my bravery stopped leveling up at 500. I want to go into a dungeon that requires 550 bravery. :( BTW, the red lightsaber is awesome. It's almost as good at the "best" weapon you get with prestige

There is to little information and to little control for the user. And way to many bugs. I've loved the previous Protectors, but this one is falling short of expectations. =\

Holy cow I just finished a book with the main character called Hiro Protagonist. Are the other starting names in this series base on namess from books?
OH yeah the book is called snow crash

the "exploration" guide is bullcrap. You don't get enough prestige to get the youth potions since they are way too expensive (even with piety AND prestige). What you need to do is to focus on training mellee skill, armor use and magic resist. The best way to do this is to unlock the "advanced combat" training through academy ("mechanical") and then just do that training. when you reach 500 mellee skill start doing dungeons and you'll be fine. at the same time upgrade stuff to raise the cap and keep on training.
you may start with the exploration guide but only to find places and villagers-nothing more. it won't ever win you the game since it's way too random.

also if it takes u 350 planks of wood to make one pointy stick may i remind u make of thiner wood you have to be aweful at chisiling a stick out

I really liked the random stat gains during the fights, which are now useless animation and should be even shorter. Too much work & rest. Otherwise, the best interface so far. The village and construction system is nice but resources are a pain to gain. I'd rather play Protector V!

makeing u restart when trying to master is bs its likes getting all the way to the fight with auldin in skyrim then your memory card gets wiped so fking stop it its just aweful

Does the resting stat work properly? Because it seems like my rests only rest for the base amount. For example, my Forest local says that it takes away 37 stress, but it continuously takes away only 35. Not a huge difference, but still.

I enjoy the concept behind many of the new features, but ultimately this is so buggy it feels like a downgrade. My characters are constantly walking through walls, the menu buttons frequently open the wrong menus, and just now my browser crashed and when I restarted it my save file had corrupted (everything lists as 'undefined'). Kind of sloppy for what is supposed to be a new and improved game.

The way i played was just street sweeping for money and not spending any prestige points at all. all i ever did was explore work and rest. Then i did all of the easy dungeons first because of the gold and plentiful resources. i continued this cycle and eventually obtained the ancient blade which i used to pwn all the n00bz in the dungeons until i was able to repair my city. by the way the streets must be sparkling clean by now. i hope this helps!!!

Wuh-oh... Pretty big bug: I just tried to do the dungeons Runic something... Runic Pass or something like that. Anyway, when it started, there was just a black screen in place of the dungeon. I hit an arrow key and it acted like I had completed the level, and the victory prize was flashing between multiple items, with "State Change" underneath it :/

Gotta say, I miss gaining combat experience/items/money from killing enemies, otherwise, another great instalment to the Pet Protector series!

is there some way to know when you've explored all possible dungeons ? if not , are the dungeons unlimited ? because right now im spending tens of thousand of coins on exploration for useless materials :3

On of the worst combat systems I've ever seen. You can't have a battle system where the player cannot control what their character will do (magic or physical attack) without making combat much more than "I really hope my character will do what I want instead of something that does no damage!" As combat is pretty much the entire game, I had to rate this a 1/5, upgradable to 4/5 if you were able to actually control what kind of attack you use in battle.

@riotpopper I haven't been paying much attention to magic damage stuff but the reptilian staff from the lizardman dungeon has 6 and is easy to get.

the better building training has two skill improvements but only improves construction. The second skill seems to just copy over from other skills you've looked at

What algorithm is used to determine whether my char will use magic or normal attack? I don't get how he will attack a magic resistant enemy with magic 3 times in a row when he could kill him with 2 sword strikes...
