To everyone complaining about you missing constantly/monsters always hitting: train your combat/magic skills at 90 you are pretty much guaranteed success.

Ah yes sweet - a RPG-remake of the cute Princess Maker games. I dont know how other people like this style of game but i simply love it ^^
Because of nostalgic reasons 5/5 from me ;)

Aside from a limited choice of items, limited hair styles and skin tones, imbalance between mages and warriors as Trerro so kindly pointed out, and various other things...
This game is definitely worth the time due to its dungeon-crawler capability, traditional RPG feel, and easy-to-understand game concepts.

I asked this a while ago and no one answered. So... WHAT DOES "TEMPERAMENT" DO??? Also, sin and refinement - what do they do?

The overall design is good, but the balance is absolutely terrible. As a mage, I could barely make it to the 4th dungeon. As a warrior, I cleared them all with >60 turns left. Balance problems:
1. Warriors get the second best weapon just by training a stat they have to train anyway, mages get meh gloves for training theirs.
2. There are no new spells, no caster gear, and no way to boost spell damage except your stat... and the stat isn't much better than the warrior's, so that free sword guarantees better damage than a mage can get, ever.
3. Despite having an attack that will ALWAYS be weaker, mages have limited mana.
4. Warriors never need magical defense, mages can't survive without physical defense.
Result: Mages suck, and clicking mage at the beginning ensures you will basically fail at the game.

Yeah - I've come to conclusion that there is no way to max out the dragon tamer job unless there is some way to reduce the stress increments...

Pretty good game, a story would be a great aspect. Maybe instead of the rolling of a dice have some sort of choice in what to try for. Make it longer and faster combat and I'll be addicted for quite a while. 4/5
Tier 5 Brilliant Tutor of Combat

The stress meter is measured from 0-100, but the limit is 70, so it should only make sense that the meter should measure from 0-70

Neat idea, but the gameplay is incredibly tedious. The combat system is boring and slow. The scoring is really stupid. I had a hero with max combat/magic attack, defense, and repute, and max fame. I got "Tutor of Magic" as my final score. Stupid.

*Here be dragons is unattainable* some quick math- u get 2.1 to your job per week no exceptions. You can only train dragons 2 times before sleeping and you only have 53 weeks between 17-18th birthday. That works out to 17 weeks sleeping and 36 weeks working. 36*2.1= 75.6 This is the max you can get b4 your 18th birthday!!

Refinement and Morals do not cap at 100.0 when using Forest Holiday. Temperament did not cap at 100.0 when using Poetry School. Dragon Tamer does not appear to be possible to advance much above 72 before hitting game end. Great game though!

Now, I'm not complaining, but in a medieval-esque setting like this one, I'm pretty sure if the apprentice refused to go to work because he was 'too stressed', the master would beat the living shiznit out of him.

Hmm... Okay, so I got all the best equipment in every slot, maxed magic defense, combat attack, combat defense, combat repute, and fame, cleared out EVERY dungeon completely, not to mention the 20,104 gold I collected as well as mastering combat and strategy training... and I end up as tier 5? This seems odd to me.

Not a bad little game, reminds me of the Princess Maker series. Wish fighting in dungeons would increase your stats as well, it'd be nice if there was some sort of additional level up for fighting as well. Also it'd be cool if the completed sets would be uber powerful or something.

main problem i have with this......my character misses like 85% of the time.....i have won like 3 out of 15 fights....its really annoying
