wrong?" I lol'd, did you really believe that you could start with all the "uber" gear? In blueprints / dress up, you can SEE how it fits. Thats why its called Dress-Up, not Gear... Use that brain of yours.

nevermind. with infinite skill resets it becomes part of the build for particular map, thus making it individual for every map in some way asd you just max either craftsman or mana..

Huge Glitch! I maxed the Surviver skill and went to map Non-Existant map level 9(waves 15, drainage map) and it's a blank map with my lives going nan(not a number) I reset my skill and it works fine.

Smunchtastic map is impossible, wasted good 4 hours trying to figure out the right pattern.
Same as Scarcity map, where you basically end up with 1 of each class without any upgrades, and with magic as it is, it helps survive maybe 1-2 waves, no more. Basically you are getting raped over and over, thus making most of the game content(which im not sure excists? anyone? besides 5 grey maps and 3 color ones?) .
Make a difficulty choise option or something. FUN, VERY FUN, but impossibly hard at some points. Cant be bothered to play again before any balance updates are out.
5/5 in hope of future updates.

I really want to like this game, I really do. But a lot of the changes suggested would make this game go from, somewhat fun and somewhat annoying to just fun. Harvesting needs a fix and so does gaining exp even on defeat. I want to be able to max that skill tree and if I waste enough time playing I should be able to. Those two things would make this game 10x better.

So simple, yet so much fun. The concepts are very basic but have been put together very well. This seems to be a game that you can just pick up and play. You sometimes need to re-pick where your skills have gone to beat certain levels and that adds another dimension to the game. It seems that if you don't/couldn't be bothered playing one of the other protector games this gives you that same experience just in a slightly different way. The one thing that I would change/like to clarify is the difficulty rating.

got right to the end of a 30 wave level and then died and i got nothin for it, this really needs to go by exp not 1 skill per level

This would be a better game if the soldiers could harvest a part of a selected ressource after each attack by each soldier and not all ressources when the resource is destructed.
And better if we could launch more harvests at the same time.

I think the resource collecting would be better with a specific class of minion to harvest, maybe cheaper than regular units.

The Known Blueprints / Little Dressup is simply to let you browse your current Blueprint collection. To equip the items you have to build them during gameplay. It's just an interesting way of letting you see how they all look together.

i love the game, but i don't know about the armour you can give to your units before hand, does it stay on them? because it doesnt show it on them in battle and when i go back to the screen its not equiped anymore....

Sadly a step DOWN from the other protector games. Some people will find this actually impossible. 3/5 because of the creators other good games.

Needs a Endless mode and you should be able to play 1 level and level up other than those few moderate tweaks Great game 4.5/5

Very nice and good improvement in graphics - i like the new style! The game is very easy and not that much challenging (well... at least it is harder than Protector IV...).

Equiping in the map is just for dressing up your little protectors, you have to craft the items on the field for them to use it.

what a stupid comments this great game has, its difficult when you use wrong tactic on specific map, first time see players want change mechanic of game to be easier when its perfectly ballanced almost, warriors are fast enough etc. etc.
